Day 76 of traveling.
Location: Wall Whither
I've been careful lately, more careful than ever. Traveling around by myself, I've realized, is not the best option. More yokai and demons are afoot. Although with my fighting skills, any weapon I wield or is at hand has no match against me. Even though nothing makes good of it, I've been writing in this journal my father gave me everyday ever since he passed. It's a memory that I will never forget. Therefore, I will continue to fight off any monster that dare's to hurt me again. Before leaving for this city, I went to visit Himo. She is quite old now. I am grateful to have her as my caretaker though. Some demons can be kind. I plan on staying in Whither for a while, just to get some consent around here. It is a pretty large city and there are many demons and many yokai laying in broad daylight around here. I have to keep my hood up so I am not seen. And I don't have a lot of money but I have enough to afford a night at a saloon just to get some sleep. Although the nights will be difficult, that is when yokai are most active. Himo-San told me that you can't trust just anyone, you have to see into their hearts in order to find the good. I have seen more humans by the minute though. They seem to be in a squad or something. I've heard the word yokai hunters or demon hunters come up a couple times. So that could make sense. I'm more or less focused on getting my list done though. I plan on going to a Weaponry shop and to the market. I will probably be writing a lot. -Okami Tadashi
