Sol stood with a clear look on his face as he casually raised his hand and as he parted his lips to say some words, steam could be seen escaping from it
Hak!
[Awareness: 10]
Boom!
.....
Satori was walking up the stairs with Aditi of the Ark family but just before there were about to step on that floor a fierce torrent of flame flooded the corridor forcing them to retreat!
Bang!
Thud!
They watched with surprised looks as Cecile Vlad flew back and landed on his feet, sliding back a few meters before stopping. His clothes were burning in some parts and his body released hot steam. His cold eyes were fixated on Sol who stood with an indifferent look on his face.
His palm had smoke surging from it lightly as he looked at the enemy as if he were looking at an idiot.
Ha!
At that moment Theresa woke up and saw the confrontation between the two. She quickly paled and sprang to her feet, running past Sol towards her brother with a worried look on her face.
"I'm sorry brother, it's not what you think… he has nothing to do with this, I just decided to sleep here" Theresa screamed.
Even without being told what was happening, she could understand why Cecile and Sol would end up in this situation.
Hearing her words, Cecile's frown deepened but that was all. He had nothing else to say. His eyes shifted to Theresa before shifting back to the unmoving Sol who stood motionlessly with his clothes fluttering wildly in the wind.
"If you come at me again, I'll kill you," Sol said indifferently before turning and walking away, letting his robes flutter in the wind while he moved.
This was a large castle so they have about three stairs leading downstairs. Sol decide not to take the same route as the rest and took an empty stair and vanished.
Soon the entire hallway was filled with the heirs of the various families and tribes as they came to see what happened. Seeing Cecile Vlad on one knee while looking toward a certain direction made them pale with fear.
Cecile was no normal being. Amongst the heirs, he was considered to be amongst one of the strongest. Seeing him in this condition because of a kid made them feel restless.
Sol is growing too fast!
Could this be the side effect of the immortal blood shattering seal?
The same thoughts ran through their mind as they looked in the direction of the youth who couldn't hold a candle against them.
"He must have some secret" Satori said with a frown.
Even though he couldn't see with his eyes, he could see clearer than anyone here. Sol's growth far surpassed what others can see. If they knew how strong he has really become in a short space of time they would be flabbergasted.
"Or he could just be a genius and you guys just can't deal with that fact," Ranga Greyfang said indifferently as he turned and left.
Other members of the Ark tribes looked towards Sol's direction with hints of respect in their eyes.
Soon the crowd dispersed, leaving Cecile and Theresa alone.
...…
Sol left without bothering with what happened. He didn't seem to care about what these other people thought about him, he had better things to bother about.
As soon as he left the castle he boarded a carriage and began moving towards the direction of that bar where he once sensed the presence of these fox spirits.
After sleeping through the night with this thought in his mind, Sol decided to give this a try.
Knowing an enemy is welding a blade and doing nothing about it is akin to suicide….
He knew something big was about to happen here, but he wasn't sure about how it might happen or where it would happen.
With zero information, how can he prepare for what is to come?
Sol's eyes chilled as the carriage stopped at the front of the bar but this time he couldn't sense the presence of the fox spirits.
Huff!
Sol exhaled as he half expected him. He carried the will of the firefox queen in him and the Firefox clan sealed artifacts. Even if no one else in the Hallow mountain can sense it on him or see the invisible fox-shaped tattoo on his body which he gained after he acquired the fox Queens will, he was sure the other fox spirits from the various fox tribes will be able to detect his presence.
He was famous for his achievements and practically everyone knew him, both friend and foe.
He guessed when he came here the first time, even though he entered the building they were able to notice him and now they have moved their base of operation.
Hmph!
Sol snorted with a stern look on his face as he inwardly admitted he suspected this would happen. He wished he could tell the family heads but they were all enemies and would consider him suspicious and dangerous if they discover the fox will in him.
"As expected," Sol said indifferently as he shot the building one last glance before asking the coachman to keep moving.
At the back of his mind, he considered this possibility and already had a plan B in place. As a businessman who reached the peak of his old world, it would be considered blasphemy if one should say he never has a backup plan.
Sol has been through a lot of things in his past life, and dumb is not one of them. If they think they have what it takes to outsmart him then he is willing to play this game with them.
If it is a game of chess he is confident in his skills.
"Since I have no means of drawing you out, I will draw them out instead!" Sol said with a cruel look in his eyes as he looked toward the direction of the mighty tower in the distance where the family heads reside.
