Zeke's POV
Today is the final meeting I'll have with Del Loona Experience to finalise the deal. If they can't impress me fully, then the deal will be off. I've got no time for incompetence any longer.
I dressed in a dark green three-piece suit, black shoes and a black shirt. With a 24K Cartier watch on my left wrist and designer earrings, I walked out of my house feeling and looking all fly.
Not a narcissist, but I looked goooood. The sound my shoes made as I walked to my car was very comforting, sounded wealthy and expensive, my favourite sounds.
Kai picked up the head of business management, Mr. Felix, and his assistant, Angelina, from Miller Corporation PLC then drove us to Del Loona Experience where he parked in an underground garage. We were led to enter a separate elevator from the one the workers used. It only made one stop, on the top floor.
The CEO and the COO stood before the elevator with their assistants, waiting to receive us.
I for one wasn't impressed by the past meetings and despite the fact that I looked forward to coming here to see her from a distance or something, if they didn't cut it this time, they were out.
We walked into the conference room and sat afterwhich we were served water and cookies before the presenter began talking. I was presented with a report analysis of some sort, which I didn't understand how it was connected to the meeting. I skimmed through it and saw that it was detailed enough without having to just copy the main report, and it had some bulleted points that talked about profit maximisation.
Hmmm. Maybe they were competent enough. Mr Felix began questioning every single thing the presenter mentioned, definitely intimidating the presenter.
The presenter, I think he was called Sean something, answered all the questions but was a bit shaken up, and obviously scared that his answers wouldn't be accepted.
Mr Felix was one of the best in my company, so the fate of this collaboration mostly laid in his hands, I trusted him that much.
Mr Felix nodded at the answers Sean something said, and i could tell it was a good deal.
"Is that all?" I asked playing with a pen on the conference table, not going to let it happen so easily.
"S-sir?" The COO, Mr Johnson, asked.
"Are you done with what you were saying?" I asked, leaving the pen undisturbed.
"Yes sir, that is all we have to say", replied the CEO, Mr Kennedy.
...
Zeke was quiet for what seemed like an eternity, making the authorities of Del Loona Experience tremble in their hearts.
"Okay.....", Zeke's voice trailed.
The authorities of Del Loona Experience sighed in relief and pumped their fists inwardly, giving each other a telepathic Pat on the back.
"But let it be a trial for 2 months, your suggestions are attractive, but not that attractive. Until I'm convinced by whatever plan you have, two months is all you have to make it work. This isn't another chance, the collaboration has begun, don't disappoint me", he continued making their already trembling souls move to the afterlife and back.
Zeke, who was sitting in a very lax position while tapping his feet, got up from his seat, taking the bottled water that was served earlier.
The authorities of Del Loona Experience stood and bowed deeply to show their appreciation for giving them the opportunity.
Zeke's tapping toes ceased and he was out of the door in a flash, letting Mr Felix handle whatever was left.
Kai was with him as he entered the elevator. He craved something sweet, warm and soft, which was extremely weird since he never really craved anything. He normally just ate to maintain his build, or whatever was served. He wasn't picky at all.
He told Kai to stop at the Cafeteria. Kai stared at him like he had grown 71 heads in a millisecond.
"Cafeteria? Sir we can just go to a bakery or cake shop", said Kai in an unbelieving voice.
"No, Just take me there", replied Zeke in a slightly stubborn tone which shocked kai even more.
The elevator stopped on the floor the cafeteria was on, opening with a "ding" sound.
The two men walked into the average-looking cafeteria. Even the one at Miller Corporation PLC, which he complained about, looked like gold compared to this place.
The only appetizing thing about this place was the smell of freshly baked bread, Zeke thought.
He let his nose lead the way as he followed until he stopped at a glass showcase for what read, "bread rolls".
He bought all the bread rolls in the showcase as he had a huge appetite.
The lunch lady acted like a robot programmed to sell the bread rolls effectively.
She handed Zeke a brown paper bag with his bread rolls in it, also adding a special cinnamon mix to make it taste better, and bowed slightly with a professional smile.
"Can we go now?" Kai asked in a frustrated tone, thinking they had spent too much time there.
Zeke nodded and smiled at his bodyguard/ friend.
It seemed like the workers were extremely dedicated to working in an unfortunate place like this, he hadn't seen even one person wander around, which was good as he hated distractions.
The elevator closed and moved downwards to the first floor where all present workers bowed their bodies until it made a ninety degree angle.
They walked out through another door, which led to the underground garage, and were out of the vicinity in a few minutes.

Bentlee's POV
Mr Richard was restless, he looked like he would strangle someone at any moment, so everyone walked on egg shells around him.
My stomach grumbled softly and I caressed it looking tired and hungry. I had to go through the torture of walking past a breakfast shop this morning on an empty stomach, all because I wanted to be early to work.
"It's already lunch time, everyone is just scared to tell Mr Richard, you know, so he won't kill them", said Milan with a chuckle beside me.
I sighed and pressed my palm to my forehead.
An idea popped up in my mind, and i turned slowly, away from Milan but towards Leilani.
Then i smiled at her, so she smiled back.
"Aren't you hungry and tired and need a break?" I asked her.
"You're mostly talking about yourself but yeah, I'm hungry", she replied after a sigh escaped from her lips.
Before I could add any other thing, she got the message.
"Hell no", was all she said before facing forward and continued to highlight some sentences on a report she was given.
"Come on, you're closer to him than the rest of us. He'll listen", I nudged her arm slightly.
She looked around the room and saw that everyone was looking at her with pleading faces and puppy eyes. "Alright, I'll be the hero", she thought inwardly.
After some seconds, "fine", was all she said before rising to her feet. She straightened her shoulders and walked confidently to Mr Richard's office.
After a few minutes, she was out looking solemn as if she was just rejected.
Then she rose her head slowly with a thumbs-up sign and everyone shouted, "YEAH!!!!!".
"What's going on out there?" We heard Mr Richard say.
And before we could be reprimanded, we all fled to the cafeteria.
My heart was beating fast as I raced to the cafeteria, not caring who was watching. My stomach was screaming for help as i rushed there.
All i could hear was "bread rolls" in my head. Remembering the delicious flavour made my stomach grumbled further, but I didn't care since I would be buying them in no time.
