101 Reasons to Fear the Devil
Dost thou, in melancholy hue, weep so,
Bearing the weight of humanity's woe,
Whilst we shoulder thy burdens,
Under thy heavy, abysmal shadow's flow?
Thou, the source of light's birth, away at night,
Hiding thyself from mortal sight,
Thine joyous rays turned to sorrow's tome,
Draining my joy, leaving me alone.
I abhor thee, oh radiant sky so blue,
Awakening from sleep, grieving thy fate true,
Thou claimeth a heavy heart, yet from heights dost lie,
Reducing me low, despairing that I comply.
Why Doth Thou Weep, O Blue Sky high?
Where hides the light, once seen at night's sky?
Dost thou lament humanity's dire state,
Or awaken to witness this world's tragic fate?
