Sarak and his army were eagerly awaiting the collapse of the dragon kingdom, as they were the ones who had incited Puiteh, a dragon, to become a black dragon.
It was Sarak's advisor who had suggested this plan to him, and who had told Sarak about the necklace that Puiteh wore.
The advisor believed that the necklace held immense power and that with it, they could control Puiteh and use him to bring about the downfall of the dragon kingdom.
FLASHBACK
Sarak sat in his chambers, deep in thought as he contemplated the plan laid out before him by his advisor.
"Are you sure this will work?" Sarak asked, his brow furrowed with doubt.
"Absolutely, my lord," the advisor replied confidently.
"The necklace that Puiteh wears holds immense power. If we can get our hands on it, we can use it to control him and bring about the downfall of the dragon kingdom."
Sarak nodded slowly, a sense of unease creeping over him.
"But how do we get the necklace? Puiteh is a powerful dragon, and she won't give it up easily. And don't forget the sorcerer beside her."
The advisor smiled slyly.
"Leave that to me, my lord. I have a plan to acquire the necklace without Puiteh even realizing it. Trust me, this will work."
Sarak hesitated for a moment longer before nodding in agreement.
"Very well, I trust in your judgement. Let's put this plan into action."
As the advisor left the room, Sarak couldn't shake the feeling that something about this plan felt off.
But he pushed the feeling aside, determined to see this through to the end. He knew that if they were successful, the dragon kingdom would fall and the demon lord will be happy with him.
As they watched from a distance, the army saw Puiteh in his black dragon form, wreaking havoc on the kingdom. Buildings were crumbling, and dragons were fleeing in terror.
Sarak's advisor had been right, the necklace did indeed hold powerful magic, and Puiteh was unstoppable.
The dragon kingdom was in disarray, and the remaining dragons were no match for the black dragon. But it is still not enough to hurt or kill Orin. In rage, Sarak call the army to fall back.
Sarak slammed his fist against the ground in frustration.
"This is not working," he growled.
"Fall back, men!"
The army reluctantly retreated, leaving Orin standing victorious on the battlefield. Sarak's advisor approached him, bowing deeply.
"My lord, I apologize for the failure of the plan," he said.
Sarak glared at him. "You assured me that this necklace would give us the power to defeat the dragon kingdom. What went wrong?"
The advisor hesitated to speak. He was so scare, with this failure Sarak has a reason to kill him.
Sarak gritted his teeth in anger.
"Then we will find another way. We will not rest until they are destroy."
The advisor nodded, knowing that Sarak's determination was unshakable.
A few days later. Orin entered the room where Puiteh was resting. He approached her bedside and gently took her hand in his.
"Puiteh, what happened? Are you okay?" he asked with concern in his voice.
Puiteh opened her eyes and looked up at Orin. She sighed heavily and said,
"I'm not sure what happened. One moment I was fine, and the next I felt like I was about to pass out."
Orin frowned.
"Did you see anything? Hear anything? Was there anything out of the ordinary?"
Puiteh shook her head.
"No, nothing. I just suddenly felt dizzy and then everything went black."
Orin nodded, deep in thought.
"I'll have the healer come and take a look at you. In the meantime, try to rest and see if you can remember anything else."
As Orin stepped out of Puiteh's room, he was immediately confronted by Hiran who was rushing down the hall, a look of worry etched on her face.
"Orin, is my mother okay? What happened to her?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Orin took a deep breath and tried to calm the young dragoness.
"Your mother is resting now. She's going to be fine, I promise," he said, placing a comforting hand on Hiran's shoulder.
The two of them stepped away from the door, moving down the hall to a quieter spot where they could talk.
"What happened to her, Orin? Was it the necklace? Did it do something to her?" Hiran asked, her eyes wide with fear.
Orin sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the situation on his shoulders. He didn't want to worry Hiran, but he knew she needed to know the truth.
"Yes, the necklace was responsible," he said, looking directly into Hiran's eyes.
"Puiteh wore it for too long and it took control of her mind. The power of the necklace was too great for any one dragon to handle, it's dangerous and unstable, and I'm afraid the demon was behind it."
Hiran's face contorted with anger and she spat out a single word, filled with hatred and fury:
"Demon!"
Orin smiled, trying to calm Hiran down.
"For now, we need to be more cautious than ever. We don't know what tricks they'll use next." he said, his voice steady and serious.
Hiran nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"And with the necklace gone, mother is safe, right? She won't turn into that horrified creature again, right Orin?" she asked, her voice trembling with hope.
Orin shook his head, a worried expression on his face.
"The necklace may be gone, but the dark energy still remains within Puiteh. She needs to learn how to control it, so she doesn't become a black dragon again."
Hiran let out a cry of despair and fell to her knees, tears streaming down her face. The thought of losing her mother to the darkness was too much for her to bear.
Orin placed a comforting hand on Hiran's shoulder.
"We will get through this, Hiran. Together. Puiteh is strong, she will learn to control the energy and she will be okay." he said, trying to reassure her.
Hiran looked up at Orin, determination in her eyes.
"I will help her, Orin. I will do everything in my power to bring back my mother." she said, standing up and wiping away her tears.
Orin nodded, a smile on his face.
"That's the spirit, Hiran. We'll face this challenge together, and we'll come out stronger for it." he said, putting his arm around her and leading her away, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
