"What's wrong? Is there something wrong with his wound?" Kelvin panicked as the doctor stayed silent for way too long.
"Nothing serious. He'll only have to recuperate for a few months." The doctor assured him.
After the doctor left, Ryan shot Kelvin a look.
"Okay. Here!" Kelvin handed a file to Ryan.
"Her name is Sasha Jones. She went to the same high school as Jennifer. Yes... She is close to Jennifer."
Ryan opened the file and pulled out the documents. He took the photo from Kelvin. The young woman depicted in the photo had an unforgettable face. She was young, lively, and gorgeous.
Kelvin then headed to Sasha's school. When he found Sasha, the latter was having coffee in a small cafe. She politely greeted him when she noticed Kelvin.
Coming to her, Kelvin greeted back. "Hello, Sasha. I am Kelvin, Jennifer's brother." He sat in front of Sasha.
"I know" Sasha replied. She scratched her nose awkwardly.
Kelvin paused for a short while and spoke slowly, "Thank you for saving Ryan last night".
"Welcome...Is he okay?" Sasha asked worriedly.
"Thankfully, he is fine" Kelvin replied. "Please! Take it." Kelvin said while handing a paper to Sasha. The paper contained a check for cash.
"No, no, I'm fine." Sasha swiftly waved a dismissive hand before saying, "I appreciate your gestures but I wouldn't take it."
Meanwhile, Kelvin shook his head and said "My heart will feel heavy if you don't take it. Please take it."
Sasha reluctantly reaches out to receive the check.
With impatience brimming in his gaze, Kelvin asked, "Sasha, Can you do me a favour?"
His expression was quite solemn. "Can you please keep it to yourself that Ryan Shore got injured and you save him?."

It was 11.00 PM and Anna was lying on her bed after taking a shower. She was about to listen to music before going to bed when her phone rang.
As if her eyes had a hazy filter and her mind began to blur out, she heard her phone ring. She rubbed her eyes, placing a little force to open her eyes.
"Hello, Ms Stone. I'm Sean Wesley. We went on a blind date the other day. Do you remember me?." A gentle voice came on the other line when she answered the call.
Anna flew her eyes open and sat right.
"Of course I do, Mr Wesley. So, why did you call me all of a sudden? Also, how did you get my number?" Anna asked in confusion.
"Ms Stone, your Aunty gave it to me," Sean replied.
This is unbelievable… What on earth is happening?
"Ms Stone!" Sean called out when Anna became too quiet.
"Yes, Mr Wesley". Anna said.
"Ms Stone, Do you have time tomorrow?" Sean asked.
"Yes..... But why?" Anna asked quietly.
"Then let's meet up tomorrow. All right, I'll text you the details in a bit." Sean abruptly hung up the phone. He did not give Anna any room to refuse.
"What is this man?" Anna froze in shock for a brief moment before she quickly call Daina.
"Hey! Sean Wesley wants to meet me again," Anna told as soon as Diana pick up her phone.
"What...?". Anna heard a loud squeal prompting her to withdraw her phone from her ears.
"Would you stop screaming?" Anna chided in frustration.
"Okay. Did you replied him 'Yes'?" Daina's interest was piqued.
"Yes... My mind froze at that moment.... "
"Good luck!" Daina hung up right away without saying another word to Anna.
"Unbelievable! She hung the phone!" Anna felt like crying. She helplessly lay on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.

It was already 9:00 PM when Sean arrived at Jazz restaurant. He waits for Anna on the second floor at the seat by the window.
20 minutes later, Anna showed up. Her long hair hung loose over her shoulders, making her look as intelligent and poised as a capable elite woman.
"Sorry to have kept you waiting," Anna said in guilty as she sat down in front of him.
Sean straightened up saying, "No worries. It's only natural that men wait for women, after all."
When the waiter brought them the menu, Sean passed it directly to Anna.
Anna closed the menu and passed it back to Sean. "Please order whatever Mr Wesley likes. I eat anything. I'm not that particular with food".
Sean then ordered cautiously. When the waiter serves the dishes Sean muttered. "This is one of my favourite restaurants. Their chef is really good and was even featured in a previous issue of Guide".
Anna nodded her head quietly.
After dinner, Sean suggested a walk. Anna had wanted to refuse his request at first but agreed to it in the end as she couldn't find any reason to turn him down.
"Are your legs fine?" Sean slightly arched his good-looking eyebrows.
"Hmm..?" Anna lifted her head and looked at him in confusion.
"Heels?" Sean pointedly raised his chin.
"I am used to it" Anna tore a thin smile.
