Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: the endless battle

This time my dreams wasn't of death I was floating in a river of black and in this river I seen souls screaming and reaching out to me this river seemed to emanate from me every heartbeat and breath the river thumped and move these souls was reaching out to me and I heard their voices child of death help us save us us I glared at all these souls and in a cold commanding voice I said enough all of you and when I said that my eyes started to glow green and my killing intent came out when this happened all the souls screamed and retreated from me I looked over them all and in that same commanding voice said I will not help you this is the river sticks this means your already on your way to the afterlife where you will be judged so stop pestering me to help you or save you if you had cones to pay the ferryman you wound not have to swim throw the sticks so shut up and keep moving you will find no mercy here the souls swam off screaming in pain I side and closed my eyes and laid back down on the water and I floated there till I woke up for real Layla still was sleeping next to me it was still pitch dark but do to my dark site I could see just fine I slowly got out of bed making shore not to wake Layla up I pulled on my shoes and throw on my shirt I rolled the sleeves up to elbows I picked up a belt that had the repeating pistol on my left hip and on the right hip was one of those navy colts lastly I throw my satchel on it had ammo in it and a pocket knife plus a few glass viles in it i picked up a wood axe that I found on the battlefield and I stood up before I left I looked to Daisy who was staring at me from the other bed and in a whisper I said protect and watch her Daisy nodded I untied the tent flap and walked outside I tied the tent behind me I shouldered the axe and walked to get some firewood it was probably 4 something and it was probably in the late January how I could tell was easy the trees and plants many of the trees started to have small leaves on it and small plants started to pop up I walked through the woods with no worries I was looking for a dead tree for wood and maybe a tree that has sap so I can us it as a fire starter luckily I found a pine tree I walked up to it and took out the pocket knife I flipped out the blade which locked in place and I peeled off some bark that looked dark and under that bark sticking to it was sap I scrapped it off with the knife and into one of those small glass vials I got plenty of it after I was done I put a small wood stick in the vial to act like a lid I put it in my bag I shouldered the ax and started to look for firewood after a bit of walking I found a good dead tree it wasn't big or to small I started to chop pieces off it after a few minutes as I was gathering the pieces I heard leaves move but I wasn't shocked someone had been following me since the camp might as well come out Pup I said picking up the wood shit and stepping from behind a tree was Slade scratching his head a little embarrassed I am sorry I followed you I just he started to say quickly I chuckled cutting him off pup you need to work on your sneaking I knew you was following me so come and help me carry the wood Slade was shocked but nodded he helped me pick up the wood I picked up the axe with wood under one shoulder saying come on pup the sun is about to come up and Bill will have orders for is he nodded we walked back to the camp the whole way I could tell Slade wanted to ask me something but was hesitating I looked to him as we were walking and said pup if you keep on hesitating like that you won't catch any woman's eyes he glared at me saying angrily I have cot many woman's eyes I just didn't like them they was too soft I want a good strong wife to watch my back I laughed saying so you like the wild ones good but if you hesitate like that in front of them they will definitely say hell no he huffed nothing more we just got to camp when the sun just started to rise I put the wood down in front of my tent Slade was about to put his load down with mine but I stopped him saying pup what you doing that is your wood you carried it so you did all the work hard work equals good pay that would is your payment for working hard you understand he was shocked but nodded saying thank you sir Nekros and he walk over to his tent putting the wood down I used the axe to scrape off chunks of bard and strips off wood I thin took out that vail and using a small stick I scooped some out and I placed it over these strips of wood I used want back inside my tent and grabbed my flint and steel Layla was still sleeping I smiled seeing how cut she looked I walked back outside and I stacking some sticks around the wood strips and I stricted the flint with the steel making sparks it took me a few tries to get the strips of wood to smoke I blow on it and I did this till a small fire started to burn over the wood strips and when the sap started to burn the fire got a bit bigger