After a little over two minutes of walking Julius finally reached the dining room, the Greengrass Manor was magically expanded to the point where long times of walking were needed for everyone not able to apparate.
'At first glance this seems to be like an unnecessary risk but with the existence of bloodlines there is probably some sort of enchantment making only those of the Greengrass family able to do this here. Well anyway for now I won't be able to use apparition anyway and even though I really want to I can't experiment with something like this, what if I splinch?'
After he reached his destination he the big and heavy-looking door swung open by itself, revealing a big hall ,held in the blue and white colours of the Greengrass family, making the table big enough for more than 10 people seem tiny in comparison.

Surprisingly instead of the expected two, three people were sitting at the table, additionally to his father, now coldly staring at him and his mother quietly continuing her breakfast there was also an elegant and calm-looking middle aged man.
After Julius entered the room his father waved him to the table impatiently while turning to the other man.
"This is my son Julius", then looking back at Julius he spoke again,"this is Marcus Rosier, mister Rosier for you. He will help you with your occlumency for now, you will start after breakfast."
'Finally! This really was the best timing to get my memories, right? What if he sees the memories of my past live? This IS a bit concerning and it gets worse the longer I think about it.'
While experiencing this emotional rollercoaster Julius still acted calm on the outside:
"I'm honoured to meet the heir of the noble Rosier family."
The Rosier family was a relatively infamous pureblood family as they made a name for themselves following not one but both of the dark lords the 20th century had birthed. But in stark contrast to the Black family which lost everything, or most other pureblood families involving themselves in politics to escape the fate of inprisonment in Azkaban, they lived very isolated since the end of the second wizard war only maintaining contact with the other former followers of the last dark lord while sending their children to Hogwarts where all of them entered the house of Slytherin. Even till now it was not known how the Rosier family was able to escape their fate, giving birth to many conspiracy theories claiming even the old family head of the Rosiers had used the imperius curse on the minister himself.
After being greeted Marcus Rosier looked up and nodded briefly before turning to his food again.
'Surprisingly informal for a pureblood family such as the Rosiers', thought Julius while finally sitting down to, only now noticing how hungry he was.
'Probably the curse? I shouldn't be this hungry I had a big dinner yesterday after all. I should really try to get my hand on blood magic… wait! The Rosier family should have one of the biggest collections about dark magic in magical Britain, apart from the Black family, which was my original plan, and maybe some other pureblood families it should even be the biggest one. I need to at least try and take this chance at some time during our training.'
Aside from Julius' scheming the rest of the breakfast went by in completely uneventful silence as not one of the four eating persons seemed to have any desire for a friendly or even just polite conversation.
(Did someone else already completely forget about his mother? Though I wrote this over two days so it's a bit less concerning for me to forget what I wrote just a few hundred words before this)
After finishing breakfast Florian and Adorabella Greengrass left the room, leaving only Julius and Marcus Rosier. After around half a minute of awkward silence Marcus Rosier finally spoke.
"Do you know someplace we can train undisturbed?"
After a bit of pondering about the question Julius decided to just ask his teacher, after all he should be able to further clarify the requirements.
"Does it have to be completely undisturbed? If so I would suggest a guest room if you're okay with it. But I also think the pavilion in the garden should be quite peaceful with almost no one ever going there aside from the house elves for cleaning."
"The pavilion should be alright, lead the way."
After the walk to the garden had been completely silent for a bit, Marcus finally started speaking:
"I will only help you build your mental defences, nothing more, nothing less. And just so you know I already signed a magic contract with your father. I will not dig through your memories but just your current surface thoughts."
Inwardly sighing in relief Julius just nodded concluding their "conversation".
At this moment they also reached the pavilion and sat down facing each other.
"Do you know what to do?"
Marcus seemed unsure how to proceed, the child before him, even though looking to be four years old, acted far more mature than he would have expected. Even from a child of Florian Greengrass.
"I guess you will now read my thoughts and I should try to notice your presence and build some sort of defence. Can you tell me more about the part of building a defence?"
Julius didn't want to make a mistake here as it could affect him very negatively and after all how would he know what aspects of Harry Potter and the fan-fictions was true and what just bullshit?
"Basically yes. And regarding your defense you just have to imagine something you believe can protect you do exactly that. If you don't have any more questions we can start immediately."
"Okay. Let's start then."
As both of them were already sitting opposite each other they could immediately start. As soon as Marcus' gaze became rigid Julius tried to feel his presence inside his head.
'How do I even do that? How do I feel someone inside my mind?'
Only now did Julius notice how he actually had no idea what he should even do. After all what even is the "mind"? Do you just try to find a "dimension" inside you? Or do you feel a physical sensation like a headache or something when someone enters your mind?
'Let's just try my first idea first, after all I would only benefit if I was able to enter the dimension where I will have to put my defences already.'
