Sean frowned as he pursed his lips. "So, why are you wearing that high?"
Anna let out a soft giggle as she replied, "Because you know.... I am short".
Sean slightly smiled with a twinkle in his eyes that disappeared almost immediately.
"But that's your charm!." With that, he immediately walked in front of her.
Anna tried to suppress the peculiar feeling within her as she thought, I'm just coming to make clear with him. She clutched her purse tightly, straightened her back and said, "Mr Wesley. I am sorry."
Hearing upon that Sean turned his head. "What do you mean?".
Anna fell silent for a while before she spoke in a calm tone, "Mr Wesley, I'll be quite busy from tomorrow. I have numerous things to look over before I head back to university. Also, I've already purchased a ticket. That's my situation."
"Ahh..." Sean opened his mouth with a tinge of hesitation in his eyes. "What about Museum? Don't you ask me to visit with you one day?." Sean is waiting for Anna's response. The truth is, he is pretty nervous.
After a pause, Anna replied, "I am sorry."
There was a flicker in his eyes, but he said nothing.
With a weak smile, Anna said, "Thank you for the dinner."
Watching Anna disappear from his sight felt like a fraction of his heart escaping from his chest.

"Are you okay? Why did you get easily sick these days?" Sasha asked worriedly over the phone.
"I am sorry, Sasha." Jennifer sounded weak.
"Don't worry about me. Just rest nicely." Sasha said before she hung up the call.
Sasha and Jennifer plan to watch a movie. But Jennifer suddenly couldn't come because she had a stomach ache.
Sasha rises from her seat, pacing while biting her lower lip in confusion. She chooses to come inside and watched alone.
Five minutes is about to begin. Inside is still bright, so Sasha can see everyone sitting almost in pairs.
"Ryan Shore?" Sasha gasped when she saw the face of the man beside her. "What are you doing here?" Sasha asked in a slightly loud voice.
"I came to watch a movie," Ryan said casually without even a slight change in his expression.
"Be quiet! Everyone is looking at us." Ryan added.
"How...?" Sasha's head was filled with questions. But she sat straight without saying a word.
"Darling, I want to drink coffee".
Ryan caught sight of a couple seated near Sasha.
Instinctively, Ryan went off and got the largest popcorn box and two coffee.
"Want some?" Ryan pushed the popcorn bucket towards Sasha.
"Thank you" Sasha took a few popcorns and tossed them into her mouth. The movie started shortly after. Sasha had a horrified expression on her face as she stared at the woman in white who had just appeared on the screen.
She covered her face with her palms. Watch only by looking from the sidelines of a loose finger for not daring. It didn't help that the movie sound effects helped to amplify the scary ambience and Sasha was already starting to break out in cold sweat.
"Aren't you scared?." She turned to look at Ryan, who was expressionless and sitting upright.
Ryan replied, "What's there to be scared of?."
"Yes....." Sasha awkwardly took the coffee by her hand and sipped it. When she returned the coffee to its original position, she suddenly felt a stare from Ryan.
"What's wrong?" She asked in puzzlement.
Ryan calmly replied, "Nothing, but the coffee that you drank is mine."
"What?" Sasha gasped loudly.
The audience who were not far from their seats immediately turned their heads at her. They were annoyed by the girl's voice. Sasha only smiled as she apologized by waving her hand.
Ryan remained calm as he automatically took the food and drinks from Sasha. She was rooted to her spot at that instant. She felt as if her head had exploded and she started screaming inwardly, H-He's taking that cup of coffee and sipping it as if nothing had happened? But I drank that before!
Sasha fidgeted in her seat and shifted away from him. She reached up to scratch her ears in an attempt to hide the fact that she was blushing. It was an adorable sight.
Finally, the movie ended and they exited the cinema.
"Mr Shore…" A sharp woman's voice chimed in from the side. Ryan stopped in his tracks and looked back.
"Mr Shore, Are you rejecting me because of this woman?" The woman froze at the sight of Sasha.
Sasha had barely taken a step when Ryan pulled her by the hand. When Ryan grabbed Sasha's hand as he walked towards the parking, her soft and tender hand made him tighten his hand involuntarily.
"Ryan… " Seeing that they had reached the car, Sasha struggled against his grip awkwardly and she wanted to take back her hand.
Following her gaze, he saw that he had been holding her hand and with narrowed eyes, he slowly let her go.
