Chapter 7 - HIDDEN PROPHECY

She was innocent!

Owen knew that the moment she performed a spell in front of Max her fate was already sealed. Max's hatred for witches wasn't something that would be considered news. Everyone in the whole of Alvania knew what had between the Royal family and the witches. His hatred for witches wasn't unjustified. He had every right to hate them after all....

The both of them stared at the pretty little witch who had fallen unconscious. Maximilian clenched his hands hard as he stared at her face. He was about to take a step towards her when suddenly a dark figure flashed across his eyes. Max's eyes widened when he recognized the figure as the Vampire Prophetess.

She wore a black cloak which covered her face but he could never mistaken this aura. Her aura was gentle but it spoke volumes about the power she possessed. She looked like a really fragile thing when her pulled down the hood of her cloak. Her wavy tussled fiery red her swayed with the wind. Her beautiful sea blue eyes were sharp and held a serious warning in them.

She looked like she could easily be broken but with one glance at her eyes, anyone would be on guard against her. But when he saw the warning in her eyes, his brows creased in confusion. He knew she wasn't joking at the moment but he had no idea what he was being warned of.

"You are not to touch her", her gentle voice said. Her words echoed in his head multiple times before it finally sunk into his consciousness. Why was that? She wasn't anyone important. Was she?

"Our world depends on her living", the Prophetess answered his unasked question. She then turned to look at Olivia and a gentle smile tugged at her lips. Owen who had been silent since she came silent walked to stand beside Max.

"How?" He asked with a raised of a brow.

"I can't divulge anything for now but you will find out in the near future." She said dismissively when they heard a sudden groan. All eyes turned to look at Olivia as her eyes shot open and she sat up with a jolt. She took in a deep breath as if she had been deprived of her much needed air.

The Prophetess smiled gently at her as she took a step towards her. Olivia immediately stood up and unexpectedly she felt wind swirl around her protectively. The Vampire Prophetess stopped in her tracks and raised her hands as a sign of peace. Olivia's eyes narrowed as she stared at her with suspicion.

"I mean you no harm", the Prophetess said with a gentle smile. She took another step forward when lightening struck right between them and all eyes circled round in shock, including Olivia's. The lightening then reformed and turned into a sword which moved on it's own to Olivia.

Olivia held it and pointed it at the Prophetess, her eyes fluctuating from their normal green to a bright silver. All of the vampires at that moment knew that this little witch was not to be trifled with. Olivia stuck the sword into the ground and sat down on the ground, getting into a meditation position. She closed her eyes and then she whispered low chants that made the wind come back with full force. However, this time it was closely chased by gigantic rocks, the giant vines and roots of trees, water which seemed to come from nowhere as well as ice and with all these fire which was not supposed to be possible came.

The vampires had their eyes growing wide in utter shock. They were very sure that this girl wasn't even aware of her own doing.

"IZZY!", Max yelled when he realized this could kill him and endanger his people. "Stop. Right now" he said and almost immediately, everything stopped.

Olivia opened her eyes which had turned silver again but she blinked it away.

"You won't be able to leave", the Prophetess said. Olivia only raised her brow while thinking 'Yeah, I got the memo'.

"She's dangerous." Max stated without caring that Olivia was right in front of him and Owen backed him with a nod of his head.

"You are not to lay a finger on a single strand of hair on her head." The Prophetess stated with finality in her voice.

She then turned to Olivia and said thoughtfully, "If you're okay with it, you can just simply make a deal. You will help the vampdom and when this war finally ends, you can do as you wish." As she spoke, grin spread on her cute face.

Before Olivia could even speak, Max beat her to it.

"What the....No I—". But the Prophetess cut him off.

"I never asked for your opinion" She spoke with an expressionless face.

Olivia almost burst into laughter as she watched his face twitch from irritation.

The Prophetess then turned to her and asked, "so is it a deal?"

Olivia hesitated for a moment before agreeing. It wasn't that she wanted to fight in a war but she knew that she wouldn't be able to escape these people.

The Prophetess left thereafter and the rest of them were left in an awkward silence. An awkward smile pulled at Owen's lips. Olivia and Max however scoffed and walked in opposite directions.

Owen followed Olivia and led her to a room to get her changed out of her outfit. There, he hand her a leather jumpsuit which stretched. It was also very comfortable and when Olivia put it on, it fit like a glove.

It looked.....al....no, very sexy on her.

Olivia run her fingers through her silver hair and smiled at her reflection. Owen's eyes followed her until she was at the door.

"Come now, Prince Owen. We have a battle ahead", Olivia called him. The strong determination that danced in her were enough to convince anyone that she had skills that would surely help them win but he knew this was not the case.

"You seem so confident", he said with a small smile. Olivia paused and then said, "I don't know why but something in me seems to be attracted to the battlefield. This is going to be excited".

He only smiled and with that, they left the room. Both eager to get on the battlefield.
