Orin soared through the skies of the dragon kingdom, his magic lifting him higher and higher as he held a book in his hand.
The other six books flew around him, following his every move as he read through them with great interest.
The dragon kingdom's library was vast, with rows upon rows of books on every imaginable subject.
Orin had always loved visiting the library, especially at Dragon Kingdom Library. Dragon are race that famous for their vast knowledge and strength.
It is because dragon live far more longer than any other race. Dragon also like to collect every knowledge around the world and keep it inside their library.
But today he had a specific purpose in mind. He was searching for information on seal that binding the demon also about the ancient One.
As he flew, he saw Puiteh approaching him, her wings flapping gracefully as she descended towards him.
"Orin, I see you're still as absorbed in your books as ever," Puiteh said with a smile as she landed beside him.
Orin grinned back at her.
"I can never get enough of reading, Puiteh. You know that."
Puiteh's expression grew serious.
"I wish that was the only thing we had to worry about right now."
"The dragon kingdom is in turmoil. Many of my people want to take revenge against the demons for what they did to us,"
"but others are too afraid to fight. They're begging for peace with the demon lord and his army."
Orin's expression grew somber. "I know. I saw the destruction they caused. It's not something that can be easily forgotten."
"Have you found any answers in those books?" Puiteh asked, gesturing to the tomes that floated around Orin.
Orin nodded.
"I have. I've discovered information on nine artefacts that are said to have immense power."
"Zarek believes that these artefacts may be the key to defeating the demon lord and his army. I've been tasked with collecting them."
Puiteh's eyes widened in surprise.
"Nine artefacts? That's a daunting task, Orin. Are you sure you're up for it?"
Orin smiled confidently. "I'm more than up for it."
Puiteh transforms herself as a woman and placed a hand on Orin's shoulder.
"I know you will. But be careful, Orin. These artefacts won't be easy to find, and the demons will stop at nothing to keep them out of our hands."
Orin nodded.
"I know. But I won't let that stop me. "
Puiteh looked at Orin with admiration.
"I have no doubt that you will, my friend. I'll be here to help you in any way that I can."
Orin smiled at Puiteh.
"I know. And I couldn't do it without you."
What Puiteh doesn't know, Orin also found out that all the nine artefacts also are the key to breaking the seal for demons.
Puiteh forgot how twisted Orin mind was. All Orin wants was a battle. One battle that can satisfice him.
The news of the attack at the dragon kingdom spread quickly throughout the human kingdom, causing panic and fear among the people.
Many of them had heard stories of the demon lord and his army, and feared that they would be next to fall under their attack.
Some even began to hoard supplies, while others sought refuge in the cities, believing that they would be safer there.
The king of the human kingdom, Agiroth, called an emergency meeting of his council.
They discussed the best course of action, with some advocating for an immediate attack on the demon kingdom, while others suggested seeking allies and building up their own army first.
The streets were filled with people, many of them carrying weapons and shouting for justice.
"We need to get out of here, this is getting out of control," one man said to his companion as they walked quickly down the street.
"I agree, it's not safe. We should head to the palace and see if the king has any news about the attack," his companion replied.
"But what about our families? We can't just leave them here," another man interjected, looking around frantically.
"They'll be safer if we can get some information and come back with a plan," the first man said, trying to calm the man.
"I don't know, I think we should arm ourselves and fight back. We can't just sit here and do nothing," a woman said, brandishing a kitchen knife.
"No, violence will only lead to more death. We need to stay calm and think rationally. We'll figure out a plan and come back for our families," the second man said, trying to reason with the woman.
The group of people continued to argue amongst themselves, their voices growing louder and more frantic as the panic in the streets continued to spread.
The city guard struggled to maintain order, and there were reports of looting and riots in some areas.
Many of the people turned to their religious leaders for guidance, and the temples and churches were filled with people seeking comfort and protection.
Priests and priestesses performed rituals and prayers to the gods, asking for their help in repelling the demon invasion.
"Please, my lord, hear my prayer. The demons are attacking our kingdom, and we are powerless against them. Protect us and give us the strength to defend ourselves."
"Gods above, please have mercy on us. Our kingdom is in turmoil and we need your guidance to overcome this evil."
"The demons are coming for us, my lady. Please, hear our cries for help and protect us from their wrath."
"Father, please bless our warriors and guide them in battle. Give them the courage and strength to defeat the demons and protect our land."
"We put our faith in you, dear gods. Please do not abandon us in our time of need."
"We beg of you, please save us from the demons. We will do anything, make any sacrifice, if only you will protect us."
"Gods, please hear our prayers. We implore you to help us defeat the demons and bring peace to our land once more."
The markets were also affected, with prices of goods skyrocketing as merchants took advantage of the panic and fear.
Some merchants even began hoarding goods, causing shortages and further fuelling the panic.
Overall, the panic and fear caused by the attack at the dragon kingdom threatened to tear apart the human kingdom and it was clear that something needed to be done to restore order and protect the people.
