"Hello my name is Ian..."
"Beat it, we have business involving with humans."
"But, I am not a human ."
"..."
"Let's introduce ourselves again, I am Ian, and you must be the chieftain of the elves." Ian said while glancing at the blonde haired individual infront of him.
"Alan." The blonde guy who appeared to be the chieftain of the elves mentioned his name, while being seemingly disinterested in talking any further.
"Alright Alan, you don't seem very interested in the the templar, is their something else I can help you with ?"
"Hmph !, What can you possibly help me with ? just finish with your nonsense,so we can go back ." Alan mentioned with quite a visible frown on his face.
"Well I am afraid, after witnessing today's incident, the dwarves might join our camp." Ian said with an honest tone.
"Y..Y..You" Alan couldn't bring his words out of his mouth, with those exaggerated response, he witnessed earlier, he could tell the dwarves would be definitely be interested, and them moving to that side while abandoning their thousand years of Cooperation, couldn't be completely ruled out.
Alan immediately gathered Mana around him, and drew a large Magic Circle around him. Looking at that scene both Karn and Barnes charged forward while unscheating their swords.
"I can't let you do that, both the dwarves and elves have been living a symbiotic relationship inside the Black forest, if you just take them away, it's akin to telling all the elves to die."
Alan said while readying a fighting posture.
Ian acknowledged what Alan just said, for nearly thousand years both the races have been mutually dependent on each other, the dwarves provide them with weapons and architectural knowledge while the elves provide them with protection, if the dwarves left, the elves would be left completely stranded inside that dangerous environment of the Black forest.
Ofcourse,Ian has no intention of abandoning these pointy eared beings, cause their talent in Mana can help him build a complete army of Magicians.
"Well how about you guys join us as well, we are a newly created group just a few days ago, and I am pretty sure....."
"Shut up !, don't you dare think your sugar coated words are gonna work on me." Alan finished creating his 'Fifth Circle' Magic as he aimed it towards the group, before a voice interrupted him.
"We have Martial Emperor you know, I could have forced all of you guys into submit if I wanted to."
Ian said with a monotic tone.
The Magic Circle Alan created immediately got dispersed, just as Ian mentioned the term 'Martial Emperor' from his mouth.
'Isn't that someone equivalent to a '7th Circle' archmage' Alan though as he immediately took a step back, while all the elves around made a scared expression.
Whether Ian was lying or not, Alan didn't dare to validate, as he has heard rumors about humans even having entities who have reached the realm of a Ninth Circle 'Soccerer King'.
"You guys can return, and make your decision on your own, whether to join us or not."
The Elves started murmuring among themselves what to do with this sudden proposal, but Alan didn't seem particularly interested in making any kind of deals involving humans, before he heard Ian's voice again.
"Ahh! right we also have the inheritance left by those ancient elves as well, think carefully before coming to a decision."
Hearing this , a sudden loud noise suddenly errupted from the crowd, as if they couldn't believe what they have just heard.
"Your Kidding me right, when you say knowledge of the ancient elves you mean..." Alan jumped in front of Ian with a completely different demeanor than his usual grumbling self.
"The Magic Spells, Alchemist and Elemental knowledge they left behind and along with the knowledge about Magic Swordsmanship developed by humans ."
After Dragon's, Elves were said to be the most gifted race, when it comes to controlling Mana, creating numerous magicians in their species. At once they were even the rulers of this entire continent, before being overthrow by the humans.
This also led them to become prideful, Alan was well aware the main reason for the downfall of the elves was their resistance to changes, while the humans kept on evolving and updating themselves while creating new professions like Magic Swordsman, Alchemists , Spiritualists and all such while the Elves became completely dependent on being magicians.
Alan knew there's no way for the elves to return back to the continent and claim a place for themselves, while those dwarves might still be considered useful due to their architectural talents.
"I know it's hard for you elves to set aside your usual prideful demeanor, but you have to wake up and acknowledge the fact that you guys are no longer the master's of this Continent, it's the human's, and with the way things are it It's going to stay like this for a while."