and the sticks around it feel in on it catching fire I sat down on a place of wood and like that we got fire I said smiling I waited for a bit to this any big pieces of wood on the fire just sticks till I was satisfied that the fire would not go out that was when I put bigger wood on it it was about 6 the sun was shining brightly through the trees and more people like me was starting fires I want back into my tent to see Layla was awake stretching she looked over to me smiling good morning sleeping beauty about time Layla flipped me off saying fuck you I chuckled picking up my cattle and the coffee beans and the grill saying coffee will be ready in a bit and I walked back outside I put the grill over the fire I want back inside to get Layla's cattle to and I shadow walked to where the creak was I filled the metal cattle with water and when they were full I shadow walked back in front of my tent putting both on the grill I want back in the tent and grabbed my volcanic repeating rifle and a cleaning cit I walked back outside and sat on the wood block I looked at the rifle in my hands and side getting to work on it I entered the bullets out of it and damn that was hard due to all the mud on it after that I started to take it apart I would lay out all the parts in front of me I put all the small parts on a rag so they didn't get lost I started the slow process of cleaning all the parts Layla walked out of the tent and want to the woods Daisy followed her after a few minutes she came back I already had the gun apart my then and was cleaning the barrel the water in the cattle started to bubble Layla asked where was the coffee beans I took out the bag from my satchel and throw it to he not looking up from what I was doing I was running a ramrod throw the end of the barrel and thank gods I did cuz when I started to push the ramrod throw it stopped I glared at it and put more muscle into my push and when I did I pushed out a shit tune of mud from inside it this mud was hard so luckily all it needed was a good push to get the big chunks out but there was still some mud and gun powder sticking to the inside of the barrel so I ran took a rag and put a little oil on it and pushed the rag throw the barrel I did this 5 times and had to change rags 3 times cuz the others got too dirty and finally after I ran the third rag throw the last time the barrel was cleaned there was still a little gunpowder in it but the mud was gone I sat the barrel down and started to clean the other parts and it was much easier than the barrel as I was doing this Layla pored her self some coffee she also put a cup next to me but I didn't see it yet after that she started to do the same thing as me with her double barrel shotgun but hers was nowhere near as dirty as mine when I was all done the camp was up and moving everyone was drinking coffee and cleaning there weapons and talking with each other Slade was nowhere to be seen but that wasn't surprising he is the messenger boy for Bill so his job starts bright and early I just got done putting my volcanic repeating rifle back together and it didn't look anything like the gun I found last night I was loading it when Slade ran out of Bills tent and ran straight to us when he got to us he stopped and stood up straight saying the captain would like to speak with you I took a drink of coffee and damn it was the dark stuff but I didn't mind it may taste bad but it woke me up fully Layla and I stood up she loaded both barrels and slipped it up closing it and slung it over her shoulder as for me I simple picked up my rifle in one hand and my coffee in the other saying ok pup where heading that way know Slade nodded and ran off to deliver more messages Layla and I walked straight to Bill's tent but Bill was outside sitting on a wood chair smoking a pipe we stood at attention when we got in front of him I said sir you wanted to see us Bill smiled and said at ease we stopped standing at attention and I took a drink from my cup Bill looked at us both saying I got a report from the mean force that none of their dead came back to life tell me was that you're doing he looked at me when he asked that I smiled taking another sip of coffee saying maybe it was maybe it wasn't Bill smiled hearing my response they also said that some of there dead was messing some things off them like Guns, ammo and food but that's only to list a few things tell me was that you're doing I looked to him saying I don't know what you're talking about sir Bill chuckled saying ok lad I will let the man force know that the man they're looking for ant none of my men that being said I got a mission for you two and he through us a map Layla cot it and opened it we both looked it over I see where the mean force is I could also guess where the other army is sense I seen it last night and in the east of the mean force was a dot that's where we where at the moment but to the north of us was an area called dead means hill and to the northwest of us was another area circled called simple