Sitting around the table each of the elites of Heilig looked like thay had been beaten up.
Lorlon, the only left unscathed since he wasn't actually part of the elite looked at them a bit confused.
"Pride? Like the sin of pride? I thought the records spoke that he was a gigantic dragon, not a tall woman" he said, for him, Pride was a single entity that was long gone.
"Well, she called herself pride before knocking me into a building, my body aches all over..." spoke Minimil, rubbing her back.
Idil, the priestess could heal but it was preferable to let the body recover on its own for the most part so she hadn't healed everyone too much.
"I don't know if she is really Pride but she is an actual menace, it may have been a sudden attack but I didn't see anything coming" remarked Malamn, the fact that she had knocked the hell out of their best tank was certainly worrisome.
"Well, she didn't kill anyone and her attacks weren't crippling either, any idea why that is?" questionned Lorlon.
"None, she just spouted nonsense about being god and being Pride, for that matter, she certainly is very prideful in the theological sense" spoke Idil, still very much in pain from the hit but she had to follow her own idea of letting the wounds recover by themselves.
"Jhorn, you actually attacked her, what do you have to say?" then questionned Lorlon.
"She's fast to react, I had barely pulled my sword out and her fist was already shattering my nose" he said in a weird voice due to the nasal injury.
"Why did you attack her on sight anyways, none of us had had time to get the memo that a giant woman was after us and she perfectly hid her intent" asked Gnataniel.
"Why would anyone approach me outside of officials but to fight?" he said, causing many to give him strange looks.
"Hold on, are you telling me that whoever it is, if they aren't officials and approach you, you'll attack? How has their not been accidents already?" wondered Farsite.
"Do not worry, our cover up agency is very talented" said Lorlon, not elaborating any further.
"So that's why nobody ever sees you with a woman, you knock them out on sight!" uttered Rior as he rubbed his chin with his left hand since his right was slightly broken at the moment.
"So, all that we know is that a very tall woman wearing priestess clothing showed up out of nowhere, proclaimed herself to be god and Pride then punched you all one by one, is that right?"
"Yup"
"Indeed"
"That is perfectly right"
"She punched my guts so hard that I have had diarrhea since then"
"Not gonna lie, I kinda enjoyed it"
"My left tit turned blue, I did not"
"I can sometime still feel my bones vibrating..."
"She punched pretty lightly compared to you guys"
"I was sent flying through multiple windows personally, I got cut in place I had never been cut before"
"I guess she just wanted to test her fist on us"
"I really have no idea how I am suppose to report that but I'll manage, wish me luck" spoke Forlon before standing up.
Leaving the elites by themselves to talk about their injuries.
"Blue you say? That's not good at all! You should at least heal that" said Minimil as she approached Idil.
"It wouldn't do to have one of them fall off, now would it?" she added afterward.
"I don't know Mini, no one seems interested in them anyways" retorted the priestess as she leaned back in her chair.
"Ah, so you are still going on about that, don't worry, it will work out for you, you have power, status and you're pretty, it is surprising that you are struggling at all" spoke the aeromancer.
"How about you Bilam? You said that you were punched lightly but is that really true? You look a bit bruised..." she then adressed to the entomancer who was busy looking at a coackroach she found walking around.
"I just got scratched when getting sent to fly away but nothing is broken" responded the one with the worst title of each of them, Bilam, called The Insectophile.
"That is wonderful then, how is it going for you?" she asked, talking about her love life, Minimil was making sure that her younger teammates weren't wasting away their youth by focusing too much on their position as elites, there was no need to do so with Farsite since she was an elf, a wood elf to be exact.
"It's going great, I didn't tell you but I met someone just as interested in insects as me and he actually knows a lot too!" she responded.
"That is great then" said Lady Storm as she looked at the much smaller woman, Bilam was part Halfling, resulting in her being quite short compared to anyone else.
That Pride character must have really been holding back her punch with her as her fist was probably just as wide as Bilam's chest, it would have been really easy for her to severely injure her.
No one truly believed that they had run into the actual sin of pride, everyone was under the impression that the sins were ancient beings, beings old enough to have, for some, witnessed or even participated in the creation of the world, they should have all been dead for a long time.

As they thought about this, approaching one of the city on the shore surrounding the great lake that formed most of the Confederation Of Lacam, was a small figure.
Living on the shores were species of people that could either live both under and out of water or that relied heavily on bodies of water to feed, they were a small part of the confederation but made up the first line of defense and the face of the country.
Most people only knew Lacam as the cities on the shore, they had no idea how it was under the surface of the water.
One of the guards noticed the approaching figures and called for the others to help him for a bit.
