Xana did not notice the expression of the chef and kept on popping sliced tomatoes in her mouth. Once she had finished them, she used a plastic spoon to taste the sauce.
It tasted sweet. So she grabbed a wing of duck and dipped it in the sauce. The chef was tired of waiting already. Finally, she was eating the main part of the dish.
Soon, the duck wing was finished. It was amazing. The duck seemed to melt when it entered her mouth and the seasonings had seeped right into the roast duck.
Her friends were salivating watching her, then they took some parts. Xana allowed them and soon they were all moaning at it's taste.
...
"It was an honor having you at my restaurant. I hope you enjoyed every bit of your stay." the chef said as he walked them to the exit.
The workers and other diners were shocked seeing the owner escort these group of kids and two adults out. They probably won't have felt the same way if they knew that the manufacturers of the three miracles were in the group.
"Every bit? No, not exactly." Xana recounted all that had happened to him. "Every worker is important, you know. Do you not know the happenings in your own restaurant?"
The chef nodded furiously. He was definitely going to look into this and settle it. Annoying the young genius is what he would not like to do ever again.
Sam breathed out. That was the most satisfying meal she had ever had.
When they were all outside, she asked Xana. "What are we doing next?"
Sam's question made Xana remember something.
"Right, Old Tim, I have to tell you something." she said.
"Hmm? What?"
"There is not only iron." she started.
Old Tim was confused. "What?"
"There is steel too." she completed. Everyone was dumbstruck. Steel?
Max shook his head. "Wait..how did we even get to this point?"
"I'm also confused."
"Confused +1"
Xana rolled her eyes.
Old Tim finally understood her words. "Steel? That- that's something so advanced. What's it doing in this village? Wait, steel, we can't keep this under wraps!"
"I know, I know." Xana was exhausted thinking about when they decided to keep the iron deposit under wraps.
Sam, Max, Sean and Bill were very confused.
"Can someone explain to me what is going on?" Sam said.
"Maybe it's something secret?"
"Secrets?"
Xana turned to them. Her mind was whizzing but she still had to tell them.
"There's an iron deposit. Wait.." she paused. "Didn't I tell you about this before?"
"Of course you mentioned this. But we did not believe you?!" Sam said. "You are a freaking seventeen years old. How did you find out?"
'Oh, she noticed what others did not? This is going to be tiring, hectic. I'm already weary.' Xana thought.
"Deanna! Tell me! Don't hide it any longer."
What could she say? That their dear Deanna is dead and she is a completely different soul from the future? Should she say that she knew basically almost everything under the sun? That their dear friend, Deanna, is now and actually Xana?
She took a deep breath.
"Sam, why are you acting so weird?" she said with a confused expression. "I read up some books on how to find out if the land has natural deposits in it. I'm just guessing."
Sam's furrowed brows relaxed a bit.
"What were you thinking? You can't probably think that I, your friend, I am some imposter, right?" Xana felt a bit guilty saying this. She felt like she was questioning Sam's feelings for her friend, Deanna.
"No, no I don't mean it that way." Sam waved both of her hands. "Trust me, I was just getting a bit worked up and I thought you were acting strangely."
Sam thought to herself. 'Deanna was very intelligent, well understood, but now, she had passed the throes of ordinary intelligence.
Last time, her nose itched and she picked it in front of us. She did not start to lecture us on bad habits as she cleaned her nose with a cloth.
Now, she's got amazing knowledge on science and technology. You would not freaking tell me that she learnt all of this from this school of ours?
We do not have the best teachers. Most of our teachers are not even qualified to teach. The few volunteers are not stable or constant. The textbooks are old editions.
I'm not being jealous or anything, I'm smart and intelligent too. But, I can't be the only one finding this weird, right?'
Sadly, Sam was indeed the only one finding it weird. Sean had a little bit of suspicions but he didn't think much of it. Max was way worse than them, he did not even give it a thought, nothing was suspected. Anyway, she never expected much from her dumb head brother. Old Tim and Bill did not know about Deanna till recently.
"Let's continue! I want to visit that cake shop down the street. I heard that the chocolate cake is made up of imported chocolate." Max was literally salivating. His hands were wrapped round Bill's neck. Birds of a feather, flock together. These two were like peanut butter and jam.

Thidas
Area A
Area A was the most prosperous area in Thidas. Right now in a platinum and gold coloured castle, the cream of the top in Area A are gathered. A discussion is holding on the latest discovery with the experiment on special humans.
Actually, all humans in that world were special. They were almost nonhuman. Medications and experiments have caused the breakthrough in human anatomy. What human in the current era could learn over twenty fields of study without fatigue, or fight with robots and destroy drones barehanded? What human could manufacture earth shaking equipment and mechanics?
The special humans that were being discussed about were those that were more than unique. Every baby was born with a little of the medications from the mothers body, also, they were given more as they grew causing them to rise way above their potential.
Very few of these babies have their blood and internal liquid mutate. They become weak at first but are suddenly unstoppable and great.
Xana Evergreen Curtis and Venus Eugene Curtis were two of the few babies that mutate.
Their father was a scientist therefore he knew what happened during the birth of his wife. He oversaw it. The connection between his son and daughter with his wife turned golden from red.
His eyes widened. Special Humans! Therefore, he hid their abilities and did not report it to Scientist Board.
The people in the castle were discussing about one of the babies.
"Almost supernatural!" one said.
"He read my thoughts in a split second. No! Before I even thought of it!"
"The three year old girl was amazing. Her purple eyes freezed whoever looked straight at it."
"So great that she had a twin brother who could thaw the frost. You would have been stuck in it forever." another finished.
As they spoke, they did not forget to look up to s throne that was high above them. They couldn't even see who was on it. The light shining from the throne blocked all sight.
"Two of them are missing. I want the force of all the special humans. I want to take back the control of the world." A deep and thunderous voice sounded from the throne.
Everyone shivered. "Yes, High Father!"