ghost town two the west of us was another circle called cyclops crick and in the middle of this map between the two armies was another circled area called dead man's war that was the closest but it's right in the middle of the battlefield so it's one of the most dangerous areas Bill let us look over the map I looked up to him saying which area do you want us to start first he took a long drag from his pipe before answering I want you all to prove you can fight so your first mission will be the closest don't worry you won't be going alone right when he said that Slade ran beside us he slotted Bill saying sir messages delivered Bill nodded saying good know Slade I got another mission for you Slade you will go with these two as both my messenger and soldier if anyone tries to stop your path you will tell them you are acting on orders from Wild Bill Hickock do you understand Slade slotted yes sir Bill looked to our good luck and with that he empties out his pipe and wants back onto his tent I looked to Slade saying Pup meet us at the horses when you got all your equipment Slade nodded and ran off to his tent I looked over to Layla who was still looking over the map Layla what you doing I asked she looked up to me saying I am memorizing this map and where these marks are I razed a eyebrow saying can you remember all that she glanced back down to the map and rolling it up saying yes my siblings and I can remember maps easily y can't you I laughed shaking my head saying not in the same way but let's go get ready she nodded we walked back to our tent I emptied my satchel and only put ammo and a one hardtack in it the pocket knife was also put back in it as for my belt I put two empty dagger sheaths angled on the back I pulled out my switchblade and pushed the button and appearing in my hands was my curved daggers I sheathed them on my belt I made sure both my pistols was loaded the same for my Henry M1860 repeating rifle I used a belt as a sling for it the last thing I put on was my hat and tied around my neck was a black bandana Layla had her bastard sword on her back like normal on her belt on her left hip was a LeMat revolver and on her right hip was a colt single action revolver behind her colt was a bowie knife slung over her left shoulder was her 12 gauge double barrel shotgun loaded with slugs she also had a satchel on and tied around her head was a red bandana I looked to her all asking you ready she smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips saying are you I chuckled always I looked down to Daisy who was bigger then last night he was about the size of a full-sized wolf know I pat his head saying you ready to fight with us Daisy looked up to us and let out a deep wolf I smiled nodding saying meet us at the horses he jumped off the cot wolf wolf said as be ran out of the tent I shot the tent flaps behind him tying them shut I turned to Layla saying you look hot and I kissed her when I did we shadow walked to Fives who was laying on the ground its eyes were dark but when we appeared its eyes started to glow the same thing happened last night I thought but I didn't put much thought in it Five stood up asking are we moving I nodded yes we are I pat it's head Layla jumped on the back of Fives Daisy came running up to us wagging his tail Slade was all that was left I thought we waited for him after 10 minutes I heard someone running up to us I turned to look and what I seen made me chuckle Slade had on his normal gray uniform but on his right hip was a Smith & Wesson Model 1 behind this pistol was a knife on his left hip was his satchel and strong on his back was a Spencer M1860 repeating carbine on his head was a normal gray cowboy hat he was running up to us tying a red bandana around his neck but before he did that he tucked a necklace under his clothes I only cot a glimpse of it but it looked like a Scarab Beetle and that's what I was smiling about so he already knows Evelyn how interesting he ran in front of us saying sorry I kept you waiting I leaned down and looked him in the eyes he was probably only 5'5 and I was 6'4 I looked into his brown eyes that shined I could tell he hadn't seen anyone die or killed anyone hell I bet last night was his first time seeing what war does and seeing a dead body I looked into his eyes and in a clear cold voice said pup, where we are going, will be hell on earth man will die and you will see the worst in mankind my eyes got cold and I picked him in the chest where the necklace was, if you want to live this war do not rely on other people's strength to save you only rely on your own strength to survive the day, do you understand me pup if you ever want to see that girl again you will have to use your own listen to your words I shrugged saying he will have to cuz if he doesn't then he is dead Layla was shocked but nodded Ezra walked next to us with Slade on his back I looked to him and nodded I pulled on fives rains turning it around and we ran into the woods Slade following and Daisy running