Fedyenka got worried and asked, "Where was he last time? Doesn't this whole dang place have cameras?"
"He is a top ranked sage. We cannot use CCTV cameras on him!" said the man who came with the counselor.
"Aight I don't care whether or not he is a sage just CHECK THE CAMERAS."
"!(O-O)!"
Bea hid behind Fedyenka.
"Fedyenka, you have gone through a lot today. Miss Charlotte and Mr. Spencer will come visit you often. Go to sleep now." said the counselor. He slowly sat on a chair in the room and asked for some water. The man who came with him handed him a bottle of water.
"Mr. Jamal. Sir, Please don't stress out too much. You are getting old. Your blood pressure is getting abnormal again."
"I'm fine Abir. Just...leave me alone for a while. Go and look for him." said the counselor with his usual cracked voice.
All the machines that were activated, were put to sleep. The counselor left the place along with the man named Abir. Fedyenka was left with questiones every time they appeared. She was annoyed. She kept getting flashbacks of blurry memories. She kept getting those again and again. She laid down on the bed and fell asleep.
After quiet a while, she opened her eyes and took a look. She found herself in the same room she was in. She looked for Bea but didn't see her anywhere. She started searching the room looking for clues to find the meaning of the message. She searched every book in the room for clues. Then she suddenly remembered that the room might have CCTV cameras. She still kept looking into the books then she laid on the bed and said, "Boooooriiiinggg..." so that the spectators won't suspect her. Someone knocked on the door in all of a sudden. The woman with hideous face came. Fedyenka's heart was pumping out of fear but she still kept her cool in front of the lady and asked her,
"Who are you?"
"I'm Miss Charlotte the counselor spoke of. How are you doing?" said the woman.
"I'm fine Miss Charlotte. What about you?"
"Oh dear, you really are too sympathetic. That won't do." said the woman with a smiley face. When she smiled, she seemed less scary to her for the warmth in her face. Fedyenka smiled at her as well.
"What were you doing?" said the woman.
"I was just checking the stuffs in the room. I was so bored. The books seemed boring too. I couldn't make heads or tails of most of the things I read." said Fedyenka.
"Ha Ha Ha."
"What's funny?"
"Oh dear, those books are academic books. You won't understand a thing before you training. You'll learn the things slowly."
"Oh...thanks Ma'am."
"For what?"
"For the warmth. Not many people are as warm as you here. All of them always yells at me."
"Honey, you have just met them. By time, you'll see how much they loves you."
"I'll wait then." said Fedyenka with a smiling face.
"By the way, I almost forgot the reason I came here. Yuri is okay. He just went outside without any device, to relax a little. Every student he has gotten in his life were all annoyers. You are one that didn't annoy him. I guess you will be his favorite."
"Oh he's okay then. Goodbye Miss Charlotte."
The woman said goodbye to her as well and then she left with a smile. Fedyenka still stayed cautious. She had a deep hunch that the woman didn't come to her to simply see how she's doing. Rather, she came to see if she is up to anything that opposes them. She laid down on the bed and fell asleep again.
She saw a dream. In that dream, she met a young woman who was obese and had short legs and short hands. The woman was standing still in the middle of a garden. She was going to touch the woman, but suddenly she fell down in an endless pit which woke her up. When she opened her eyes, she saw Bea and Yuri.
"Oh my goodness, I thought you are dead!" said Yuri.
"What? Why?" said Fedyenka.
"I called you a lot of times but, you seemed to sleep so deep that it made me think if you have eaten anything from my lab out of your curiosity."
"I didn't move an inch from this room."
"Knowing how cunning you are you could fool the spectators as well."
"So the people who are watching me are called spectators right?"
"Yes."
"Are they really people?"
"Yes but no."
"What does that supposed to mean?"
Yuri didn't answer her question and moved to another topic.
"Oh. I believe you have already met you companion. She told me that you named it Bea, or should I say 'her'."
