As soon as morning came, the five companions woke up, packed and continued their journey. Geed looked at Alice as he remembered the vision. Alice saw this and quickly glanced shyly away. During the journey, Geed and Alice remained silent. Diane couldn't take it anymore.
"Okay, what's going on between you two?" she asked.
"I…well…uh" Alice said speechlessly.
"Nothing weird is going on Diane, we're okay" Geed responded.
"O-kay" Diane said.
Soon the forest was behind them and they found themselves in another desert.
"Sheesh, what's with the Deserts? We've already been in two" Taros said angrily.
"I've been in three" Geed said.
As the companions walked on, they noticed a sandstorm approaching.
"We're right in the middle of the Desert. Going back is not an option" Elaine said.
Slowly, the sand began to fuse together till an outline was formed, the outline of Kane!
"Your journey ends here, Magi" Kane said.
"Out of the way Kane!" Geed yelled.
"You insolent brat!" Kane said and attempted to pound Geed while in the form of a gigantic Sand Monster.
Geed somersaulted out of the way.
"Ha! Was that your best shot Kane?! Gee, I don't know why but I expected my archenemy to be a lot worse. You're below pathetic!" Geed laughed.
"You fool!" Kane said in an attempt to pound Geed again.
Geed glided smoothly out of the way.
"Geed, I don't think you should be provoking him" Alice warned.
"This guy's nothing. My father was much worse" Geed said in sarcasm.
Geed quickly evaded the attack.
"What? Your father?!" Alice asked.
Damian sliced with Wind but the Sand kept regenerating. Diane attempted flattening Kane but it wasn't working either. The Sand was too flexible. Elaine's Water Attacks were most effective. Combining them with Alice's Fire Attacks caked the Sand Monster. In a fury, Kane aimed a blow at Alice. Geed quickly pushed Alice out of the way only to end up being smashed himself.
"Geed!" Alice yelled stopping her attack.
Just as things were about to get worse. A flash of light teleported them from the Desert.
The darkness stayed in Geed's head for a while. Finally, Geed opened his eyes and found himself in a Golden Coloured Temple. Some monks were looking down at him.
"Hey" Alice greeted.
"Hi Alice" Geed responded.
"Back then, thanks for saving me" Alice said.
"You're welcome" Geed said.
The monks stared closely at Geed.
"He's very unstable. The seal keeps coming loose, unleashing his terrible powers" one monk said.
"Rise up Geed, son of Darkmanner" a monk said.
"You must learn to control the Seal Of Five Points. Are you ready?" a monk asked.
"Who are you?" Geed asked.
"I am Kishon, son of Karn and Trish, I will be your new master" Kishon said. "Come with me, if you want to learn the secrets of the Ancient Magi" Kishon said.
Geed followed Kishon to a secret part of the Temple. There was an emblem of the Star on the ground.
"Sit" Kishon ordered.
Geed sat on the emblem.
"Tell me everything you know about the Five Point Star" Kishon instructed.
"Earth, Water, Wind, Fire, Dark, Light. Six elements balanced together in perfect harmony. Continuously rotating around the Sun, the Crystal Of Destiny" Geed said peacefully.
"Geed, go on" Kishon instructed.
"All was well until Dark betrayed the balance and Darkmanner, my father sought to rule all the elements. However, in a deadly battle of elemental display, Gideon seals Darkmanner with the Five Point Seal. Darkmanner awaits to return and guide the world to destruction" Geed said.
Suddenly, an image of Gideon battling Darkmanner flashed in Geed's mind.
"No way! I saw it! Romanus is Gideon!" Geed exclaimed.
"You've recovered a hidden memory. You are closer" Kishon said. "This realm of Light was created by Gideon. It's yours" Kishon said.
"Wow Geed! You never told us that you had a realm" Diane said.
"I only just found out. I can't believe that as a Magi, Romanus told me nothing of the Magi, nor the Chronicles. I know he knew I'd face Darkmanner someday so why the lies and deceit?" Geed asked.
"I don't think that Romanus meant to lie. I believe he was trying to protect you" Alice said.
"I don't know what to believe" Geed said.
"Come with me, I need to tell you something" Alice said.
So Geed and Alice went to the highest point of the Temple.
"What is it?" Geed asked.
"I'm sorry for not telling you earlier Geed, I never meant to hurt you. Romanus did fall, but I didn't see him die" Alice confessed.
