Flap
Everyone watched the back of the youth vanish into the distance with restless looks in their eyes. They were aware Sol would be an issue but none ever expected him to use the entire sixth tribe as his hostage. Due to their desperation for a new leader, now they have seen hope in Sol, and they are willing to go to the depths of hell for him. With that in mind, Sol doesn't hesitate to use this advantage.
"That Kid is something," Odin Greyfang said with a stern look. He originally felt the urge to defend the sixth tribe but now he feels like it's Hallow mountain that needs to be defended from that kid.
"He knows what he has, and he isn't afraid to use it. That tiger has birthed a dragon" Madeline said with a sigh as the image of the invincible sixth chieftain appeared in her mind.
The entire room was silent as they didn't know how to deal with this child. They cannot publicly charge him with treason since he is the reason Hallow mountain is still standing.
He has proven his loyalty and no one would dare question it until he shows otherwise. So who would mind him keeping a fox spirit by his side as his subordinate?
Right now all they could do is sit back and observe
.....
Sounds of footsteps rang across the lonely hall as three figures walked in silence.
"I completely believe in this young master but I too do not approve of the little fox you have decided to keep as a pet," Ƙahi'k said with a frown as he harbored some animosity towards that race.
Natasha simply ignored him and kept gazing at Sol strangely. Ever since he returned from his conquest to kill the fox queen, he carried her aura around. It was invisible to others but to her and other fox spirits, they felt the urge to submit to him.
They trusted him more…
She asked him about this once but Sol said nothing. He hasn't spoken about it since then.
"Not pet but a subordinate, just like you," Sol said indifferently, making the Ƙahi'k frown a bit.
To think Sol would put him on the same level as a mere fox spirit.
"In the end, you all are pawns in my hands. If we are to win against the danger that drove my father and the fox queen to their deaths, then you need to trust me more and question me less" Sol's voice was cold and detached. It felt like he didn't care about their opinion, all he needed from them was loyalty.
"While you are away I will return to what's left of our tribe. I need to find out the reason for all that happened. I need to know what went wrong and how it went wrong" Natasha said with her face lowered and her voice buried under her breath.
Sol shot her a casual glance and saw her nails buried into her bleeding palm. He could feel her anger, her anxiety, confusion…
All her emotions kept pouring in which made him shocked. For some reason, he seemed to understand these beasts better. But this made him wonder what kind of system this is.
Was it really the fox queen that gave over her will and power to him or did the system forcefully steal it?
Huff!
If he could get these answers life would have become considerably easier for him. But since it's not something he can control, he just has to live with it.
"Do whatever you wish. Report to me when you think it's necessary but remember. I practically represent your queen now. I wish to protect my people. It won't be wise to keep things from me" Sol gave a stern warning which made Natasha stop moving.
Thud!
Sol stopped and turned to look at the sexy fox spirit behind him. His eyes were stern but his lips revealed how calm he is. He turned his attention to the ƙahi'k and sighed before speaking.
"Go ahead…" Sol ordered and the Ƙhai'k hesitated for a while but bowed and began walking away.
After a few seconds when he was finally far enough, Sol looked into Natasha's eyes and he spoke.
"I understand how you feel…. I can feel it and you know it. The connection is there. I am your most powerful ally right now" Sol said in a calm and confident tone.
"I know and because of that, I want… I want you to marry me…." Natasha said with a reddened face which made Sol frown.
What kind of bullshit is going through the girl's mind?
"Explain," Sol said indifferently.
"The fox queen was my sister… I was the one meant to inherit her will and become the queen of my tribe. By taking her will, you have taken my place. The next best thing is to become the wife of the fox king" Natasha said in a low tone and Sol frowned.
Logically, she was making sense and as a businessman, he had no reason to push her offer off the table yet.
"You get to become queen and not just that. The demise of your clan must have been known by the other fox clans. Marrying me is also a way to shield your weak clan. Your husband is the sixth tribe chieftain of the Ark family. A hellhound and a nine-tailed fox beast…. I think I'm giving you a lot now…. I believe it's time for you to give me something in return" Sol said in a cold tone.
Surprisingly Natasha didn't show many reactions to this since she had been expecting it. Sol mentally took note of this but didn't comment.
"I will be giving you the Fox spirit Fire tribe sealed artifact which should be rightfully yours as the fox king" Natasha fell to one knee as she pulled out a strange white and red fox mask and passed it over to Sol.
Even without touching it, Sol could already feel the immense power residing within that mask.
No!
Buzz!
Sol felt like an invisible force was pulling him toward the mask. It seemed like the mask had a mind of its own and quickly created a mental link with Sol.
Ding!
[Fox Spirit Fire tribe sealed artifact: Katon-Masuku acquired]

Huff!
Seeing this Sol's eyes shone with greed as he exhaled loudly.
