The Khar plains was complete desolate, land spanning for about couple of thousands of kilometers, its located right in middle of Crune Empire and the Kronos kingdom.
Despite having such large land and being close to the trade center of the Continent, city of Gandhar, it is untouched, mainly due to this place sharing it's borders with the Void forest.
Whenever the Mana density of the Continent increases and the beasts residing in the continent turn rampant, creating a phenomena called Monster Subjugation.
Since this place doesn't provide any resources, no one bothers to invest any resources to safeguard it from Beasts and bandits, leaving this place completely barren and desolate.
Although they ran into a few groups of bandits but they were immediately taken care of by Barnes and Karn.
"Alright Stop right here, we reached our destination."
Immediately around 50 carriages stopped, in the middle of nowhere, before the group started building basecamps and tents around the area.
A large big tent was built in the middle of the camp, consisting of the elite members of the army.
"We have gathered enough rations that could last for about a month." Barnes reported to Ian after calculating their Granary.
Ian gave a nod before saying.
"That's more than enough time, well Sir Rustom, please stay here with Naikda and make sure everything stays in order, while both of you follow me behind."
As Barnes and Karn quickly hastened their steps and started following Ian, as they kept walking before the stopped in front a large boulder in front of them.
" Right here." Ian pointed towards the boulder before commanding " Break that boulder."
Barnes didn't question Ian, as he was already aware that Ian seem to posses a profound amount of knowledge with him.
He soon drew his sword and gathered all the Mana in his body, before drawing an arc with his sword and cleaving the entire boulder into two.
"Now start digging the place right under this boulder." Ian comanded while pointing at both the individual he brought along with them.
As the two soon started digging, Karn asked "Just what's exactly underneath this boulder."
"An ancient Castle."
Both of them stopped digging and looked at Ian, to make sure, he is not pulling their legs, but looking at his seriously tone and face, both started getting curious and hastened their progress of digging.

Soon Karn felt as if he just hit a huge pile of metal, and no matter how much strength he applied he couldn't move further his shovel deeper even a bit, as he glanced sideways and noticed Barnes facing the same predicament.
"Haa!, found it" Ian exclaimed before jumping right into the pit, both Karn and Barnes dug just a while ago.
Soon the three dug out a metallic surface, with a marking of a triangle with a circle engraved on it.
"Just what is this ?" Barnes questioned while looking at the strange metallic surface with a strange marking left on it.
"It's the insignia of the ancient Mayan Empire, Karn quickly draw your blood in this altar"
Karn immediately followed Ian's instructions, as he drew his blood on that large metallic surface, before it started glowing before a stairs leading all way down to the ground, appeared in front of them.
Ian immediately hastened his steps as he charged straight in, while the other two followed him behind.
almost an hour passed by, as the group kept marching downwards from the steps, before they finally reached the surface area.
"Just where is this place, and why are we..."
Karn immediately stopped speaking as he noticed a large white castle, which seemed to be have been out of pure white crystal marble appeared infront of him.
"As I told you guys earlier, we are here to take the inheritance left by Mayan Empire."
"T.T..T..This is a castle....is this really ours for the taking." Karn questioned Ian.
"Well this castle is not the only thing left for the inheritance you see, their entire Knowledge and armory stored inside are also ours from now on."
Ian said with an indecnant tone.
Soon the three entered the large Mayan Castle infront of them, as the two seemed completely lost by the granduer of the palace infront of them.
"Is this the place where the rulers of those so called Mayan Empire lived." Barnes questioned.
"This is not exactly a palace, you see the Mayan Empire doesn't exactly have a ruler, it was ruled by three races combined, The triangle in their flag stands for three sides and the circle stands for Unity, what your currently looking at is the human part of the inheritance."
"Not a palace?, then what exactly was this place used for ?" Barnes questioned.
"It was the Knight's templar, used to train thousands of knights and martial artists for the Mayan Empire. You see humans were incharge of army and cavalry."
"I see, so that's why I needed to draw my blood, to validate the fact that I am indeed a human." Karn reached a conclusion, from all the things he went through.