"Bee. (^-^)"
The robot made a happy face on her screen. Yuri stared at Fedyenka for a while. It made Fedyenka wonder if he is thinking about something about her.
"What are you thinking?" said Fedyenka.
"I'm thinking...you can be married to a distinguish gentleman!"
"The fu-. What?!?"
"Mind your language. I was just joking of course, no need to take it so seriously. Marrying as a member of this palace is no easy work."
"Why are you talking about that in all of a sudden?"
"So that you will be aware of the consequences of falling in love."
"OK."
"Bee? (0-0)?"
Bea's face was confused just like Fedyenka. Jokingly Fedyenka thought, "Maybe he's got an urge to marry someone. That man...is a funny one. He's like the old fart ahem...I meant, the counselor. It's the best if I don't make a habit of calling him that thing."
"What are you thinking?" said Yuri staring down at her with his chin up.
"Nope. Nothing. Nothing at all."
"You were thinking something ill of me. You are too easy to read Fedyenka. I know that it has only been two days but you have to make some serious progress in a month."
"It's been two days?!? I have been sleeping for two days?!?"
"Not quiet. You have slept for thirty nine hours which is far from being two days. Aren't you starving?"
"I only feel immense pain it seems. Does starving hurt?"
"Yes it does, like hell. You felt pain when I adjusted your eyes, right?"
"Yes I did. A little bit though."
"That's great!"
Hearing what Yuri said, Fedyenka stayed silent.
"I didn't say it's great because you felt pain. Figure the rest by yourself. Come to me in thirty minutes. I don't know how just do it when the time comes." said Yuri. He opened the door, left the room and then slammed the door. She asked Bea about how she is supposed to go. Bea showed her by her screen that she will lead her. She asked her about what preparations she should take before going. Bea told her to pick a new dress from the closet. The room wasn't too big. Inside that room, she easily found the closet and picked a casual dress. Bea asked her for what she is wearing such casual outfit. Fedyenka replied,
"Because it's comfortable. A casual top and skirt with leggings is enough for me. I ain't going on a hangout, why would I wear something fancy?"
Bea just 'Beed' like she does and handed Fedyenka a bracelet of white beads.
"Hmm...what's this?" said Fedyenka while looking for a clue about the bracelet. She held somewhere for a long time and rubbed it. Then a voice said hello to her. She was startled to hear that.
"I am your very personal assistant. You can give me a name or change my voice to either male or female. What would you like me to do?" said the voice.
"Uhm...Your name...how about Melissa?"
"Melissa at your service then! What would you like me to do?"
"Where is the bathroom?"
"It's to the left of the closet. Are you going to pee or poop?"
"Why am I supposed to tell you that?"
"Sorry..."
"Okay Bea, I'll leave Melissa with you. I'll be back in a bit. Oh by the way Melissa, does bathrooms have CCTV cameras too?"
"No it doesn't. Can I know your name, Ma'am?"
"Just call me Fedyenka. I have to hurry."
She went to the bathroom and slammed the door. Then she washed her face while looking here and there a little by moving her eyes. She had a feeling that if she looked by moving her face, they would suspect her if this place has cameras. She couldn't see any CCTV cameras anywhere. She looked at the mirror a little and said,
"I look good."
While she was staring at the mirror some information about it popped up like last time.
"Reflecting coating-silver. Twenty nine years old. Has an object behind it."
Seeing the information, she had no doubt that the object is a CCTV camera.
She stayed even more cautious from that time. She went outside the bathroom and told Bea and Melissa that she still had a sleepy feeling so she washed her face a little.
"Did you pee-" Melissa couldn't finish her sentence.
"WHY ARE YOU-"
"Sorry!!!"
"What if I did and what if I didn't?"
"I was just going to tell you to get some water with the logic of-"
"Aight enough."
"Okay, sorry."
Melissa stayed silent.
Fedyenka told Bea to lead her. Bea led her to the place where Yuri is at. The place also seemed like another world to her.
