At this moment, the fox spirits understood what Sol did. By using the sealed artifact he attracted the leaders of the various families. Without the mask, he was thrown into a weakened state and his balance was off. They easily injured him surely, making the scene even more believable!
They have been played!
The kid wasn't just a hellhound, he was a sly Fox!
The four leaders looked at the fox spirits with great hostility and without any hesitation, they all lunged forward like ferocious beasts. Even if they didn't like Sol, he was still a member of Hallow mountain and he had proved his loyalty today by the scene they saw. If he is willing to lay down his life for Hallow mountain had no reason to entertain any animosity directed at him.
Unknown to these people, while they attacked ferociously, Sol watched with a cruel smile on his face.
"Checkmate" Sol muttered with a mischievous smile.
......…
Soon the news of what happened spread and everyone became on guard. Many from various tribes and families began visiting the infirmary to see the badly hurt sixth tribe leader.
According to the reports released to the public, they suspect there is a fox queen of another tribe hiding within the academy. These people believe only a being of such power could put Sol in that condition while the others took advantage and hurt him.
These leaders suspected the queen ran the moment it sensed them, leaving the rest to die.
In the end, everything worked out as planned and he gained the approval of many. They simply saw it as a young chieftain, staying true to his duties and responsibilities.
Clank!
The door slowly opened and Aditi of the fifth tribe walked in with Cecile and a few other heirs. She had some flowers in her hand and they were stunned the moment they entered the room.
Sol was seated on the bed in a cross-legged position with his eyes shut tight. His body was covered in scars gotten from the almost failed awakening rite. His body dey was ripped with lean muscles bulging everywhere and they could see the black tattoos which looked like chains.
Crank!
The more Sol's muscle got flexed the more the black chains would let out a bright red glow and tighten.
"This won't be able to hold me for long" Sol slowly opened his eyes and his muscles relaxed.
He was simply testing the power of the seal and he was happy to know it was weakening. Even if it was little by little it meant he could still break it.
All he needed was more experience points….
"Hey…" Aditi blushed and dared not look Sol in the eyes.
In the beginning, she didn't like or hate Sol. She was indifferent about him but from the awakening rites till now, this person who was once a cripple kept giving them one surprise after the other.
It was obvious he would reach places if things continue this way.
Just like her, the others were inquisitive. Their eyes were pinned on Sol as they all wished to ask him the same question.
"Yo! We heard you were hurt by a fox queen?" Ranga pushed his way through the small crowd and made his way toward Sol.
Unlike the rest, his werewolf instincts made him sympathize with Sol who was a hellhound. It felt like he was looking at a brother from another mother.
A far more terrifying mother…..
"I couldn't tell if it was male or female, the person had a mask on" Sol replied nonchalantly.
He had already expected this and decided that since he is unable to directly show his fox spirit powers or link to the fox tribes, he could create another identity and use it to do his dirty job.
Sol's eyes shifted from Ranga to the wall beside the door. He frowned lightly and a light wave of fire burned around him and vanished almost instantly.
"If you wish to ask me questions, you can come yourselves, or have the leaders of Hallow mountain become cowards that don't dare face a child?" Sol's words were ruthless and his eyes icy.
Huff!
A heavy sigh could be heard as the empty space around that area seemed to gain form and four figures could be seen.
"How did you know we were here?" Tulic Vlad asked as he casually walked forward, leaving his colleagues behind.
His opinion of Sol kept getting better in a bad way. The more capable this kid is, the more he felt disturbed and he didn't know why.
"I came in contact with a fox queen and a group of fox spirits yet the leaders of Hallow mountain are yet to ask a question…. Yet I have received so many visitors and they keep asking the same thing as if they are searching for a different answer… even a monkey can tell what's going on!" Sol said coldly as he gently descended from his bed and shoved his hands into his pockets before taking a few steps forward.
Swoosh!
Soon Sol stood face to face with Tulic Vlad, the man responsible for the immortal blood-scattering seal.
"You wish to break the seal?" Tulic Vlad ignored Sol's response and asked the question bothering him.
"I do not wish to… I will break this seal" Sol fearlessly responded with his eyes digging deep into that of the enemy. He refused his intentions from people who have no means of stopping them.
"Why do you wish to break the seal?" Tulic asked with a cruel look in his eyes.
The atmosphere was already so tense that the other heirs didn't dare breathe loudly. Sol was the only one who has been able to actively and openly oppose the leaders of this world.
"If you are here to ask stupid questions then leave… If you feel this question is not dumb then have them place the seal on yourself and tell me if you are willing to leave it there" Sol practically hissed those words as he was almost overwhelmed by anger.