"Now let's claim this templar, once and for all" Ian said while he marching towards the top floor of the templar.
Soon the three reached in front of a large room located in the top floor of the templar. As they entered the room, a large Crystal ball appeared in front of them.
"Now draw your blood again and drop it on top of the Crystal ball"
Karn followed Ian's command and dropped a pinch of his blood on the top, before getting the Crystal ball completely absorbed the blood and turned into dust, leaving a trail of silver light behind.
Soon a Large Desk and a Chair made out of white marble appeared right in the middle of the room.
The desk had a name 'KARN' engraved on it, before Ian finally opened his mouth.
"Congrats, you are now the new Commander of the Knight's templar"
Karn had no idea what expression to make, he had no idea what exactly happened in here, at one instance he is drawing blood which led him to this templar and now he now it made him the owner of this large place.
"Right I haven't even shown you guys the Armoury" Ian murmured as he walked towards the newly formed desk and pulled a strange circular mechanism in the corner of the desk.
Soon a large hidden room opened itself up, as Barnes went through the contents of this place and he couldn't help been feel his legs losing its strength
Manuals,Sword Art,Spear Art,Techniques grade from the lowest of 'Rare grade' to the highest Divine Grade' Neatly arranged in front of him.
He could tell that the only place that could possibly rival this place in terms of arts and knowledge might just be the Royal palace of Augustus Empire. But those knowledge is only privileged for the Royal Family, while this place is created for an entire army.
At first Barnes was highly doubtful about what he just signed up for, but now he was confident,
' Empire ?, are they really that big of a deal ?, Can they even match a finger nail of this divine black cat in here, Just you wait crune Empire, you're about to witness the full might of the Wrath of this Black cat.' Such Childish thoughts started entering Barnes head, as even he hasn't noticed but he completely turned into a Black cat fanatic.
"What are you guy's waiting for, go in and grab whatever you like ?"
Hearing those commands the two immediately rushed inside the armory.
Barnes immediately started scouting through 'Sword Art Techniques' Neatly placed infront of him before glancing at a particular technique which has been letting a deep Azure hue.
As he took a peek, and read the name of Art aloud "Celestial Water Sword Art" and after that looked at the grade stated beside it.
"Heuk !, D..D..Divine Grade Sword Art" Barnes almost fainted after looking at grade, only those pinnacle existence and their direct descendants might have something crazy like that, he couldn't help but give one last glance towards Ian and while asking.
"Can I really take this ?"
Ian gave a nod, he knew the people who have been with him, even during their lowest of times should be properly rewarded, after giving Barnes a sign of affirmation, he walked infront of a particular martial art manual before picking it up.
The martial art manual he just picked is suitable for Spear users.
"What did you pick ?" Karn asked while glancing at Ian, Seemingly engraving this image in his mind.
The image of a cat holding a scroll with both his paws, seemed quite a pleasing sight for Karn.
Ian, being completely unaware of what's going inside Karn's mind answered honestly.
" '13 Stances of the Spear King' it's a quasi-legendary grade Martial art Manual, it's also the highest graded item in here, it belonged to the previous commander of this place."
"A Spear Martial art, it's quite useful for Naikda and Sir Rustom" Karn answered, as both of them are Spear using martial artist's.
"I got this especially for them, now will you grab a decent Spear for Naikda."
Karn immediately heeded Ian's command and grabbed a shiny metallic 'Heroic Grade' Spear in his hand.
"That is a nice sword", Ian said while glancing towards the black 'Heroic grade' sword lying around Karn's waist.
"Well there are tons of better swords in here but for some reason I couldn't seem to lift it up."
"Those Swords Graded higher than 'Heroic' have their own ego, there's no way they would choose a mere ' 2 Star ' Swordsman."
As Barnes was the last person who came out of the the armory,completely covered in Heroic grade armor and sword.
"Hehehe I am never taking this off." Barnes said while having a loud laugh.
"I guess you were having a time of your life, Alright let's go, although people might get a bit surprised by the sudden appearance of the templar in the middle of nowhere.
