Xeris had gone with the pack to hunt.She insisted that she remained back but Damian insisted and said that it was part of her training.It took them a few hours to climb to the top of a steep hill and cross a river that had strong currents.As the pack walked through the forest Xeris fell to the ground and didn't make a sound when she fell.
"Xeris... why didn't say anything when you fell.You could be badly injured."
"Nana i'm alright.Just my feet couldn't carry me anymore. In fact i can't feel my legs any more."Xeris said as she tried sitting up.
"We can rest here for a while..."Damian said coming close to Xeris.
"May i take a look at your leg?"Damian asked as he knelt on one leg.
"Sure,ism pretty sure its numb."Xeris said as she massaged her legs lightly.
"You just need to cool them down.At least now we know you have a strong stamina.Good thing you fell on our hunting spot."Damian said standing up.
Daniel came and sat next to Xeris and started asking her annoying questions which drove Xeris crazy.
"Daniel take my advice and leave before i do something to you which you will regret."Xeris said trying to be as humble as she could.
"Don't you mean which you will regret?"
"No i mean which you will regret.Wanna know what it is?"Xeris asked as she looked at Daniel in the eye which freaked him out.Daniel gave out a lame excuse to leave cause he was afraid of Xeris.
Nana brought some water for Xeris to drink.After a while Axel came to where Xeris was and stared at her leg.
"Whatever you do don't touch my legs cause you have a history of trying to kill me except from Damian,Tilda and Nana so back off."Xeris said as he looked at him.Axel didn't listen and grabbed one of her legs and raising it up making Xeris do a backward back flip and sending her down a ditch that was filled with mud.Everyone went to check if she was alright or she was dead.When they reached there they found Xeris standing on her two feet covered with mud all over holding a long branch.
"So nice to see you alive for a moment i thought you had died.'Axel said walking closer to Xeris.
"You weren't wrong someone will die,wanna a hint on who it is?It starts with the letter"A" and ends with the letter "L". No clue?Alright I'll just tell you it's you !"Xeris said swinging the stick at him aiming for his head.Axel started running around screaming for the rest to help him but they all stood there watching him being chased.Axel run in between a herd of Antelope.Xeris was behind him and was furious,he run behind an antelope and Xeris hit the antelope mercilessly till it died and till she lost all her energy.
"Thats one way of hunting.Geoffrey carry the kill Daniel help Axel and I'll carry Xeris back to the...box thing."Damian said picking Xeris up.
