Chapter 6 - Chapter 5: The Alpha's mate is a guy!

(J.J. POV)

"Marco, I have something to say." I said.

Marco and I are currently in an empty basketball gymnasium. I wanted to talk to him privately because this is a serious issue and he is always the first person I confide in.

"What is it?"

"I found my mate." I said.

"What? J.J., that's great. Who's the lucky girl?"

"It's not Anya. My wolf longed for somebody else."

"Oh…" He said, dumbfounded.

"My mate's a guy." I said.

He looks shocked at first but his expression toned down after a while.

"I have told you about the boy in the playground, right?"

"Yeah, the one you saved from the bullies."

"It's him. He's in Waldorf right now and he's my mate. Can I just say how goddamn beautiful he is? The most beautiful one I have ever seen."

"Even more beautiful than Anya?"

"Without a doubt!" I said.

"Well then, he's a lucky guy. What are you going to do about it?"

"First of all, can you not tell anyone please?"

"Of course, I wouldn't. Whenever you're ready, bro!"

"Second, I have to break up with Anya before I start pursuing my mate."

"The question is, will Anya let you go easily? She's obsessed with you, J.J."

"She's going to have to. The moon goddess has someone else for her and it's not me. Right now, my main focus is finding my mate and getting to know him because I literally can't wait anymore. My wolf is going insane."

"Well then, I wish you the best of luck, brother."

----

Anya and I are currently in my room right now watching television. She scooted next to me a little bit closer. Next thing I know, she was already grabbing my crotch.

"Anya, stop."

"What? You like it when I make the first move." She teased.

"I'm not in the mood."

"Come on now!" She said before straddling me and pulling my shirt off.

"Anya, don't." I warned but she started kissing me anyway. The moment she did that, I felt like I was going to throw up. I just couldn't do it. I pushed her off the bed making her whine like a spoiled child.

"J.J., what the hell?"

"I said I'm not in the mood. Why are you so annoying?" I shouted.

"Why are you acting like this?"

"Why are you?!"

"What's wrong with you? Ever since yesterday, you started acting a little weird. Did I do something? Did something happen? You know you can talk to me, right?"

How can I tell her? How can I say 'Anya, you're not my mate'? How can I say 'I don't want you anymore'? How can I say 'you disgust me'?

"Listen, why don't you just leave? I'm a bit tired from the practice." I said.

"Whatever." She said before gathering her things and storming out of my room.

God, why am I in this predicament?

----

My parents and I are having dinner quietly until dad decided to break the silence.

"I heard the argument with Anya, is something wrong?" Dad asked.

"No, she was just being annoying." I said.

"You have never acted like that before."

"What do you know about me?" I rebutted.

"Hey! Watch your tone with your dad, young man." Mom said.

"I'm dealing with something right now." I said.

"J.J., maybe we can help."

"It's fine, mom! You don't have to. I can handle it myself."

"Obviously, if you're that grouchy, it means it's taking a toll on you. Are you hiding something from us?" She insisted.

"Just let it go, mom."

"You've been out partying most of the time, you've been ditching the pack meetings, you won't tell us what your problem is, is that really how you want to run your life, Johan?" Dad asked.

"You really want to know?" I asked.

"Yes, I do want to fucking know!!!" My dad yelled.

"My mate's a guy!! There, happy?!" I said before standing up and walking out the dining room, leaving them speechless.

----

I then heard a knock on the door.

"Go away!"

"J.J., it's Rosa."

"Oh…come in then."

"Hi! Since you didn't finish your meal, I decided to cook your favorite comfort food, Thai curry soup."

"Thanks Rosa. Just put it on the table there." I said.

When I thought she was about to leave, she didn't. She said something that surprised me.

"Your parents aren't disappointed, you know."

I looked at her before smiling softly and nodding my head.

"Your father wanted to talk to you about it but he decided to give you some space for a while."

"As he should."

Rosa laughed before exiting my room. "Go eat before it gets cold."

I started to feel a little bit relieved after knowing that. Now, the only problem I have is breaking up with Anya and coming out to my pack, and I don't know if that will go well at all.

With that, I grabbed the bowl of Thai curry soup and ate it.
