Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Alone and with no support.

Reece was heading to his room but something got his attention.He was in the corridor and on the left side on the end side of the corridor, their was girl with blue eyes and red hair,her hair reached her shoulder ,she was wearing a school uniform,the uniform looked like it wasn't washed for a week.She was beautiful and looked cute because of her hair , but she looked confused and looked worried,then a guard came and she followed him.Reece thought something is wrong so he also followed them.After a while, he reached the place where his room was and what he saw was weird they entered his room.Reece went straight to his room and saw another bed on the opposite side of his bed.The guard and the girl saw Reece and then the guard explained everything to him After that he left.The guard said that the girl's name was Lia Sanderson,she was found injured and unconscious so they brought her back,gave medical aid,when she was awake, General Gorge ordered them to place a bed in Reece's room and ask him if he had a problem to share a room ,she was new and she told them that her family had been killed in the early days of apocalypse,so she was alone and didn't have anyone with her.Reece after thinking for a second allowed her to stay.He didn't have a problem with her or anyone.So after the guard left, Reece introduced himself to her and she did the same, she replied to him politely and told her about her family while weeping her tears.Reece comforted her and gave her some water.It was lunch time so he invited her to have lunch with him, she was hungry so she accepted with a smile.Reece noticed she looked cute when smiling.After the lunch they had some usual talk it was 9:30 pm now so they both slept.Lia felt safe with Reece even before he told her and showed her some of his powers.That day, Reece started to like her.
