Three days later, the royal family travelled to Zeth as earlier planned. The journey was half a day's trip and Ceaser could already feel his buttocks aching when he had only been in the carriage for two hours. The sun hadn't even risen yet and he wandered why his father was rushing like someone was going to die if they were delayed. Couldn't they man think of saving him from the trauma by slowing down? Ceaser was grateful that he wasn't in the same carriage as his father.
After there uncomfortable hours, the finally left Dreg and entered the land of Thy Seers or the land of the witches. Ceaser looked out the window and saw nothing different from his own home. There were people working while some supervised. He didn't want to fall asleep while they were there because he saw an old woman standing by the road side waving at them. She looked eyes with Ceaser and her smile widened while her waving hand slowed down.
Ceaser sank in his chair and pulled the curtains to shield his eyes from the sight of the woman. She was wearing a long black gown and had a cloak over her unkept hair and unhealthy looking body. He was sure the image would remain in his mind for a long time. Ceaser started talking to his mother to pass time but he could tell that her mind was elsewhere. Her vibrant eyes that always seemed to have a spark in them looked extinguished and weary. He stopped talking altogether and before long, Terra gracefully dozed off. After he was certain that they had left the land of Thy Seers, he let himself be over taken by a heavy slumber.
When Ceaser awoke again, he was in a soft and comfortable bed covered with silk cloth. When he stopped feeling like running water, he sat up on the bed and looked around. Most of the things in the room were covered or painted in white. The curtains where a lovely royal pink and a dark purple. It gave the whole room a lady-like feel. He already hated it. He lay back down on the bed and sank a few millimeters into it. He had his eyes shut to relax his aching body. He opened his eyes and looked up at the ceiling. This room also had engraving similar to the ones in his mother's room. This one, however, didn't include the image of the baby been thrown into the river.
He felt his sphincter muscle tense so he quickly got up. The fact that the room lacked color didn't help him to locate the bathroom fast enough. By the time he found it, his pants were half damp with urine. He wanted to be with his mother but she wasn't there and it made him want to cry. He managed to find the wardrobe and he was lucky enough to find a decent change of clothes.
Ceaser quietly walked through the long hallways one after another and soon he was lost.
" Excuse me kind sir but could you please help me find my mother?" he said to one of the many guards he encountered.
"Go back were to come from." the man answered unenthusiastically.
"Pardon?" the boy asked awe struck.
"Listen boy or Prince or whatever you think you are," the man said levelling himself with Ceaser," I am not in charge of giving directions so don't bother me."
"But I...."
"Bwat ayyi..." the man mimicked mockingly and the others laughed at the boy, " Get out of here if you don't want trouble."
Ceaser was trembling from shame as he watched the man make faces at him and the others laughed. He was royalty so why was this commoner disrespectful to him? They should be fighting to even touch him. His gaze on the man intensified and his anger was fueld. He looked at the man's lips and then his tongue just fell out of his mouth. The started screaming from both fear and pain. Ceaser looked at the man in horror and shock. He felt someone's gaze on him so he turned to see who it was.
There was a young girl looking at him or at least she seemed to be. She had a frightened look on her small face. Her eyes were pale gray and she har white hair. She even wore a white gown. To Ceaser she looked like a snow flake.
