Chereads / Strange, It's a Female Aspirant / Chapter 24 - The Super Plough

Chapter 24 - The Super Plough

What no one knew was that Venus was able to enter the organization easily with the help of Leon. The explosion of the alarms was like a goodbye gift from Venus to the organization.

Leon watched from the top floor as he ran away with his sister.

'I hope you never come back to this place.'

Everyone in the organization was alarmed when they did not find Xana. Lord Doctor Melvin was apprehended and sentenced to death.

It was very sad for him as it was the egoistic Son Theo José that headed his trial. Had it been the High Father, he would have been granted amnesty.

Lord Doctor Curtis was no where to be found. Therefore, as the sins of the forefathers fall upon their children, the wrongs of Melvin fell upon Leon.

He was demoted to Area B as a punishment. A punishment that Leon was grateful for.

...

Leon sighed as he remembered his actions. 'These people don't know about it so why are they calling me?'

He hurried inside the tower as the envoy shoved him a little.

The platinum doors slid open welcoming Leon into the tower. He felt and eerie chill down his spine, though.

He was greeted with eyes as he stepped in, some glaring, some filled with sympathy and half relief, some jealousy.

Leon rolled his eyes inwardly. 'I got the Lord Doctor title, whatcha gonna do about it? Ha!'

The High Father cleared his throat, the sound bringing Leon back to his senses. His expression turned solemn.

"Lord Doctor Leon, welcome." the High Father smiled at him.

"Thank you High Father. Is there anything that this lowly one may help with?"

"Well, speaking of help, I happen to know something about the escape of the special human, Xana."

Leon's heart jumped into his mouth. He smiled awkwardly.

"I can't believe that all the security agents and technology of the organization could not stop that pipsqueak, Venus." The Son continued.

Leon gulped. "That is nothing to write home about. I apologise on behalf of my comrades who work there."

The High Father nodded. His expression hid malice.

"You do have nothing to do with their escape, right?" he asked.

"No, not at all." Leon shook his head.

"I don't believe him, Father." the damned Son whose sissy attitude was glaringly different from his looks spoiled the atmosphere.

Leon cursed inwardly.

"He's good. Though his master, Melvin, made a huge mistake, he is clean and is serving his term at Area B, willingly." The High Father looked satisfied.

The Son scoffed and began to pick his nails. Each of his metal legs whipped out nail cleaning tools. One held a file, the other, nail cutter, the other, polish.

The officials in the hall felt disgusted. There was no way this sissy was taking over the world after his father's death. There was no way that they would allow that.

The High Father stood up, his actions bringing the officials out of their reverie.

"The time has begun. The new world shall be governed by the High Father, our savior."

Leon kept his head bowed as he spoke. 'For a group of humans in the advanced world, these people were quite archaic.'

He was happy, though. Those siblings will never be found.

...

As Leon sat down in his office, he remembered the look on Xana's face as her brother carried her away. It was blank.

"The past. What a complicated concept. Xana's soul should be with Parker 3000. She was the reason I sent him there in the first place." he muttered to himself.

A door bell rang.

"Ha! Finally, someone realized that I have a door bell. Wait, someone actually figured out how to use my doorbell?"

He walked to the door curiously. Opening it, a handsome face faced him. He gasped in shock.

"What in the world are you doing here?!"

...

Acorn Village

Old Was humming an old tune as he worked. The blueprints Xana gave him were taped on a wall opposite him.

He suddenly screamed out as he sang, the melody overtaking him.

"The wheel on my horse takes me down my country road. Oh, Weeeee!"

His butt swayed to the song.

Bill was sitting in the living room. Once again, he snuck his way into his friend's house, as Old Tim didn't let him in. Hearing the song from the smithy, he shook his head speechlessly.

Old Tim walked out pulling a small cart that had a lot of metal parts on it. He walked to the backyard not noticing Bill.

The backyard was field with grasses. A huge contraption was standing there. Old Kept on humming as he brought out the parts and fixed them to the contraption.

He walked inside once again, still not noticing Bill, and gingerly walked out with a mechanical contraption. He placed it at the back of the machine and locked it. After applying lubricants to the metal joints, he tapped on a remote.

The engine of the machine revved and the machine began to move. The grass was uprooted and turned and at the same time, seeds were being planted, covered and watered.

Bill who had snuck up at the backyard gasped loudly. Old Tim slowly to the sound.

"What. Are. You. Doing. Here." He said each word with emphasis.

Bill's gulp could be heard very clearly.

"Nothing, nada, zilch! Was just walking around and found myself in here.

Woah! Hey! That looks amazing, so awesome!" he tried to change the topic.

"You're bad at changing topics but anyways.." the new voice sounded scaring the both of them.

Xana was walking in to the backyard. Her eyes narrowed slightly at the machine working.

"Something's missing."

Old Tim didn't miss her expression and led her to the plough.

"You are awesome, your highness. Here, do what you do best." Old Tim said, his expression filled with reverence.

Xana laughed out loud. She stopped the machine and opened a compartment, tightening screws and oiling joints.

Then she totally disassembled a compartment.

"These gears are low grade, Old Tim."

She brought out shiny new gears from her backpack and fixed it on the machine.

She got up and patted it's body. "Now this is better."

Old Tim brought Xana the remote control and she started the machine. It revved up again but the sound was way smoother.

The actions it completed were smoother, too.

"The fourth miracle." Bill whispered softly.

"The super plough." Old Tim completed.