next to fives keeping up with it by the time we got to the hill I could hear people screaming but there screams was drowneded out by gunshots, and explosion the air smelled of blood, piss and death we got to the top of the hill looking down to the battlefield I seen cannons firing and dirt flying up I also saw men shooting and charging at each other with bayonets a fixed to there rifles or holding knives, swords, sticks, Axes anything that was in reach they were using but in the middle of the field I saw it man would get shot or stabbed and would hit the ground dead but after a few seconds they would get back up and charged back into battle like nothing had happened the living a man was staying in the back shooting cannons, and rifles at each other Layla yelled the fuck it's true but how I have never heard of any zombies that can't die what about to Hunter I blinked and when I opened them they were glowing green and when I looked at these zombies and what I seen shocked me their souls where glowing green it wasn't bright till I looked in the dead middle of this battle there was two bodies that glowed brightly and from their feet, I saw that same green glow sink into the ground shit I sying Slade turned to me asking what is it sir but when he saw my glowing eyes he immediately looked away in fright I smiled evilly saying I know what's going on and how to stop it but it's going to be a bitch I told them what I seem Layla laughed saying of course it can never be easy can it Slade looked scared and in a shaky voice he said you're telling me we have to move throw all that and not die and kill them two-man are you fucking insane normal weapons can't even harm them what makes you think yours could I chuckled saying my normal weapons probably not without blowing their brains out as for Laylas and I none normal weapons could kill them easily and you have the power to do the same as us if you channel your power into your weapons Slade looked at me like I was crazy I looked to him saying stop acting pup I can smell the underworld and hell fire on you when Slade heard my words he looked down with shame saying I can't sir I just can't I shrugged saying then aim for the legs and arms to slow them down if you can't hit there head let's move the longer we wait the more the dead walk and I spired Fives on Five want into a run we was on the east side of this battle and holy hell this was going to be fun Layla I am trusting my back to you again dear Layla laughed saying I am doing the same with mine let's show these fuckers how to really fight I chuckled I took my rifle off my back and put it in the saddle holster saying it's fully loaded dear us it when you need it Daisy guard Layla wolf wolf he said I nodded saying I call upon you the Duke and jumping out from Fives shadow was Duke she ran next to us I jumped on her back saying let's clear the way as I pulled out my repeating pistol and pulled out one of my daggers when I did the other dagger disappeared from its sheath and my sickle sword farmed in my hand we was getting close people started to see us the living members of the rebels side didn't shoot at us seeing our uniforms but the same couldn't be said for the Union side when they seen is they started to open fire as for the undead be it the rebels undead or the Union undead they all started to shoot at us Duke started to jump side to side as for Fives it simply want straight at them the bullets did nothing to it as for Layla her clothes started to turn red and forming on her hands was blood red gloves her shoes turned into blood red boots and farming over her face was a blood red bandana it clocked her neck and the bandana on her head started to turn blood red and two small horns formed throw the bandana as for her shirt and pants they simply turned blood red and slowly moving slowly up the metal on her guns was blood the bullets hit Layla's clothes but didn't go throw them like that they was hitting was metal running beside her was Daisy he was doing the same as Duke jumping from side to side as for me I would deflect bullets if they were going to hit me or Duke I wasn't faster then bullet but when I use my valuable detection I can guess where the bullets are going it took focus and skill both I had if I got really good I could not only deflect bullets but also send them back to the shooter but I wasn't that skilled yet Duke jumped over a volly of bullets and landed on one of the shooters as she did that I swung my sickle sword cutting undead heads off at the same time I started to shoot my repeating pistol aiming for their heads Duke didn't stop moving after the jump he was running down the middle of this army slapping undead aside like they was toys she didn't bite any of them but I could understand y Fives ran behind us on the path we was making for it Layla was swinging her bastard sword with one hand and shooting her double barrel with her other at this point her the barrels on her shotgun was blood red and the bullets she was shooting out of it