Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 the end of war

With this time passed quickly Layla and I became something of a legend Layla for her crazy bloodthirsty act against her enemy's but to these who was her allies she was none for being courageous and happy to jump into a battle to protect her friends but sadly many thought Layla was a man but age didn't stop to correct them as for me I was known for my cold and dangerous presents in any battle they said where ever I want the cold hand of death followed and they wasn't wrong but to my friends, I was known for my kind heard I was happy to help train those who wanted to learn also my name as a gunsmith was well-known, especially when I modified and fixed any weapon that came to me if I had the parts I could fix it but this was only to the normal people to the half blood and hell even some monsters Hunter Nekros and Layla Nekros and there party of 5 want out on many questions to kill a many monsters and to save many people from monsters but where there is victory there is also defeat Slades father died in a night rade soon after we met him sense then Slade has taken his fathers place of the head man of his family he was even offered his fathers place in the military but he turned it down saying he would rather fight under my and Wild Bills command then lead it has been two years sense Layla and I got stuck in this time sense then I had found and started this journal so that in my old age I don't forget hahaha I crack my self up the date is May 13, 1865 Palmito Ranch, Texas, Layla and I know what's about to happen but no one else does but it's weird they may not know what will happen but they can feel it they can feel the war coming to a end and I think many of them are happy and sad at the same time many of these mean have lost friends and family who fought on both sides of the war even though I have only been here for 2 years I am no exception to the lost of friends Zoltan lost his son, Zigrin lost his brother and almost followed him if it wasn't for Layla and I he would have been killed but sadly we could not help heal the huge scare that almost took his left eye his little brother was part of my group a great kid all he wanted was to go fishing with his older brother back in there home town it alsmot broke Zigrin I think if it wasn't for his parents back at his home town and his wife he would have taken his life just to join his brother I side and stopped writing when the tent door flapped open and Layla who looked as beautiful as ever well to me she did but to most she looked like a buff crazy red head man she had gotten a little taller and her body was as ripped as ever she had on a blue button-down shirt with her black cowboy hate on her head there was an eagle feather on the brim of her hat she had on black pants and brown muddy boots her pistol was on her right hip and her sword on her left in her hand was her double barrel shotgun she had a pare of gloves tucked under her belt she glared at me saying are you going to sit in here all day writing in that book or will you come out and walk with me I chuckled closing my book and brought a hand to my chin I looked up and made a thinking face saying mmmm let's see go out with my wife who everyone think is a man or sit and laze around writing mmmm but I heard Layla move and I looked down to see two barrels pointing at my head Layla was grinning her eyes was glowing red and she said maybe this will help you choose either you come for a walk with me or I shove this up you ass I rolled my eyes and disappeared and reappeared behind her I put one hand on her hip and the other lowering the gun as I did that I whispered in her ear saying you are just angry that you didn't get to ride my barrel last night and I nibbled her neck but she bumped me back with her but and she twirled around hitting me in the chest with her elbow I spat out spit as all the air in my lungs left me but thin that Hunter faded back down into her shadow the real Hunter stood up from where he was sitting before and I hugged Layla from behind saying you don't have to be so violent my dear if I get to choose between spending time with my lovely wife and anything else I will choose you any day of the week Layla turned around in my arms she smiled looking a little up at me saying good and she kissed me it was long nore did it need to be we just stopped kissing when someone through the tent open and Slade came running in he stopped when he seen us hugging each other he stood at attention not even fazed by this sirs they are attacking what we both said I grabbed my reporting rifle and my hat my belt was already on my waste with my pistols on it and my curved daggers behind them lets move I said putting the hat on my head and racking a round into the chamber of my rifle Slade nodded he lead the way out of the camp where we joined up with a army of about 500 I looked downfield to see the confederate army they had only 300 we ran up next to Zoltan and Zigrin who turned to us Zoltan and I shook hands and Zigrin and I nodded at each other good to see you Hunter the battle but then boom a shot rang out and it wasn't in front of us I turned around to see a small battle at where we kept the horses I seen people from are ranks running over and trying to stop and fight back Zoltan and Zigrin as about to rush forward but I stopped them they looked back to me shocked Zigrin asked sir are we not engaging I side shaking my head no Zigrin look at these people they are tired of war as are we are enemy are back into a corner this is there last-ditch effort to do any