Bloom's mind twirled she couldn't focus on one thing.
She was lightheaded and dizzy at the same time as she tried to contain herself.
They weren't humans. From what she has seen and heard. The physical evidence like the glowing eyes and elongated canines enough proof
Bloom realised that she was in a room filled with inhumans.
She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. She didn't know how to escape or where to escape. She tried to think straight but all her thoughts were all jumbled up.
She tried to think of the impossibility of the whole situation.
Vampires aren't real, those things weren't real she tried to tell herself over and over again. It was impossible she tried to convince herself.
"My Lord " The red haired man called turning his attention to the part of the room that was cast in shadows.
Bloom turned her attention to the dark part of the room, she couldn't see anything but her eyes suddenly caught the glowing red eyes in the dark. She shook as fear coursed through her.
Descending the small steps from the shadows was a tall figure.
Bloom thought she had seen all the attractive people in the room but all the people she had met in the building paled in comparison to him. His Aura and his presence was dark and intimadating.
Bloom assessed the man in front of her. He was 6'5, his black hair was perfectly styled to perfection. He was dressed in a dark suit. He was strikingly attractive. Very attractive.
Mr Shaw hands were tucked in his pants pocket as he assessed the girl in front of him
"Lord Shaw." Tony that stood behind Bloom greeted as he politely bowed his head
"You're Mr Shaw." It was meant to be a question but it came out as a statement.
Bloom has never seen Mr Shaw before. No one really has except his executives. The faces of the company were his chosen representatives. Bloom had always thought it was because he was a really private man.
"I shouldn't have come here." Bloom turned around to leave but was blocked by Tony.
"She can't be compelled." The red haired said to Me Shaw
"Maybe she isn't human." The guy who threatened Bloom said.
"She sure looks like one, smelks like one and her heart beats like one." The attractive woman added
"I'm sorry for coming here. I really am. " Bloom apologize trying to find a way to escape this.
"I've never met a human who can't be compelled before." . Mr Shaw talked for the first time since Bloom entered his office.His voice carried power and the air around him held authority. He had a dark and powerful aura.
Bloom didn't know what was scarier, his glowing eyes or his powerful aura.
"We can't just let her go." The long haired man said. Bloom's eyes widen in horror at his words.
"I'm really sorry. I won't say anything about this I promise. " Bloom promised.
She really won't tell anyone that her boss was a vampire. No one would believe her either way.
"I-i-i'll even r-resign." Bloom felt the urge to cry as the words escaped her mouth. She loved her job. So much.
"Please just let me go " Bloom pleaded as tears gathered in her eyes.
"I can't have you going around telling everyone about tonight." Mr Shaw said.
"I won't tell anyone. I promise Trust me."
"How can I ?"
Bloom let out a frustrated groan. She ran her hand through her hair but realised she had it packed up in a pony tail. She tugged at her head band in frustration as she watched Mr Shaw walk away and took a seat at the one sitter sofa that was at the sitting area.
"Ughhh." Bloom let out a frustrated groan under her breath but the room was filled with supernaturals who could hear her well.
"Who would believe me if I tell them that the people at the top floor at glowing eyes and elongated fangs?. They would all think I'm crazy and believe me even if I told the world that you are a vampire that would be the least problematic rumor that is out there about you." Bloom let out in one breath.
The room became silent as everyone just stared at the girl. She was either fearless or stupid, or both.
Bloom eyes widen when she realized she just snapped in front of a man who can very much kill her without breaking a sweat.
Bloom took a deep breath and tried to gather herself.
"What I'm trying to say is that I won't tell anyone." Bloom gently said like she was explaining to a baby.
No one said anything as everyone just looked at her like she was an alien.
"I am a three hundred year old vampire and he-" the man who threatened Bloom gestured to the long haired man.
"-he's a werewolf."
Bloom took a deep breath an tried to control her heart that was beating heart.
Bloom could see the look in his eyes he was testing her to see how she would react.
"Oh...well I'm a twenty three year old human." Bloom responded in the most natural way possible.
Everyone was awes by her reaction.
"I've never seen any human that has ever acted like this after knowing our identity. Excited, maybe but not this." The long haired man said surprised.
Bloom didn't know if to take that as a compliment or not but what she knew she was trying to do was to get out of the company building alive.
"How are you calm?"the attractive woman asks.
"I'm not. I just want to leave and live." Bloom answered truthfully.
"You came here to get a file?" It came out like a question but it was more of a statement. Bloom attention turned to her boss. She raise her hand showing the flash drive.
"The file is in this."
"Mmmm."
Bloom didn't know what he meant my Mom but she hoped it meant that he wouldn't kill or suck her blood dry.
"Will you kill me?" Bloom asks, she wanted to know if she'll never be able to get out of the mess she's in.
"No. Tony would return you to your home."
Bloom was shocked and excited at his words. She didn't know if he really meant it or not.
Bloom tried to read him to see if he was lying or not but his face was hard and expressionless.
"Really?" Bloom asks but before he can say anything she talked again.
"Never mind. I'll take what I can get." Bloom decided she wouldn't push and just take the window she has to leave.
"Thank you. Thank you so much. I'm greatful." Bloom rambled as she hurried out of the office.
