It's been roughly around 1200 years since both Dwarfs and elves appeared to have gone extinct from this continent, Since humans came on top for the battle of supremacy in this continent, driving the other two races towards their extinction.
"Atleast that's what everyone believes, you see they are still there, actually we are pretty close to them right now, closer than you can expect."
"Where are they exactly ?" Barnes questioned.
Ian pointed towards a certain direction before opening his little cat mouth.
"The Black Forest."
Barnes immediately made an ugly face the moment Ian mentioned, 'The Black Forest'. Its a pretty notorious place, which is said to be ruled by a Millineal beast.
A Millineal beast is something only those at 'Eight Circle' or a Martial Ancestor or above Entity could deal, it's also the biggest factor stopping the other nations from claiming this place as their own.
"I know, it's practically suicide to go inside the black forest with our strength, but we won't be going there completely defenseless."
"Huh! what do you mean ? do you have some kind of protection Artifact or what ?." Karn questioned.
"It's Something similar to that, and it's right in front of you" Ian said while glancing toward's the huge templar in front of them.
"Are you planning on flying this templar inside the black forest ?" Karn said with a surprised tone.
"There's no need to stop inside that place, just place it around the outskirts of the forest, those dwarves won't be able to hold themselves back."
Ian giggled as he said those word's, as if he was laying a bait for the fish.
"Alright let's go, we need a new addition to our city."
Just as the group was about to enter a middle aged Voice interrupted them from behind.
"Karn" Keisha screamed ecstatically after finding her son, While roaming in the middle of nowhere
"Mom, Dad, y..you guys woke up I see, you should grab yourself something to eat and return back to your tent."
"Stop , where are we exactly ?,what was all that nonsense about of them calling you a Captain."
"Mother Calm down, let me explain it you carefully."
Karn immediately started explaining about how he assaulted a nobleman and how he rescued those miners, while keeping the fact about Ian a complete secret.
Hearing those insane stories, Keisha went from horrified to turning completely pale, at first she was about to drag Karn back to where they came from, but after learning about all those deeds his son has committed, they might be lucky if they are given a easy death.
"Mother, Father I know what you guys are thinking, but trust me this once, this will be our new home, I'll make sure of it, please."
"Alright, Do you think we have any other choice, before that what's with that large building over there." Garud asked.
"Ahh! t..t..that belongs to the commander of this templar."
"I see, he must be some great nobleman, is he the one helping you guys, you must thank him for his generosity whenever you see him."
' Well he sitting right in my shoulders' Karn thought while glancing at that black cat lazily looking at him, as if telling him to wrap all this up.
"Alright you guys should return back to your tent, I'll explain everything to you latter."
"Alright Alright, we won't disturb you any longer" Garud said while still a holding a still dazed Keisha on his arms,as she appears to in quite a shock from all the things happening around her.
After Karn's parents left, the group started walking towards the control room located in the commander's office.
"When will Rustom come back from gandhar ?" Ian asked while glancing towards Naikda.
"Master said he will be back in a week" Naikda answered honestly.
Rustom immediately rushed back to gandhar, to validate Ian's claim about his son, he has already given and noted down years worth of instructions and training method for Naikda to follow before taking his leave.
"I guess, there's a lot of surprise that's waiting for him, when he comes back." Ian murmured before, commanding Karn to manipulate the templar with the Crystal orb in front of them.
Karn was the one who gave his blood and got officially acknowledged as the owner of this templar, as he lightly placed his hand on the orb, before thinking about levitating this entire high up in the ground.
The entire templar began to shake before it started floating up high in the ground.
"Woah!!! we are flying , we are really flying." Naikda exclaimed while jumping up and do, as those scenes that appear only in mythical stories, was talking place right in front of them.
The residents that have staying felt the entire land shake before witnessing the monolith figure of a castle, that appeared a few days ago getting lifted high up in the sky, before charging towards the Black forest.
