Sol stood as he gazed at the carriage leaving the sixth tribe castle. His eyes seemed conflicted but he didn't dare show his emotions. The Ƙhai'k remained on one knee with his eyes pinned on the youth's back.
He didn't know why this youth has decided to let the fox spirit leave or why he has even chosen to have her as a subordinate. Unlike Sol, the former sixth tribe chieftain confided in him and told him everything.
"My lord… I know you have our best interest at heart but there is far more to this life than meets the eye. I beseech that you listen to this old man and consider my words" The sixth tribe Ƙhai'k begged and Sol sighed.
The old man keeps proving to be stubborn and normally he would have replaced him but he didn't have any capable replacement at the moment. In fact, he knew the man worried about him greatly and that's why he was this way but that doesn't mean he didn't feel irritated by it.
Huff!
"Didn't my father listen to you? Did you not fail him?" Sol asked with indifference in his tone.
Buzzz!
The sixth tribe Ƙhai'k paled and his eyes widened in shock. He felt like saying something but he didn't know what to say or how to say it.
His gaze shifted to the figure ahead and his eyes pleaded desperately but his mouth refused to open.
"Should you question me again? The sixth tribe will seize to have a Ƙhai'k" Sol said as he slowly turned to meet the gaze of the old man.
The robes on his flutter wildly as his words were like the word of God that cannot be defied.
"Understood" The Ƙahi'k let out a defeated sigh and lowered his head.
...….
Creak!
The carriage bearing the sixth family banner moved. Sol looked out the window with a bored look on his face. For the past month, he has been with Natasha turned out to be a very interesting person. While a fox spirit like her may have lived for a century at least.
Talking about Natasha, Sol couldn't help but remember the second gift she gave him, or at least tried to.
Herself!
Sol frowned as he thought about it. Seeing a busty fox spirit may be heavenly but at the very least. It's not that he didn't want her, but he couldn't have her now. His body was still weakened due to the blood seal and Sol wasn't someone who would want to give a bad first impression.
With a heavy heart, he could only send her off and regret not having an older body or at least not getting rid of his seal earlier.
His hand reached into his robe and pulled out a red and silver fox mask.
...….
Bang!
The doors swung open as Sol walked in. His eyes seemed indifferent as he looked towards the distance with an indifferent room. In the grand Hall, Sol could see the other heirs and he smiled cruelly.
Hmph!
[Awareness: 10]
Sol's eyes widened as the image of the mighty hellhound loomed around him while his aura washed through the room, causing every heir present to frown!
Buzz!
The temperature in the room dropped drastically and everyone could feel the pressure.
Hmph!
A ferocious aura explodes from the other heirs present. They knew the second stage was about to start and this time it was far more complex than before because it didn't involve only fighters like them.
This next competition will be one will involve everyone so this was a declaration of war even before it starts.
Hahahahahahahahahaha!
Sol's laughter resonated as he walked away, heading directly to his room. He had nothing else to say to them, he simply came to deliver a message to his potential enemies and move on.
"Who the hell does he think he is?" Satori raged but no one else spoke. They just looked in the direction of the stairs in silence.
.......
Sol was just walking up the stairs leading to the third floor when he saw a graceful figure. The petite slightly pale but perfectly proportioned vampire basically hopping downstairs while humming.
Buzz!
As soon as Theresa saw Sol, she froze instantly and lowered her head in shame. Seeing her Sol didn't even bother looking her way as he climbed the stairs and walked past her.
[A/N: All children of the family heads and chieftains are considered heirs. This world uses the rule of the jungle. The position is open for whoever is strong enough to claim it when the time comes. That's why Theresa could be found in the castle]
...…..
Bang!
Sol slammed the door behind him with an indifferent look. He already had Natasha plus his body was too weak for things like this. He had more to do right now so he pushed everything to the back of his mind and walked forward.
On his bed was a parcel containing the rules of the second round and all the details needed.
Sol sat on the bed and read everything he could in silence but after a short while a deep frown appeared on his face.
Competitions like this didn't have rules but this time there was a special rule made especially for him
The use of hellfire is banned from the competition!
Buzz!
Sol frowned as he quickly tore the paper in his hands. His frown deepened as he leaned back and looked toward the direction of the window.
He could see the massive tower which could easily kiss the sky in the distance.
To think they could rebuild this in just a month.
"They know with this power I can attain victory instantly at the final moment… I understand why they did this though. So there is no issue" Sol said with a calm look.
This test was made to be far more crazier than the last one!
The thought of it made Sol shiver with excitement as the rules made it possible for him to come back and become number one.
