As two days passed, Jinghua had reached the Yue borders, keeping Bingwen alive with his Chi. He met up with Hung Meifeng and Yuming at the Yue temple where they met the Yue clan leaders. Bingwen was given a room and Hung Meifeng and Jinghua worked together to heal Bingwen. After a few days, he was conscious again. Yuming sat by his bed, playing with his hair, waiting for him to wake up. Hung Meifeng stood in the doorway and Jinghua sat across from Yuming, cleaning the blood off of his sword. "I hope he'll wake up soon." Yuming said.
"He will, just give him some time." Hung Meifeng said, getting up to leave. "I'll go fetch him a meal for when he does wake up." Jinghua got up and walked over to join Yuming at the foot of Bingwen's bed. "Ning Cheng, you need to tell me everything. No more hiding things away. I am your…future wife after all…" Yuming said, Jinghua sighed and crossed his arms. "We both know we don't want to though. You must have feelings for someone else." Jinghua said. Yuming was about to answer when Bingwen started to sit up. Jinghua was overjoyed but did not show it. Yuming on the other hand, wrapped her arms around her brother. "Yuming? Wait…what are you-"
"Enough with the questions! You need to stop scaring me!" Yuming exclaimed. Jinghua couldn't help but smile. And that was the first time Bingwen had seen him smile like that.
Back at Ning palace, Ning Lin sat furious on his throne. Anxiously, he awaited the news that his disciples killed Bingwen and had brought his son home. He knew that Jinghua could never build up enough anger to kill his friend. His childhood friend….
A disciple entered the throne room and kneeled down to Ning Lin.
"Grandmaster, your disciples have been killed. Yuxuan Shi and the other five have been found dead outside the Xue city borders!" The disciple said, Ning Lin slammed his fists on the arms of his chair, his voice echoed throughout the halls of the palace. "IMPOSSIBLE! HOW COULD YUXUAN SHI BE DEAD!" He yelled. Cold sweat dripped down the disciple's face. "There..were reports of Yusheng Jin being injured by Yuxuan Shi. We don't know where they went after. But we received more reports of the young master had taken Yusheng Jin elsewhere." The disciple finished. Ning Lin stood up from his throne. He started walking around the disciple, his hands behind his back. " How the hell did my best trained disciple die to my son?" Ning Lin asked the disciple. "Y-Yuxuan Shi was reported to be decapitated, G-Grandmaster.." The disciple quivered, Ning Lin grabbed the collar of the disciple's robes. "You go and gather more of my disciples and find that brat. You kill him, then bring my son home! Or you and many other people will get hurt!"
Yue city, much similar to Xue, was a place where it was always night, where it was always dark. The only light was the moon and stars and the small candle-lit and lantern streets of the city. There was no palace but only a temple that represented the royal family.
Jinghua had only planned to stay there for a little. He had a feeling that the Ning clan would eventually be on their tail again.