"W..W...What just happened ?" the residents questioned themselves after witnessing such bizarre scenes in front of them.
------
Inside the templar, Karn gave a glance towards Ian before raising a question.
"So am I just suppose to float this thing above the black forest and the place in on the outskirts."
Ian just gave slight nod, giving an affirmation, while karn followed Ian's exact instructions before landing the templar in the outskirts of the forest.
"What now ?" Barnes questioned, while glancing at Ian.
"Now we wait." Ian said as he sat back with a lazed expression, although his eyes were fixed towards the direction of the black forest.
Soon almost an hour passed by, but nothing seemed to happen, as the group gradually started losing patience, before Karn stepped up and said.
"Maybe they are not here, are you got the wrong information."
Honestly them waiting here was the Dwarfs and the elves to arrive would sound laughable if anyone else heard about it, Ian can be wrong sometimes such thoughts appeared but immediately interrupted from the loud rattling sound coming from the forest.
"They are finally here, let's go and greet our guests." Ian said while charging downwards towards the exit.
Around 100 metallic carriages arrived and surrounded the large templar that appeared out of nowhere.
Soon a group of people, consisting of half sized bearded burly men and women and a group of human sized figure with pointed ears, got out of that large metallic carriages.
"Th..This is ancient architecture, it's created by primordial dwarves, I could tell just from a glance, It's atleast couple of thousand of years old,But it doesn't appear to be something the dwarves built for themselves." The burly man with short stature and red fiery hairs murmured.
"Karakrum, I know you're crazy about such things, but it's risky to just barge out of the forest like that, what if the humans see us here." A young blonde figure, with long hairs and beautiful facial features said hurridely to the dwarf, whose name appear to be Karakrum.
"It's 5618 years old to be exact, it belonged to the ancient Mayan Empire, and you're right it was indeed built by primordial dwarves for the Knight's in mind."
A black cat suddenly appeared infront of them, while the rest of the group followed them behind.
"Humans, Jeez I told you didn't I, this was a trap damn it" The blonde man hissed, while taking a battle posture.
All those elves gathered behind, took a battle posture as if they were ready to charge in whenever the command is given.
"Do you want to take tour from the inside ?" Ian said, while glancing straight towards Karakrum, while completely ignoring the existence of the blonde elf beside him.
Karakrum had a very conflicting thoughts, as he indeed wanted to have tour of the place created by his ancient lineage, but on the other hand it appeared to belong to those group of human's standing in their.
"This entire palace also consist of the ancient technique of rune smitting, which generates and provides water, electricity and heat to the entire templar, just by collecting the Mana from the surroundings."
"What ???" Karakrum exclaimed before pushing the blonde elf out of his way and charging straight inside the templar.
The other Dwarfs, who seemed to heard what Ian said, had the same reaction, as immediately dashed inside the templar knocking anything that might come in their way.
Ian and the his group immediately made way, for those Dwarfs who appeared to have lost their minds.
Honestly none of the three would ever forget that scene of hundreds of dwarves charging towards the templar like a pack of hungry wolves, with a mere one sentence from Ian.
As the three gave a side glance to Ian, he immediately shook his little cat head before explaining.
"Rune Smitting is a long lost ancient art that's Knowledge is only privileged to the primordial dwarves, But the Runesmith used in this templar is even a notch above it, usually a Runesmithing follows the law of taking Mana out of Mana stones before generating an output, but the one in our templar directly connects Mana from the environment without the need of any stones, this is what, that made those dwarves practically lose their mind."
Ian knew as long as he can provide a good deal, bringing dwarves on his side is not that difficult, the difficult part appears now as he has to deal with the most prideful and stubborn species in this entire continent. as he looked at the young blonde elf, glaring at him with a vivid hateful expression.
Ian could only sigh inwardly looking at that glare.
'I can understand, why he hates humans, but why is he glaring at me, I am merely Just an Ordinary Cat'
