Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: the brawl

I sat my coat down on the other bed as I sat down on mine Layla leaned my rifle and her shock gun in the other bed to as she sat down next to me we took our shoes off and load back on the bed my body was shaking at that point do to my body feeling cold the only warm thing I could feel was Layla I cuddle closer to her saying your so warm Layla looked up to me smiling and you are sweaty but I guess I will be your warmth for a bit I checked and shakily kissed her head but wiped off blood from my mouth saying dear y is your bandana still got blood on it she shrugged saying forgot to move the blood of it I guess and she raced her and and a blood ball farmed over her hand some blood floated from her bandana wall some came from my shirt when she separated my blood as the other disappeared into the ground as for my blood it floated over her hand and very slowly my blood sank into her hand I thought I heard her breathing hard and her face go a little red but my vision was getting blurry so I didn't shore what I seen I was back in darkness floating on a river but this time the air around me felt cold I didn't mind though I smiled happily but then I felt the water shiver slightly and the room get hot I opened my eyes and standing next to me was a weird-looking creature he had the body of a human its skin was black but it's head was a jackal on around his head was this gold thing and hanging on around his neck was a gold Pendants Cross of Life Ankh With Scarab around his waste a gold and white skirt on his arms which looked rock solid was gold and silver armbands and moving behind him was a black tail but at the end of his tail was gold he held a black obsidian scepter in his hand with gold wrapped around it Anubis I asked razing an eyebrow Anubis was a little shocked but nodded saying indeed, child I am a bit surprised you received me on site but you are there child so I shouldn't be to surprised I smiled pulling my self out of the water saying o so you know who my parents are how intriguing so what do I owe the pleasure of getting a meeting with Anubis and Anput and I bowed I heard female laughter from my shadow and appearing from my shadow was another person she was dark skin to she had on a black and purple flowy skirt moving around her stomach going up her chest was strings of gold her shirt was cut really short it was always black and purple there were small gems hanging off it and it went into a pulled-back black, gold, and purple vail her face was that of a cat her ears had many colorful piercings and in her hand were a gold staff with the Egyptian cross at the top of it her eyes were glowing purple she was laughing saying o so you noticed me how interesting you're an interesting child k smiled saying thank you, my lady, for the compliment and my I say purple is your color she smiled at my words and walked next to her husband Anubis nodded saying I agree kid it really is her color as he looked at Anput she smiled at him saying thank you both but ant we hear for something Anubis nodded saying your right dear and he looked back to me saying child the reason y we are here is to ask a favor I side saying it's about Slade isn't it Anubis nodded yes indeed you have already seen the necklace he wares so I won't beat around the bush but Anput cut him off saying it's one of our sacred artifacts we gave that to our daughter to help her channel her powers but when that boy Slade want off to war she gave it to him as both a good luck charm and she thought it would help him control his fire and she was half right sadly that pendant has two sides to it yes it can help him control his power but it is also a portal to our realm I wasn't surprised to hear that so it has a curse on it not that surprising now that I know it's a gift from you two I assume you put that curse on there so if anyone would steal it they would die from either going crazy or just the sheer amount of souls in one body not going anywhere Anput looked a little shamed hearing my words but Anubis didn't look fazed and he simple nodded saying it is as you say child Anput made most of that necklace but I was the one who cursed it without anyone knowing it was a precautionary measure just in case Anput glared at her husband when he said those words I looked Anubis saying I agree you never should have a gift from the gods especially from a death God and not have precautions in place cuz you never know what will happen Anubis looked at his wife like he won but you should have told your daughter about the necklace both sides or you should have bonded the item to her like my parents did with my gifts Anput glared at her husband and gave him the I told you look Anubis looked to the side I contend tell but I think he was embarrassed I looked over these two thinking to myself this whole thing is fishy there's no way they didn't tell Evelyn what the necklace was even if they didn't Evelyn would have noticed the curse when she put the necklace on I side saying there's something your not telling me isn't there when I said that both Anput and Anubis stopped glaring at each other and looked at me Anubis asked what makes you say that child I shrugged saying a gut feeling there are too many holes in your story even if Evelyn didn't know what the necklace did after she had it on for a while she would have noticed what it did and the fact you didn't bond the item to her makes it even more unlikely I may not remember much from school but the stories of you two you always seemed careful you had a plan here what that plan was I am not shore what it is or y but you wanted Evelyn to give Slade that necklace cuz you knew she was in love with him Anubis and Anput looked at each other and in old Egyptian, they spoke with each other but I understand all of it Anubis said this child is too sharp and cunning he is too much like his mother I told you we should have went to that Ares child she would have easily believed are story Anput shook her head responding it has to be him that Ares child doesn't have the power to do what need this boy maybe sharp but that ant a bad thing if he is anything like his parents he won't mind getting his hands dirty and killing people at this point I