damage to us after that they will surrender best not get in there way Zoltan nodded pulling out a cigarette and liting it your right Hunter let them win this small battle cuz we have won the war best not attack a cornered man cuz a cornered man is the most dangerous Slade nodded the enemy rod passed us many of us didn't even shoot at them the only people who got killed was the 30 or so man who tried to stop the mat first but the enemy didn't lost a man I took a knee saying that be it boys the war is over Zoltan sat down next to me and pat my shoulder saying indeed sir it has been a pleasure fighting alongside you I lat his arm saying no no you got it all wrong Zoltan it was my pleasure to leed such fine men like your self's Zigrin pat my other shoulder saying you are being to modest, sir if it wasn't for you and wild Bill none of us would be here today we are the survivors all of us and he hugged Slade who simple nodded I stood up and Huged Layla saying we all have lost something in this war my friend and your right Zigrin we are the survivors so I stepped in front of them and I turned around to them I was smiling a little this is my last order to you all live on live a gold life it will be hard but we will all make it live on for those who have died live on and go home all of you and bed your wife's and settle back down if the fates deem's it we will meet again they all looked confused and Zigrin asked what are you talking about boss y does it sound like your leaving I smiled shrugging but Layla was the one who answered him it is cuz we are Zigrin both Zigrin and Zoltan looked dumbfounded but Slade didn't look surprised at all and he simple asked where will you all go I smiled and thought about it for a bit them I remembered some forest in Montana we will be heading northwest you can find us in Montana they all was shocked at that and Zigrin asked Hunter you do know that's engine territory I shrugged saying and Zoltan glanced over to Layla saying you might be save but she probably wont be I rolled my eyes and Layla smiled at his concern from there we will probably go back south but there is someone up there I would like to talk to and they will deal with the natives there we will be packing up and reporting to Bill I held out my hand to Zoltan he took it we shook hands he simple said keep your eyes sharp and your pistol close I nodded simple and I moved to Zigrin he took my hand I spoke then remember Zigrin I expect you to survive and provide for your family but what I want most from you is to live a happy life if we go through Colorado we will stop by alright he simple nodded saying yes sir I got to Slade and I held out my hand he took it I pat him on the shoulder with my other hand saying you got some big shoes to fill seeing that your the man of the house now I give you this small piece of advice start rounding up cattle and horses and start building a company you will survive then and remember not everything can't be solved with a bullet he nodded at me words only most of your problems can I finished smiling he laughed saying I understand sir if your ever in Colorado swing by I think Zigrin and maybe your to Zoltan if you want I have a job offer for you to and he turned to them seeing Layla was done saying goodbye they walked away Slade telling them about a job offer I looked over to Layla asking well shall we my lovely wife she nodded saying yes lets we want back to are tent and packed all of are stuff up it didn't take long we put our bags on a spare horse we got Fives stood up asking so are we leaving master and she looked to Layla indeed Fives we will be leaving soon we got to talk to one last person though and we walked to Bills tent we didn't even nock we just walked in Bill was sitting at a table looking over report papers we walked to the table and took a seat across from him when he sat down he looked up to us saying so your leaving I expected this that's y I prepared this for you and he reached next to him into a box and pulled out two bags he through them in front of us it jingled and one bag opened and gold feel out of it I picked up that bag looking over the gold my valuable detection was going crazy do you these bags I simple picked up the pieces off the table put them back in the bag tide it and put it in my pocket saying thank you, my friend, what're your plans he smiled leaning back in his chair saying well I will be heading back to camp I have a feeling that camp will need a protector who better then wild Bill hickock besides I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of bad people who will need a bullet or the rope I will happily find them people I laughed saying well we plan on doing the same I stood up and held out my hand saying good hunting to you Gunslinger and bounty hunter he laughed standing up he took my hand saying good hunting to you to my friend we shook hands he looked over to Layla after we received each other saying don't let this fool get you in to much trouble little sister Layla smiled standing up and walked around the table and gave him a hug saying I won't brother keep your nose clean I would hate having to kick your ass to bring you in Bill laughed indeed the same to you two know go before the hyer ups try and top you we nodded we walked out of the tent and got on Fives this time I was in front I speared them on and we ran through the camp with the other horse tide up behind us so he had to follow as we ran through to the camp some people hollered some whistled some clapped but they all got out of are way I smiled at them all we ran out of the camp and started north .