looked like slugs if slugs looked like sharp spikes and was made out of blood totally normal with each pull of the trigger undead would get spiked to the ground he it a spike in the head, chest leg just the sheer power of her shotgun glow undead back off their feet she was also swinging her sword cutting heads off but I think she was having fun glowing zombies off their feet cuz she used her shotgun more then her sword Daisy was lunging at zombies ripping their throats out and breaking necks wolf wolf they said lunging at another that was pointing it's pistol at Layla one head latched onto a arm as for the other head it snapped around this zombie's neck both heads jerked down this zombie's head and arm snapped off from the strength Daisy put into it boom a cannonball landed in front of Duke I said using my sickle sword to block a big piece of metal from the cannonball from hitting Duke but that means I couldn't block my self much I deflected some of the metal pieces with my repeating pistol but I wasn't fast enough to bloke one big piece of metal it embedded its self into my right side luckily it didn't hit anything important the bad news was it hit like hell but I couldn't pull it out unless I wanted to bleed out so I just ignored the pain with anger and adrenaline ok Hunter is done messing around and when I said that the green fire in my eyes got more intense and farming out of shadow on my hands was gloves made from shadow and moving up my arms my coat started to turn black it want down my body and my pants doing the same thing it want up to my neck and head my face got covered by the black bandana around my neck and my hat got darker the only thing you could see of my face was just my glowing green eyes the rest of my face was in shadow and spreading across my mask is a huge green jester mask smile and forming throw my hat is two black horns my sickle sword started to glow with a black fire that ran down the edge making it look sharp as for my repeating pistol moving from my hand was small green veins that ran throw the hole pistol the barrel and lever got darker and those veins shining from it as for the chamber it slowly started to turn gold and black veins started to run throw it making chains and on these chains was screaming skulls with a spike and chain running through their mouths I spun the pistol racking another round into the chamber Duke heard my words and smelled my blood she roared out saying how dare you bastards I will tare you all apart when she roared that the area got ice cold around us to the point you could see her breath and farming on her pays was black ice gauntlets her white claws extending out and two of her front fangs got longer Duke was a tiger but not a normal one she was a fucking saber tooth tiger and when she want to slap a zombie aside that zombie shot to the side like a cannonball hit it and anything in its path either exploded into dark red mist or want with it I laughed seeing that as I through my sickle sword like a boomerang and my sword spun like a boomerang anything in it's path got sliced in half and like a boomerang my sword slow back to my hand as I cot it I started to shoot all around me shooting out from my pistol was black spikes it didn't have the same amount of power as Layla's shotgun but it still had enough force to jerk there head back we were about to the middle of this battle the closer we got the older and the more broken the body's where Duke and I cleared the path for Layla and Fives as they watched my back and Daisy watch there's I heard another whistling noise coming from my right but this time I was ready Duke jumped as I swung my sword I cut that cannonball in half like it was nothing the two pieces flew passed me hitting the undead to my left Duke landed tearing another undead in half under her in front of us I could see the two zombies that were glowing like a Christmas tree but before we could get closer I sensed something behind me it was Slade he had been following us the whole time but he didn't do anything he didn't use his powers or hell even shoot he just had his pegasus run behind Fives a few times Layla had to save him from being shot or ripped off his pegasus cuz he was hesitating again but I sensed his pistol get ripped off his pegasus and two bayonets stab next to his pistol shit I said disappearing off Duke yelled go I will be back Duke roared I appeared behind the zombies stabbing down at Slade I swung my sickle sword cutting ones head off as for the other I shot it in the head these two bodies the ground next to Slade he screamed seeing that but he was rutted in place from fright my mask disappeared and I glared down at him saying what are you doing Pup I thought I told you if you wanted to live you got to fight you gave me your word you wouldn't be a burden to us he simple stared up to me wide-eyed three zombies charged at me two of them thrust there bayonets at me as the other was reloading his rifle behind them I moved my body put if way of one blade as for the other