Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: A hunt for supplies and a new survivor.

Reece and Lia were having a talk when a guard came knocked at the door they told him to come him after that he told them that General Gorge want him in his office it's important.Reece reached their in a second and after he entered the office Gorge was sitting on the chair he waved Reece to sit and then spoke.Reece we have a problem,well we got low on supplies suddenly because last night at about 2 am some people invaded the base and stole 60 percent of supplies.The problem is that we need someone strong enough to find a market or mall and get food.Reece accepted offer before Gorge could finish.After that he was going to his room to tell Lia about it and ask if she wants to come.Lia was afraid at thinking about going out but she knew Reece wouldn't let anything hurt her so she decided to came along.After they left the base a few hundred meters they Reece held Lia in bridal style and started to fly really fast.After a while Reece saw a mall and scanned the area with the help of x-ray vision, there were zombies almost everywhere so killed them one by one in a few minutes and came back to Lia who was looking the scene carefully.They first went to the basement and luckily found canned food it was greater in amount for about 4 months.Reece also a sword it was an original sword and it's blade was shining saying, to cut everything it touches.He gave the sword to Lia and told her to wait until he transports them to the base.Lia were hesitated but when she Reece working on an extremely high speed she couldn't afford to neglected because in a few seconds he's here and there after a few short minutes.The 4 months supply of food which could be thousands in quantity were transferred to the base.Reece took Lia's hand and went to a clothes shop and told Lia to change her outfit.She nodded and Reece waited for her outside.She blushed when she thought about Reece's x-ray vision through which he can see through wall,metal objects and cloths.Buy she just shrugged it.She new Reece was a good guy and he won't do that kind thing.When she came out,she blushed but hid face because Reece was eyeing her from foot to head.Reece noticed that and blushed a little.He then openly said that she looked cute in that outfit.Lia blushed,she was wearing a black sleeveless shirt a black skirt that reached a half of her legs, black socks and black shoes.She thanked him and then they went to the second floor but found nothing the goes for the third, fourth and fifth floor.All the they were exploring the Mall,Lia didn't let go of Reece's hand because she was still afraid of the surroundings that were covered with blood and corpses of innocence people,even kids were torn apart.Suddenly they heard a sound it was not a zombie's growling, it was something else. Following the source of the sound they reached a room it was a staff room where the staff used to put the cleaning tools and repairing tools Reece opened the door and what he saw made him sign.It was little girl with a teddy bear.She looked afraid,Lia went near her and politely asked her name,she was trembling but told them her name which was Nancy she was cute little girl with messy hair and a little tattered clothes,she could speak but only a little,she was 1 year and 2 months old.Reece calculated her age after seeing her DNA and blood pressure and was shocked to see a little babygirl survive. He didn't know where her parents were but he could only hope that their safe. Lia was also 18 years old just a few months little than Reece.Then they made it clear that they will take care of her until they find her parents.After that they reached the base and told Gorge about the situation and he also agreed and gave a lolipop to the girl.Lia's bed was wider than Reece's so she decided to let her sleep with her.At night time when everyone was sleeping Nancy felt hungry she didn't have teeth to chew anything and they even luckily found a feeder bottle with formula milk for kids.So she gave it to her and she started drinking the milk.So after a few minutes ,she slept peaceful.Lia removed it from her mouth and soon she slept too.
