Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: A giant zombie worm.

After Reece left the village with a half human and half demon girl, as an ally she promised him to help him reach the demon lord Gatholac. The sun was setting and they need a place to spend the night. Well the girl need to rest after walking for 20 kilometers. They found a suitable house in another village, it was in good shape luckily because the other houses were destroyed. Blood spots can be seen in their gates and their windows were broken. Reece scanned the house and there was no one inside. They found some food and ate a little. After a while they slept soundly. The next day, they were passing throw Wormingo village, it was one of the biggest villages they saw. Reece thought about it's name, it has a weird name. Suddenly, the ground began to shake and a snake like thing can be seen crawling out of it. It was a giant worm, it's face was covered with blood and meat. It sensed that someone was walking this way. As it knew were did the waves traveled through the earth and sensed it's prey. It had a big really big mouth. It crawled back inside ground and disappeared but Reece got it just in time and flew up in sky with the girl in his hands. The worm came out exactly where they were standing. Reece landed on a house and told Ana to wait for him. The worm crawled back inside. Reece followed him through the giant hole it made. Soon he reached a place which looked like an underground tunnel. He lost the worm but followed it's trail and reached a spot which looked like to be it's nest. The worm suddenly came out of nowhere and attacked Reece with it's tail throwing him a few meters away. Reece was surprised by the sudden attack. The monster was much more stronger than those zombie giants. Reece got up and attacked the monster with heat-vision cutting a little half of its tail. The worm growled in anger and swallowed Reece instantly before he could make another move but Reece planned this all along. He started to break it's jaw and teeth. After a couple of minutes, the worm died because of excessive blood loss. Reece came back to its nest and saw eggs they were big in size like a cow. Reece then broke it's eggs one by one using his heat-vision. He didn't want a danger like this to be lurking out. Now he knew the reason why this village was named Wormingo. It was because of that giant worm. The worm had mutated somehow which means there will be more mutated animals. After that, he returned to the place where he left Ana she was happy to see him. Reece told him that he killed the monster. Then both of them started to move to another location.