was getting tired of this back-and-forth fight between them so in Egyptian I said it depends on who I am killing but I don't like being lied to be it from a human, half blood or a god honesty builds trust so what do you need both Anubis and Anput was shock hearing me speak fluently in Egyptian Anubis glared at his wife saying see to cunning but Anput didn't listen to him she looked at me saying ok child I will tell you the real story there is no curse that necklaces does help people control their powers but it stores souls in particular it stores the souls of whoever is wears it and kills someone whoever they kill that person's soul will be locked in that necklace we made this necklace for Evelyn to give to the boy Slade when we saw he was joining the war we hoped he would get many souls to help increase Evelyn powers but that stupid boy hasn't killed anyone and it's been 2 years already I side again saying so you wanted me to wear or keep the necklace on me instead of him since you know I am stronger than him Anput nodded Anubis side and looked to and asked so will you do as we ask I looked at them asking I only got one thing to ask did Evelyn give Slade that necklace cuz you told her to or was it her choice Anubis and Anput was shocked by my question Anput answered my question she gave it to Slade at her own choice we told her what the necklace does but nothing more in the hope she did but ultimately it was her own choice y do you ask such an odd question I shrugged saying cuz I wanted to see if she really had feelings for him or not if she didn't that just meant she was using him nothing more but since she chose herself that means she really wanted Slade to be safe and to have the necklace help him control his powers Anubis shrugged saying y should that affect your answer I smiled saying it's hard to explain Anput nodded saying I think I understand child but what it's your answer will you us this favor I side shaking my head grinning saying no I will not but this doesn't mean I won't do anything Anubis razed a eyebrow saying what does that mean child it's either you do take the necklace or you don't how can you help my grin got bigger saying I already thought about training that pup he gots plenty of skill and potential and if I train him he will be more skilled that also means he will come with us on more motions this also means he will kill more people more people mean more souls Anubis was shocked that I would even think about something like that but Anput smiled like she had just won the lottery and throw her happy smiled she said that's perfect thank you, Hunter, we won't forget this and thank you for being just like your mothers but I think it's time you wake up you got work to do and she razed her staff hold on you said mothers what do you mean I asked I only got one Anput simple smiled saying goodbye and good luck child of Hades and Hela and with that she lowered her staff when it hit the ground it made a dinging noise and the water all around her rippled and I woke up sitting up looking around my tent Layla wasn't next to me in front of the tent I saw a fire going I could tell it was about dark I stud up stretching my body but when I did my right side started to burn I pulled on my belt and hat as I walked outside Layla was sitting by the fire she was staring deeply into the fire she didn't even move when I sat down next to her I waved my hand in front of her nothing happened I snapped my fingers next to her ears this got a reaction out of her she snapped her head over to me as she did she was pulling out a knife saying bastard I will kill you if you don't but when she seen it was only me she lowered her knife saying o Hunter it's only you I razed an eyebrow asking Layla what's on your mind Layla looked back into the fire hesitating to answer me but I moved in front of cratching down looking into her eyes saying Layla what is it Layla tried not to look into my eyes but it didn't work after a few seconds she looked up into my eyes and that is when her defenses broke it was a few of those man from before wall you was sleeping I want to get firewood and 5 of them followed me and tried to force themselves on me I tried to fight them off but 1 of them was a son of Zeus so he shocked me till my body could not move when this happened they started to they started to but she stuttered her tears falling they tried to rip off my clothes but that was when Daisy lunged out from a bush chomping down on the man hand who was reaching to me at the same time the other head bit his lower part ripping both off that man screamed falling down rolling on the ground as for the other 4 they ran away seeing Daisy but one of them screamed at me saying your lucky slut we will be back for you when I heard this my blood ran cold standing up I looked over to Daisy who was laying next to the fire look after her I said in a ice cold voice Daisy looked up to me wolf wolf I nodding as for you my dear I leaned down to her she was still crying I leaned down and kissed her teary face saying don't worry about anything I will handle this my love and I started to walk off Layla was shocked when I said this as I was walking I seen those Slade sitting around a camp fire talking two that older man and that red-haired man Slade looked over to me smiling but when he seen my cold look he stood up saying Hunter what's wrong I looked over to him and have him a devilish smile saying you know just going out for a good night stroll hoping to see some rappers so I can kill them so excuse me pup gentleman I topped my hat but that older man stood up saying wait sir Neckros I took a few steps but stopped hearing this I turned and looked at this man what smile still on my face saying yes this man smiled and walked next to me saying I would happily take a stroll with you wherever we going my name is Zigrin that redhead man stood up putting on his hat smiling and walked next to me saying I think I will join you two this stroll sounds like fun o my name is Zoltan I laughed saying I will happily accept the company what about you pup will you join us I asked looking back to Slade who was still sitting around the fire Zoltan also looked back to him saying yes are you in out out pup Slade hesitated Zigrin looked back