I deflected another blade and in one motion I cut both zombie's heads off as I raised my pistol shooting the other in the head two black spikes stick in its head these body's dropped all around me but Slade still started up to me wide-eyed I turned to him and slapped him in the face still holding my pistol screaming fight pup fight to see Evelyn again that seemed to snap him out of it he blinked and woosh his skin melted off the only thing was left was a white skull with fire burning all around it this skull looked up to me and in its entry eye sockets was a black fire appeared and in a ghostly voice he said sir I want to live I holstered my pistol as I put another zombie down as I picked up his rifle I looked down to him my mask appearing over me face and in my demonic voice I held out his gun saying prove it Pup and stop with the sir you can call me Hunter Slade took his gun from me when he did the barrel burst Into flames after the fire settled down the barrel and chamber was made of obsidian with red veins running through it and in his ghostly voice he said ok Hunter I pulled him up turned around saying follow me pup let's get back to the party I side that as pulled out my navy colt the barrel on it was black with blue veins running through the barrel the chambers was gold and on each chamber was skeleton snake's ready to lunge and the veins on the barrel looked like fire and in that fire, you could see burning screaming souls and the hammer was gold I cocked the hammer back saying let's go and I charged to the west where Layla, Daisy, Five and Duke was Slade clocked back his hammer running behind me I slid under a bullet as I was sliding I swung my sword cutting legs off zombies I would then flip unto my feet shooting a zombie in the head blowing it's brains out Slade ran behind me and shooting anything that got close to him a zombie thrust a knife at him he blocked it with his rifle and pulled out his knife and stabbed up into its head the zombie summed to the ground but Slade didn't care he kept on moving he flipped his rifle around and used it like a bat hitting another zombie head off but also shattering his gun stock shit he said throwing it two the side and pulled out his pistol which also burst into flames he held his pistol in one hand and his knife in the other I laughed saying not bad pup as I deflected four bayonets with my sickle sword I thin swung my sword as it cut throw these zombies with ease but I didn't stop there as I swung my sword I let go of the band but the sword didn't moving it started to spin and it did a circle around me as I was running as my sword did that I brought my pistol up and boom boom boom boom with every shot a zombies head had a hole in it after 6 shots I spun my pistol on my finger as I cot my blade when I did all the zombies hit the ground we was about to Fives and Layla as for Ezra he was being protected my Daisy hurry up pup we are about there I said glancing back to slade as I cut a zombie in half gun and all Slade was shooting all around him and stabbing zombies in the head he yelled to me saying fuck you not everyone is as skilled as you Hunter I laughed shooting twice saying pup if you stick with us I promise your skill will improve Slade stabbed a zombie in the head then he flipped around shooting another in the head he side saying I shore hope so cuz compared to you I look pathetic I laughed saying pup you ant seen shit yet and just to prove my point I stabbed my sword into the ground where there was shadow and exploding out from me was shadows which impaled zombies all around me but I wasn't done yet I then swung my sword up and all those shadows swung up for a moment nothing happened but then thump thump splat the zombies around me started to hit the ground from there chest up was cut in half Slade was shocked but I said pup get back on Ezra know that snapped him out of it he ran over to Ezra and settled up I disappeared and reappeared on Duke's back she was just slapped another zombie to the side I looked in front of me and there standing in front of us was two soldiers both of them stopped fighting with each other and looked over to us with dead eyes the rebel one said who are you and y did you interrupted this family fight the union soldier said yea I don't care who you are but this is a family matter stay out of it stranger I shrugged and in my cold demonic voice said sorry boys but this little fight is over as for who I am well you can call me death the rebel man glared at me saying death you don't look to tough to me and then union man said yea I agree I jumped off Duke and landed in front of her saying enough I do not care what you got to say you have cheated death long enough not only for you but for all these other souls I am here to check all your souls and put a stop to this when I said that I let my killing intention out and when they felt the cold feeling they screamed a unholy scream there faces extending and turning dead they charged me angrily there eyes glowing that same