Fedyenka already forgot about her injury when she saw that it has stairs. She used her dress to bandage her hands. Then she went in. She went deeper and deeper. It was a one way stairway. It was getting darker the more she kept walking. She could still see somethings. Though it wasn't so clear. Suddenly, she found a small blue light. The light hid from her when she looked at it. She thought of catching it. But it kept running away. She chased after it, hoping to meet the end of this place and find a door. She didn't look back. Because she thought that if she did, she would lose the light. After a while, the light stopped going and then it got dimmer and dimmer.
In all of a sudden, a large blue flame got all over Fedyenka. It didn't bring any harm to her. Sometime later she found herself in a well organized lab. It felt like it's from the future. She saw herself lying on a bed while her head was connected with a device with cables made of optical fibre. She remembered what it's called. She suddenly remembered about the woman and the man who showered her with love and the person who is like her big brother. She tried to remember their faces but she couldn't. She started forgetting again. She didn't want to but her brain wasn't listening to her.
Then she suddenly found herself tied with a chair. Then she slowly opened her eyes. She still remembered about the people. But she couldn't remember about what the cables are made of and what she saw on the bed. She couldn't remember what they looked like.
"Ah, My Dear Highness, You are awake." said a woman. Fedyenka's vision was blurry so she couldn't see.
"The fish came without us setting the hook. What a pleasant surprise. Since you are awake I'll ask you a humble question, how are you, Fedyenka?" asked a man sitting on a chair.
Fedyenka's vision got better. She could see all the sages over there. She was startled. Even the sages who supported her and her family are now standing in front of her, doing nothing while the other sages are happy because all the fishes are caught.
"Sabia Fourth, you have done excellent job bringing Queen Maria here."
"I agree Sabia Fourteenth."
"We have to give some special credit to Sabia Third. She captured the most hard one. Ha ha ha!"
"Ugh...the bloodsucker's bloody red eyes. So ugly!"
These are all the things she could hear along with other dozens of negative words. Her mind was filled with rage and pain. She felt betrayed yet she was somehow feeling relieved. Her vision got blurry and she saw the same lab again after feeling the immense pain. Then she got back being the princess again. She saw her brother lying on the floor covered with blood. She could even see the relic. She felt the immense pain again and the same scenario happened. It happened over and over again. Then she screamed and a wrathful slash of blood got all over the place. The cycle of pain stopped.
"Oh God...My Dear, you have awoken your wrath! Listen, only vampire wrath can open the seal because the lock of the relic was made by thousands of vampire's blood and flesh. The bloody man killed many. There were few with golden blood and their blood is the reason why it cannot be burnt. The ones with golden blood were the only daywalkers. We, the v- so-"
Fedyenka couldn't hear the rest from the Queen. She realized that the thing Queen Maria was about to say was for good, but if she heard it, it would be a great massacre. Then suddenly, she saw a man in a gray dress and red hair coming toward her. He said, Something will happen. Chose to remember the important one." Then the man was tattered to pieces. Fedyenka found herself in a room. She felt like she is laying on something. She could close her eyes and open it but everything she saw was endless darkness.
"She stayed like that for a long time. She doesn't know if months has passed. But she didn't feel weak. She couldn't even move, how could she know she thought. She suddenly started feeling weird. Her heartbeat was getting fast. She screamed. Her deep voice felt irritating to herself. She got a feeling that this is the time she has to chose. She wondered, "If I write my goal somewhere after waking up from this, I'll be okay."
She closed her eyes tight, then opened them. She couldn't feel the warmth she just felt. Now she doesn't even remember if she had ever felt any warmth. She found herself lying on the bed of a room. Everyone's reaction was stern. A woman just said,
"Well she finally woke up. Tsk Tsk, she falls asleep too much. Give this chick some coffee, hah ha."
Fedyenka was confused. She subconsciously got up from the bed and tried standing up. She fell. Some people wanted to lift her and take her to the bed again but she slapped one of the men with the back of her hand. She got close to a desk, took a pen and wrote something on it. No one could read what it was. After writing it, Fedyenka fell asleep again. She doesn't even remember her name anymore.
This time when she woke up, she saw the same man and woman who adored her with love. She also saw that so called big brother of hers. Though, she couldn't remember anything about them. She could at least talk well. She asked,
"Hello. Can you tell me where I am?"
"Kristen, go and check on her."
"Yes, Ma'am." said a woman with short hair wearing a medical apron.
"What is it? You need somethin'?" said the woman.
"Yes...Where am I?"
"You are in a lab. This man and woman runs it. And about you, you are...do you remember anything?"
"No I don't."
"Oh, I see. Well you are a tool."
"I'm a tool? What am I used for?"
"To complete missions."
"Why am I getting a hunch?..." thought Fedyenka.
"Alright then. I'll leave you as you are now. Rest well. You've got some missions ahead." said the woman.
"Okay...I guess."
Fedyenka felt like she saw a long dream and now she remembers nothing about it. She felt an urge to eat something but she didn't feel hungry. She slowly got off the bed.
"It seems like you can move. I'll send you to the counselor now then."
"What? Who?"
"You are a tool. Tools don't talk too much."
Fedyenka stayed silent. The man with a beard told the man without one to take her to the 'counselor'. He told her to follow him. She had no other choice but to follow him. They entered a room. After entering it, Fedyenka was amazed. There were many things like flying creatures, a woman with cat ears laying on the bed, a man who looks like a vampire and an aquarium which had a big shark. The nameplate said that it's called Megalodon. She wanted to ask some questions but the people seemed really hostile.
"Alright, this is where you will be staying from now on. Fedyenka..."
After hearing the name, she saw something which disappeared in a glimpse of an eye. She spaced out.
"I'll leave then." said the man without beard.
"Man without beard-" said Fedyenka.
"It's Yuri."
"Yuri, what is this place?"
"It's called 'The Hall of the Greats' these days." said Yuri and then he left. Fedyenka was left all alone in the room which was filled with people who were busy with works and staring at a screen in front of them. Someone called Fedyenka and went to her. She was startled. The man was old. He told her that he is the counselor.