Ian said with a serious tone, while giving Alan and the elves around him a condemning glance before he continued speaking.
"And now because of your useless pride, you're throwing away the chance to make a return In this continent and have a place you can call your home along with other races."
"But..But it was those humans who almost drove us to extinction..." Alan refuted.
"I have seen elves do things much cruel and barbaric than that, when they were ruling this continent." Ian said while glancing straight at Alan's eyes, at first Alan was about to call Ian out for lying, as their's no way he believed this cat has long, but as he gradually glanced at Ian's deep abyss like eyes he couldn't help but swallow back his word's, as he could feel this cat was telling the truth.
"I acknowledge, that both sides have committed mistakes in the past, but that's not what matters now, what matters is the future, and the humans are willing to extend a hand towards that future, now the question is whether the elves are willing to do the same."
Alan was at a loss, he felt as if he was getting lectured by his parents, who are much wiser and experienced then him, he couldn't help but let a question out of his mouth.
"What the hell are you ?"
"Just an ordinary black cat"
".."
".."
A complete silence descended, before Alan let a chuckle out of his mouth, before nodding his head.
"Alright, I'll put my trust in you, but there are around Ten of thousands of dwarves as well as elves, where's exactly that camp you've talked about ?."
"We will built one right here, what is the use of accommodating dwarves, if not for building something." Ian said while pointing towards the dwarves, who seemed to be having the time of their life inside the templar.
"If I die, Bury me in this place" Karakrum murmured while hugging the large white pillar filled with Runes in it.
".."
".."
----
Three days passed by while the templar returned to its original position, but all of a sudden, two new buildings appeared beside the it.
A large brown Fortress, suddenly appeared on the left side of the templar, it seemed like an ancient Fort used in the border to defend their countries.
While a black obsidian tower, reaching the heights of skies appeared on the right side of the templar. As those scenes weren't enough, to surprise the camp residents, they suddenly witnessed a large number of insurge in their camp.
They wouldn't have been surprised if it was a normal insurge of refugees, but it turned out to be an insurge of species that were believed to have been long extinct.
"I.I..Is that a dwarf." one of newly recruited red Knights, wearing a red Martial robes said while pointing at a red haired dwarf walking pass him.
Karakrum turned around and glanced at the individual who just mentioned him.
"What's wrong ?, have you never seen an handsome guy before ?"
"Miester Karakrum, how did you like your new workplace."
A sudden voice suddenly interrupted Karakrum, as he turned around and noticed a dark blue haired individual glancing right at him.
"Ahh!, Captain Stanley Barnes right, hohoho I've never expected I'll see a place like this in my entire life."
Karakrum said while glancing at the large brown Fort standing tall in the left side of the city.
This place went way beyond his expectation, not only does it contain workshops and knowledge about smitting, engineering and Runesmithing of primordial dwarves, But the entire fort is connected with underground mines, filled with rare minerals, which could lead a war against Empires.
"There are three adamantine mine bellow that Fort, THREE" Karakrum said excitedly, as he rushed closer to Barnes, this close to planting a kiss on his face.
Barnes immediately took a step back before saying "I see, I'm glad to hear that, but before that, about what we discussed earlier, and could you please keep your voice down,we can't let anyone hear about that."
Stanley Barnes could completely understand why Karakrum had such exaggerated reaction, there are less than 10 mines in the entire Cresentia Continent combined, but now their are three of them right under their feet, although it could be considered a great boon, but right now it's nothing but a time bomb, since they are nowhere close to having a strength to keep such exhorbaint land.
"Ahh !, Right building the city, well we are working on a blueprint, but you would need to gather a large number of required materials, we are planning to put our best work, to make sure we don't let our Ancestors down." Karakrum said while looking at the three mystifying piece of architect in front of him.
Karakrum planned to give his all on this city planning, as he couldn't let a shabby city, drain all the glory of these three piece of art standing tall in front of him.