green color I see on their souls one pulled his pistol and started to shoot at me the other charged at me with a axe I dodged the belts my body moving unnaturally the pistol man screamed again angrily as his brother swung down his axe at me I moved to the side and in one clean motion I swung my sword spinning around him as I raced my navy colt to the other brother I looked down my sits and pulled the trigger saying rest boys and good fight the hammer dropped and boom a blue bullet flying out of my barrel it sank into that brothers head as the other brother behind me head hit the ground both bodies hit the ground at the same time I spun my pistol and holstered it and I sheathed my daggers when the two body's hit the ground silence feel over the battlefield all the zombies on the field turned and looked at me after a few seconds passed a chair broke out and then thump thump thump body's started to hit the ground I slowly raced my hand and a green fire appeared above me I snapped and from the body's on the ground floating up is little blue balls I made a fist and jerked my arm back to me and all these blue balls shat at me Standing on my left was Duke and on my Right was Daisy they looked up into this blue fire and Dukes eyes started to glow black and white and Daisy eyes started to glow purple I looked up to this green fire ball my green eyes shining saying come we will send you two the other side come we are death and when I finished all these souls shot at us and entered the fire I heard laughter and people saying thanks after a minute all the souls was done I looked down two these two brothers snapping my fingers and rising up from them is a green ball I am not a judge but I do have power in the underworld so I Hunter Nekros prince of death send you to get judged in the cart of hades may the gods have mercy on your soul and I moved my hand to me and those light shot into the fire and I heard two man voice one said thank you sir death but the other voice was screaming you mother fucker how dear you but the rest of his sentence got cut of I lowered my hand and walked back two Duke and getting back on her let's move I said my eyes still glowing green before the shock wares of and the battle starts again I said two the others scream with pain done your good to go Jim that man on the bed slowly sat up and limped his way out of the tent the medic walked over to a bull and washed the blood off his hands and put all his tools in bungling hot water the doc was drying off his hands when he turned around to see us this man was white but unlike most doctor this man was jacked and around him was a belt on one side he had a medic mag on the other he had a pistol ow Slade my good lad what do you need and y area these to in my tent Slade smiled saying hello Doc Hunter here it's hurt we just git back from a mission from the man battlefield the doctor was shocked and rushed to me saying come boy take off your shirt and sit let's but he seen my face that showed no pain on it he smiled saying o we got a rare one here come lad show me the wound I nodded and gave my rifle to Layla and I unbuttoned my coat which I put on a chair after that I took the dark undershirt that I had on I pulled that off it had blood dripping off it and I showed the doc the metal spike in the side of my stomach the doc looked it over saying what do we got here but I responded to that saying it's a piece of a cannonball from a M1857 12-pounder Napoleon cannon it's didn't hit any vitals luckily the Doc looked up to me shocked saying your right but how did you know nothing not hit are you a doctor I shrugged which hurt but said no sorry kid but when I pulled out the metal the wound got bigger I won't me able to stitch that I side saying of course get me some alcohol I took over holding my side the doc was shocked but nodded and ran to his desk and took out a vile he brought it to me I took it and poured some of it on my wound right when the liquid touched my wound it started to burn like crazy but I didn't scream or anything I just clenched my teeth not hard enough to break them I did the same to the hole on the other side when I was done gave the alcohol back to the doc I razed my two fingers and appearing over those two fingers was a small blue fire ball and with my other hand I took off my belt and bit down on it as I moved that ball to my front wound it started to smell like burning skin I clinched my mouth on my belt but I didn't scream or whimper I didn't make any nose at all after the front wound was shut I did the back I was sweating bad but I pushed that little fires into my skin again closed both wounds when I was done I took the belt out if my mouth and looked up to the doc and the rest of them the doc and Slade was shocked as for Layla she had a pained look in her eyes I stood up slowly saying thank you doc pup get some rest as for me and Layla we are heading back to are tent the doc nodded saying goodbye I picked up my coat and shirt as Layla and I walk out and want to are tent.
