"The answer is bald". Levi declared nonchalantly.
Conrad collapsed on the floor of the mountain top.
He was a goner.
"All the men on the boat had hair except one. That is why when he swam to shore, he didn't get his HAIR wet because he had no hair! Am I right?" He asked.
The Sphinx gave him a long, dark stare and said grimly "Indeed you are correct. The man had no hair .You have gotten the correct answer." It bowed its head and slowly began to disintegrate into the sand that it once was.
Conrad sighed in relief. "Thank you , man. I knew you'd come through." He bowed
in appreciation.
Su ling was surprised." How did you know the answer to the riddle , John?"
"Guess I have a knack for it." He replied " But again, I wasn't really sure of the answer. It was 2 - 98%."
"So you took a gamble on my life! Ah!" Obi rested his head on the table.
Kyra hugged Conrad as he touched her head. "What happened?"He asked Avyanna.
"She had to shave off all her hair as a sacrifice before Levi had the idea that the man in the riddle was bald."
Kyra smiled."It was nothing."
Conrad held her ."It wasn't nothing?. it was something to me.Thank you". He hugged her tighter. "Thank you so much."
"Actually ..."Levi cut in the teary moment "I had an idea of him having no hair, so if Avyanna wasn't acting like a bossy laby , you wouldn't have had to shave your beautiful hair." He told Kyra.
"Wait! So there was a possibility I could have kept my hair!!!" She cried
"It will grow back. "Avyanna reassured and added doubtfully. "Probably...Possibly ...Maybe Never."
"That isn't encouraging ".Kyra bemoaned
"Don't look sad." He whispered seductively . "You look cute without hair."
Kyra felt heat in her cheeks and felt her head spin.
"Alright you two...We better get going." Avyanna helped Kyra up.
"Where to?" Conrad asked.
Avyanna stared at the distant horizon.
"Guess we will have to find out." She winked .
