Chapter 2 - Memories

It was as if time had frozen as snow was falling and glistening in the icy winter air. My breath slowly floated into the atmosphere. My face had a warm pink tone as I looked down at my feet. A small finger lifted my chin up as I looked into the warm almond-colored eyes.

The small hands of the boy grabbed my own and held it with a warm touch. It was hard not to want to look away from my pride, but I couldn't even if I wanted to. His hands felt warm, in comparison to my cold hands. My other hand slowly made its way to his face. I wanted to remember this moment forever and I knew I would, I'd make sure of it.

The boy slowly moved closer to me as my hand guided him to me. His lips were close to my ear. I could feel his warm breath on them.

"Aron, my love", I said, with a soft tone.

"Harriet," he says, "I love you."

His voice sent my heart into a faster pace.

Sounds from all around us went off. People within the crowd began to scatter but I couldn't leave. I knew what would happen if I did.

I'd lose him. I can't lose him. Not again. Please.

"Aron Please" I said as tears started to fall down my face.

"You know I don't have a choice", Aron said with a sad look as he pulled my body in closer.

"Just one night" I asked in a pleading voice.

"Harrie" Aron said

"Please, my love."

"Okay" he says as he takes my hand and holds it tightly as we walk in a similar direction to where others were headed.

Aron pulled me closer to him as we came upon an apartment in the city that had steps in the front. He opened the door as we both stepped into the house.

Aron's house. His home. We went into a room that held one bed.
