"Geed, what do you know of the location of the Gems?" King Aerobis asked Geed one day.
"According to the Chronicles Of The Magi, the Gems were kept in Sacred Temples in each of the Elemental Kingdoms. I found the Fire Gem. Its Temple was Canine, the Firehound Prince. According to Canine, other magical creatures are capable of being Temples Of The Gems. Can you tell me how to find the Wind Gem?" Geed asked.
"I had a feeling you didn't want to continue your quest yet something keeps driving you on" King Aerobis said solemnly.
"I didn't want to ever since I found out it was my destiny to restore balance to this world. I never wanted to carry the burden" Geed said.
"Then why do you keep going on?" the King asked.
"I made a promise that I must keep no matter what!" Geed said and clenched his fists at his sides.
At this, the King smiled and began to glow. A bright white light engulfed him and slowly transformed him. Geed shielded his eyes. When the light disappeared, the King was no longer there. Instead, a gigantic bird wearing a crown and covered with pure white feathers and a very long tail feathers stood where King Aerobis was standing.
"King Aerobis? You are…the second sacred creature?" Geed asked in disbelief.
"Yes, I am the Spirit Of Wind, the Windlasher. Unfortunately, the Gem Of Wind was stolen by my treacherous son. He was once wise and benevolent but Kane corrupted him. He was a powerful Wind Magician but I did not find him worthy enough to wield the Gem Of Wind. In rage, he tried to assassinate me but failed. He managed to steal the Gem Of Wind or so he thought. The Wind tells me he regrets his actions but fears to return. I see in you the strength to wield the Gems. When you find my son, tell him I forgive him and that he can return home" the Windlasher said.
And then, the Windlasher slowly shrank until it disappeared leaving in its place the Gem Of Wind. Then Geed heard the Windlasher's voice speak.
"Take the Gem and continue your quest but be careful, the next two Temples will be very hostile. Once you find all the gems, find the Temple Of Light and create the Sword Of Light, with this, you can defeat Darkmanner" and then the voice ceased.
Geed slowly picked up the transparent gem and added it to the Crimson Gem in his pouch. He made the replica of the Five Point Star once again and called to the elements. The bright light once again took him away from Windia. The light teleported him from the clouds to the earth.
"There's only two more gems left to find" Geed thought silently to himself.
Suddenly, a girl rode by quickly on a horse narrowly missing him. Men in black armour chased after her, an army of men in black armour to be precise.
"It's always déjà vu on earth. This ridiculous cycle never stops" Geed thought angrily.
The girl's horse tripped on a branch and threw her overboard. Geed realized that she could die if she hit the ground and caught her quickly on a powerful current of wind hence breaking her fall.
"The boy seems to be an accomplice, kill them both!" the leader of the men commanded.
"Thanks for saving me, I'm Alice, Princess Of Phoenicia. I don't want to involve you in this" the girl said.
Immediately, memories of fire, Romanus falling, Canine dying filled Geed's mind.
"So these men are Dark Hunters, followers of Kane. This is…getting interesting" Geed said as rage began to fill him.
"What? How do you know Kane?" Alice asked.
"Surrender and we'll let you live" the leader of the men ordered.
"You retreat and I'll let you live!" Geed threatened.
The men laughed and mocked Geed.
"What can one insignificant brat like you do?" they asked.
At that comment, Geed made a sharp motion with his hands and a gust of wind knocked all the men off their horses.
"The boy's a Magi! RETREAT!" the commander of the army ordered and all the men ran away.
"When you return to Kane, tell him that his worst fear has returned to destroy him!" Geed shouted to the men.
"Prince Damian?" Alice asked.
Geed shook his head.
"Uh…I'm his brother, Prince Gideon of the Wind" Geed lied.
"Prince Gideon, I was never aware that King Aerobis had two sons" Alice stated.
"I'm his adopted son" Geed said.
"Your wind powers are amazing. How can you be the Wind Magi when Prince Damian already is. The only other person who could be is…Geed" Alice said sadly.
"Geed huh?" Geed muttered lost in thought.
"Do you know him?" Alice asked hopefully.
"Yes" Geed replied. "I knew him bit…he died. I don't like to remember him" Geed said.
"You're lying right? Geed could just walk through fire without getting burnt. How could he just…die?" Alice asked in disbelief.
"Maybe he just stopped being the same person" Geed replied and began to walk away.
"Wait! Since you're the new Wind Magi for this generation and I'm the Fire Magi, and we might probably be searching for the same thing, please let's work together. We need to find the other Magi" Alice said.
Geed thought for a while.
"Fine, I'm searching for the others anyway but let me warn you, there are a lot more things to be scared of than just Dark Hunters" Geed cautioned. "And…don't expect me to protect you from any of them. I quit protecting people long ago" Geed stated plainly.
"What's with this guy? It's almost as though he has no heart. How could he have known Geed?" Alice thought as she developed an immediate dislike for Geed.
"So tell me Prince Gideon about yourself" Alice asked.
"I was adopted, born and raised in the Kingdom Of Wind in the Clouds, Windia. My father is King Aerobis. I don't know my mother. I've never seen my brother Damian but I know I have to warn him. That's about everything you need to know about me" Geed narrated.
