I take my place across from Silen and drop back into a stance, ready to draw my blade.
Silen lifts his axe up onto his shoulder, ready to strike.
"Begin."
Before he even has the chance to move, I closed the distance and slashed across his chest leaving a deep gash in his armour.
Before he can recover, I bring my sword back down and slice the same spot, cracking his armour.
He recovers rather quickly and swings his axe.
I jump up and push myself back out of his range using the flat of his blade.
He brings the blade back across, using the same technique he used against Maria.
Perfect, from this closer range I can inspect the attack more closely.
I bring my blade across my body and meet his attack with my blade.
It seems he sliced the air itself to send an attack towards his opponent.
I can't control my decent so I do the only thing I can think to do and launch my own attack that sliced the air.
I position my blade above my head as I'm falling and swing down, copying the technique and slicing the air towards Silen.
I landed on the ground and sheathed my sword taking a stance ready to dash in and finish him off.
Silen paused in what I assume is shock, not expecting me to copy his technique. He quickly recovers and brought his axe across to block it.
I use that momentary pause to speed towards him.
He brings his axe across to defend as I draw my sword and slash across, separating the head from the shaft.
He just looks down as I walked past him towards Magiya who's skin had paled and sweat dripped down his nose onto the ground.
"It's over, I've already cut you."
I sheathe my sword and behind me blood bursts out from Silen's chest.
"You win this fight Leon! Now take a stance, it's time to face me!"
I drop back into a stance ready to attack.
"Gladly."
I grip the hilt of my sword ready to strike as soon as the match gets called to start.
"Begin!"
Magiya immediately starts by throwing the same ice spikes he threw at Maria.
He doesn't have the ability to rapid fire the larger ones, but the smaller ones still hold enough power to obliterate a small building.
I slice through them one after the other as they come towards me. He can't keep this attack up for long, if I can last until then I can win.
It seems he's getting tired of throwing smaller attacks as he released one final ice spike large enough to obscure my view of him.
I quickly dodge to the side and circle around the spike to close the distance.
As I approach Magiya he slams his staff into the ground causing an eruption of ice spikes in a ten metre radius around him.
I'm unable to avoid the attack as frozen spikes pierced all through my legs rendering me immobile.
I strain my legs in order to force myself to move, though I'm unable.
The more I force my legs to try and move the more the spike seem to damage them.
Magiya seeing that I haven't given up begins to launch more spikes.
I'm able to deflect most of them but one pierces through my left forearm weakening my grip and forcing me to use just my right arm to wield my blade.
The ice binding my left leg shatters soon followed by my right.
I waste no time and charge towards Magiya.
Each step is agony, the pain and loss of blood almost causing me to pass out.
I've almost completely lost my defence due to my injured left arm severely limiting the movements I'm able to make with my sword causing more and more attacks to get through.
I'm in range and bring my sword out to attack when Magiya bangs his staff on the ground blocking the attack I had thrown with a wall of ice which got sliced clean in half down the middle.
Magiya had prepared for this and banged his staff on the ground once more recreating his field of ice which pierces me in place once more.
I can see the sweat dripping down his face despite the intense cold of the ice.
I bring my blade back and swing once more just to the left of where he stood in order to avoid killing him.
"It's over, Leon wins!"
