Chereads / Desolate Monarch / Chapter 10 - Goblins!

Chapter 10 - Goblins!

" Are you implying that the environment changes from time to time? "

This time, Martin posed the query.

Of course, they were unaware.

Ricky decided to take advantage of their misunderstanding.

"As you all suspected, I've been a resident here for a long time."

So the rumor was accurate.

Everyone was perplexed.

Ricky pretended to know what would happen.

This led others to believe that he arrived here before them and had been a resident of the forest for some time.

He said,

"The long river itself lies beyond the forest. We won't have enough time to assist those who are left behind."

He looks at each of them individually after that, as if testing their determination.

He spent much time closely examining the young girl Catherine, as well as her disabled brother.

Quick wits were more useful than ambiguous skills, but there remained the issue of whether or not they could keep up in challenging circumstances.

Catherine clenched her teeth and replied, "I'll try my best," even though it was clear that she understood what he meant.

"Consequently, I won't be a burden to anyone."

After all, if she wanted to survive, she had no other choice but to do this.

There wouldn't be anyone else to look after the brother and sister duo if she lost the chance to be by Ricky's side.

Even if she were to pass away, she had made up her mind that she would at least try to live.

For her age, "she has quite the backbone."

She appeared to have a constant sense of accountability.

She had quick wits and made snap judgments, yet it was surprising to watch her mature so quickly.

It was therefore a little unfortunate.

She could have ascended to great heights if she had been a little older and had some assistance.

However, a young girl would not be able to readily survive on her own in this world.

Even I don't have the time to look after others, Ricky thought.

Although it's tragic, that was all there was to it.

He looked at every one of them before turning around.

"Don't disobey my command if you don't want to perish. Avoid being curious. I want your undivided attention and loyalty. Understand? "

Everyone gave a somber head nod.

Nothing was more significant than advice from a professional.

Everyone agreed that he was a survival expert, especially after seeing what Ricky was capable of.

"All right, let's go."

They started to go after getting their weapons ready and after gathering some tools, the torch, and the oil can.

"

Slash!

Ricky cut one of the goblins in half.

The small humanoid creature scream in pain before dying.

Argh!

[ Goblin ]

are a race of monsters capable of human-like thinking with many different colors of skin, sharp ears, and simple attire.

They are a peaceful race that can build a camp, make jewelry, and go on a hunt.

They are frequently spotted in small packs.

Although they appeared to be small, many of their kind joined the Throng, voluntarily or as a result of pressure from their commanders, leaving behind a race that had been ripped apart by the conflict between humans and the Sthrong.

[ Sthrong ]

Are a group of humanoid monsters that join forces for the upcoming Armageddon.

They mostly consist of Orcs, Ogre, Tauren, Trolls, and most recently Goblins.

These powerful and different ethnicities misunderstood and ignored, work to put aside their differences and come together as one to secure freedom for their people and succeed in a nation that has come to despise them.

Over diplomacy, action and strength are emphasized, and its leaders acquire respect quickly through politics.

The Sthrong's champions are concentrated on violence, giving the fighters a voice for survival.

They have comprised an alliance made up of a variety of different races and cultures who got together out of convenience to fight a hostile world that wanted to destroy them.

The Sthrong, a group of monsters led by The Orcs from the Central Plain, have persevered amid Tir's challenges by banding together and battling as brothers, comrades, or even shaky allies.

" Kill everyone you come across."

He issued a warning.

They weren't dangerous if there are few of them, but they would eventually become troublesome if more of them come.

Gulp!

Ricky was one of the six people that hesitantly entered the forest.

They kept a sharp eye on their surroundings and were always on high alert.

"They already behave that way."

They were alert, which was excellent, but if they tried to maintain it for several hours, they would become emotionally and physically worn out.

They wouldn't listen, even if Ricky tried to convince them.

It was because they had no idea what this location was all about.

They were able to draw lessons from their mistakes more quickly.

" Sir, there is an item here! "

[ Lesser Poison Immunity Potion ]

It's made from the goblins who tried to survive here for a long period.

"After fighting different types of monsters and exploring places, there will occasionally be artifacts like these,"

Ricky said, grabbing the magical item with one hand and pointing it out to everyone.

The object can be used by anyone who chooses to do so by holding it in their hands.

Ricky then returned the magical item to Catherine.

Catherine was taken aback for a bit.

" Can I keep it?"

" Of course. As you were the one who discovered it, it is yours."

He made a distinct line.

Everybody had to take responsibility for the objects they found on their own.

After a short distance of walking, Ricky indicated a tree.

"You can locate trees with unusually spherical, red leaves if you look closely. Everything that comes from this tree is useful. You must examine closely, though, as some trees with similar appearances are poisonous."

A few of the hanging plants that were growing on the tree were picked by him and put in his storage bag.

It was a Red Lotus that enhance brain capacity thinking.

Linley uttered.

"Can we take them?"

"Store everything you can get"

The " Red Oak" was a rare tree that was discovered in the Red Forest.
