While still thinking about how unfaithful her husband was, Amanda finds herself at Katherine's office again.
Katherine was at her table tidying up a document file, which she just finished working on when her Secretary walked in and handed her an envelope. Katherine was torqued off when she received the letter and queried her Sec; "don't tell me it's the same freak that sent this letter again?" It had no stamp neither did it have any address. Nonetheless, she opened it and it wrote:
Dear Katherine White,
Your work has given me such a lot of pleasure that I felt I had to write to you. Somehow I missed your beautiful and elegant face last week at the - Give to the Needy Fundraising. I had to go on a business trip.
I requested someone to take your pictures and have video coverage of you when making a speech. I saw how gorgeous you looked in your black dress.
Have you ever had the experience of meeting someone and feeling that you had known the person for a long time? I have that feeling about you.
Thank you gorgeous, you'll keep hearing from me.
Your Admirer
She wondered who it could be and hissed.
Amanda sighs and sees Katherine at her house again. She checked her mailbox as soon as she got home and noticed the unstamped letters; she was annoyed and called her secretary who came a few minutes later.
When Katherine bought the house, she went through a lot to ensure keeping the address strictly private. All her bills went to her Secretary and whenever she wanted to hang out with James, she sent the address and warned him never to mistakenly disclose it to anyone to the extent that her friend, Drew didn't even know where she resided. She likewise gave her secretary a strict warning not to disclose it.
She then asked; "The previous letters, was there an address on any of them?"
"No! There's even no return address," her Secretary replied.
Katherine felt oddly frustrated at not being able to send a reply to the writer. The person has been writing to her for the past few weeks and it's starting to scare her.
Katherine instructed her Secretary to make a call to the police to investigate who kept sending the letter and delegate a cop to patrol her neighborhood for safety.
"You know what! Never mind! Why would I allow a little thing like this to get to me?" She reverted her instruction.
A few weeks later, Katherine received another letter expressing how she looked when exercising around the small park. She was shocked and had to call her secretary immediately to come over. After a few minutes, her secretary came in and she handed the letter to her. The secretary read the letter quoted; "You are so athletic, I loved the way you jogged this morning."
"This means whoever wrote this letter is watching me," Katherine said. "The son of a bitch followed me this morning. We have to call the cops to secure my home and neighborhood but they have to disguise themselves to protect me." Katherine expressed her grievance.
Weeks and months passed, the letters stopped and she stopped receiving them. But who could that admirer be? Amanda ponders as she is being taken to the day of Katherine's disappearance where she sees the unthinkable.
Katherine walked up to the door at the sound of the bell and opened it. It appeared she was familiar with the person but as Amanda sights the individual, she becomes confused. Could it be...?
Who is it?
