The next morning after dealing with all of the complications of the lord, who ended up sending his son in his stead, the camp started packing up ready for their next journey to round up power of the lords of Britain to take down the traitorous king Vortigern.
However just before they left a man wearing purple armor and wielding a large sword galloped his horse into the camp.
"I am Sir Lancelot du Lac! I have come to serve King Arthur Pendragon as a knight of the roundtable!"
The crowd gathered around Lancelot fast.
"Du Lac?"
"Same family as Sir Sirius!"
Lancelot looked around till he saw a man dressed in a red robe walking towards him. "Sir Sirius Wilhelm, I've come to serve-"
"Yeah yeah, you've come to serve blah blah just give me a second then you can serve all you want~"
Who would say no to free man power, however joining the roundtable that would serve as the foundation for the defense of Britain? Sirius had to make sure the man was up to snuff.
After getting into stance with Arcane, Sirius flicked up his wrist and beckoned Lancelot forth. "Okay come at me~"
Lancelot wordlessly took out Arondight and stood ready. They both sat there for ten minutes before Sirius spoke up.
"Are you gonna move or are we gonna sit here all day?"
"A knight always lets other's go first Sir Sirius, and from what I know you are more of a mage than a knight. So you may have the first strike."
'More of a mage yet still people call me a knight. Why?'
The people always called him a Knight of Mystery because his background was unknown and he appeared out of nowhere making a name for himself as Vivian's brother.
He would rather be called the Magus of Secrets instead.
"Alright whatever you say dear nephew~"
Then his circuits flared reinforcing his legs and arms as he flashed behind Lancelot going for his back. However Lancelot was a master swordsman, his back was always protected.
TING!
The sound of blades clashing echoed across the field as each time Sirius swung Lancelot had Arondight defend. This eventually led to Sirius using one of their clashes to rebound away.
"Whistle~.....Pretty good nephew, but can you withstand this?"
Then Sirius, with the clap of his hands and snap of his fingers made the air heated. The explosions were deafening to the nearby soldiers.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The ranged combustion alchemy Sirius developed bombarded Lancelot, but the famed Knight of The Lake was slowly being cooked in his armor.
When Sirius stopped his alchemical magecraft, Lancelot's armor was steaming as he lowered his sword.
"Why didn't you move you dumbass. I could have cooked you to the point that you would have been welded to your armor...."
Lancelot slowly used Arondight in tandem with his blessing from Vivian to cool his armor and body before answering Sirius.
"I thought that you would need to know the resolve I had....uncle....."
Sirius felt the resolve from the man. "Okay then Lancelot welcome to the Knights of the Roundtable, lets go meet His Majesty."
The two walked over to the tent that Artoria was in where Lancelot got more acquainted with his lord. "Your majesty I come to serve as a knight of Britain. I stood in awe as stories from your battles spread across Britain making me come personally to pledge myself to you."
…
Later Sirius could be seen sitting in his tent writing several notes on recent advancements in alchemy and displacement. 'The residual energy can be used as a conduit by which ranged transmutation is possible....'
Later Sirius went out to train his alchemy and try a few things with his displacement again. Instead of walking he displaced his current position with that of the mark on the hill he made the other day.
"Well teleporting is pretty neat~"
Sirius said as he gazed upon the moon from the hill. Then he made several bounded fields hiding his actions so nobody finds out about his magic. Can't have Merlin poking his nose where it don't belong.
After casting thought acceleration and partition so he could practice more with it. He delve into the crest to better analyze his magic more. What he found was the basis of the magic allowed him to 'perceive' what was true or not, like he could 'hide' his age from the perception of the world making him younger, though this takes a lot of magical energy to pull off.....
"Lots of training ahead...."
…
Back in Morgan Le Fay's Tent...…
Morgan was sitting in her chair writing something. Beside her was a wrapped sword that gave off a....sickly feeling.
"I just have to find someone to wield Clarent, someone who can keep up with my dear sister in swordsmanship."
The witch was planning, planning to take over Artoria's spot on the throne, and she would do anything to achieve it.
…
In a vast empty space there lay an entity. This entity is the collective subconscious of humanity, Alaya and she was currently in quite the pickle.
"Finding counter guardian."
It filtered through countless people to combat something.
"Sakamoto Ryouma, Denied. Fujino Asagami, Denied. Shirou Emiya, Denied. Okita Souji, Denied. EMIYA Assassin class, Denied." It went on and on and on, trying to find someone to combat this threat that it had found.
The recent hole made by Sirius had serious repercussions as it was not a perfected magic, it caused something to fall inside the world. A being made of lies and smiles. A being disgusted with happiness and disgusted with sadness.
At the rate the current world was going, it would be destroyed in a decades time. With humanity dying out, leaving the timeline in jeopardy of becoming a lostbelt, a timeline abandoned by Ayala as 'unsalvageable'.
There are three things that can combat this force. One is the Sub-Bells of the Beginning, six fairies tasked with forging Excalibur. Another is Sirius du Lac Wilhelm who has perfected his magic. The last is the Celtic God Of Curses, Cernunnos.
These three things together can combat this force in its entirety, saving the timeline from human extinction.
…
In another part of Britain there lay a mound. A mound that was slowly increasing the amount of corpses it was made out. This mound of death and despair of all the fairies that died in it was saturating the area, giving birth to a king.
The mound shuddered as a man could be seen sleeping inside, tossing and turning with an incomplete body. This was the being that had Alaya on it's metaphorical toes, a being that could destroy the world.