saying what are you scared little puppy when Slade heard this he glared at Zigrin standing up saying shore y not this will be fun anyway and he walked next to Zigrin I smiled looking forward saying well let's see what this stroll has for us and I started to walk so did the others Zigrin started to whistle when johnny comes marching home and Zoltan started to sing it hurrah hurrah hurrah we will give him a hearty welcome then hurrah hurrah with that we walked through this camp as we walked did many man watched us walk by but didn't say anything we got to the end of the camp and let's just say they heard us coming a group looked at us smiling but when they sen me they started to snicker one of them even yelled out hi bitch Nekros your girl skin was soft next time I will taste her but before he could finish I disappeared from his view he started to look around him and his friends still snickering and laughing but a cold laugh came from this man who talked I was standing there that devilish smile on my face when that man turned to me I kicked him in the chest all the air left his lungs he hunched over holding his stomach I thin grabbed his head and slammed it against my knee three times every time his head hit my knee a crunching noise rang throw the air so did blood and teeth I looked over to his friend who wasn't snickering or laughing quite the opposite they was glaring at me that devilish smile got even bigger seeing their glares and in a cold mocking voice said come on where are those smiles I seen before what could have change come on show me those smiles that were the last straw when all hell broke loose and 5 men charged at me but Zoltan bull rushed forward and tackled three of them to the ground as for the other 2 Slade charged at a group of 3 as for Zigrin he bull rushed a group of 5 as for me I had two man charging at me but I simple waited for them I stood there strate backed hands in my pockets that smile still on my face the first man throw a left jab at me saying we will make sure to bloody that face of yours but I simply moved my head to the side and cot his arm and with my other hand I decked him in the chest thin I used his hand to flip him over my shoulders when he hit the ground I kicked him in the chest three times I was going to do another when someone tackled me from behind I flipped around to see a fist flying down at me I moved my head this man fist hit the ground I grabbed his arm and wrapped my legs around his neck putting him in a choke hold the man tried to pull my legs him but my legs was like steal squeezed him titer and titer till his face got red and he stopped moving I got up putting back on my hat charging in to help Zoltan this old man was kicking ass he had a man on the ground and was kicking him but a man behind him grabbed a stick and was about to swing it when I tackled him taking this man off his feet I through him to the ground thin I hit my elbow twice and jumped off a log next to me I slammed my elbow into this man chest this man spat out spit and a bit of blood I rolled to my feet saying take the people's elbow bitch I looked over to Zoltan who was smiling happily as he had a belt on his hand and was spanking a man saying you should be a shamed of your self young man with each word he would being down the belt I laughed seeing that I charged in to help Zigrin who was struggling with the 5 I bull-rushed the first one in range I put my head between his legs and jerked my body up throw him behind me like a bull Zigrin laughed saying, good job mate as he said that he got punched in the face that took him to the ground Zigrin glared up to who punched him saying you, bastard I'd odda and he ruched at this man and kicked him straight in the junk owwww I said I could feel that so could all the men I used this chance to wrap my arms around the nearest men waste and I picked him up and leaned back suplex him after that I used my hands to push myself up when I jumped up there was no one standing but friends I picked up my hat dusted it off and spat saying boys if you ever try and do that again I promise you I will show you hell if I get my hands on you I will also tell Layla to stop holding herself back she could have easily killed you all but she didn't cuz your part of Bills unit and she is also part of the unit she is more of a man then any of you are all if you can go fuck yourself and have a bad day and I started to walk away when I heard a familiar voice say where do you think your going Nekros I turned around to see Bill walking towards pipe in mouth all of us stood at attention well all of us who could Slade, Zigrin, Zolten and I was the only men standing Bill walked in front of us saying men you better have a damn good reason y you kicked these men's asses Sir I said they tried to rape Layla and got away we tot them a lesson Bill blow out smoke from his mouth saying o really how could any of these men try what you're saying and like to tell the tail sir she could have easily killed them but she didn't want to bring down our units numbers Bill side and walked over to the man that kicked in the balls Bill looked down to this man there was no pity or anything in his eyes is this true soldier this man shakily looked up to Bill still holding his balls and in a hi pitched squeaky voice he said sir yes sir Bill glow out smoke from his mouth saying then is all of you that needs some discipline but first sleeping time and Bill punched this man in the face knocking him out cold Bill turned around to us saying well done dismissed sir yes sir we said and walked back to our tents Zoltlen and Zigrin said see you tomorrow and they walked into there tent Slade and I walked to our tents not talking after a few moments passed I stopped at my tent saying see you tomorrow Pup same time as today we got work to do if you want to survive this world and with that I walked into the tent not caring his reaction I tide the tent flaps shut as I turned around to see Layla already in bed cuddling with Daisy I could tell she had cried for a while I took off my hat and belt and claimed into bed behind her budding her from the back she mowned happily as she subconsciously got closer to me I smiled closing my eyes my side still hitting but I simple ignored it .
