It's been two days since Bloom arrived in England. She has been staying in Lord's Azazel's ginormous estate. It had looked like those places you see in movie. There were way too many rooms and the property covered acres of land not to mention the remaining part of the estate that didn't have any properties built on them.
The land stretch far and although Bloom hasn't have a tour she was pretty sure there was so much more property on the estate. Most of the people she had met were mostly supernaturals. Bloom had half expected to see a troll or an elf. But she met Vampires, werewolves, hybrids and even witches and very few humans.
Bloom couldn't help but wonder how those humans coped being around very powerful people. Bloom couldn't sleep peacefully. She was always worried about getting her blood sucked by one of the supernaturals or getting her neck snapped.
Bloom was tired of watching was she was saying. Bloom was a nice person who mostly put others before herself but she was also one to speak her mind and sometimes it had landed her in trouble but Bloom knew that landing in trouble here means death.
Bloom was only a little comforted by the fact that they couldn't hurt her because of Lord Azazel. Bloom has never been comfortable with somebody else protecting her.
She had always protected herself and her grandmother. Her grandmother raised her to be an independent woman. Relying on her Boss's protection made her uncomfortable.
Bloom was was comfortable a little by the familar faces of Grey,Lucas and Bellamy...she thinks. It was better than being in the midst of strangers.
Bloom have learnt a lot of things in the days she's been there. Bloom could see how much authority her boss have. She had underestimated his influence. It looks like he was their king.
"Bloom." After the call of her name came a knock.
Bloom recognized Grey's voice. She looked away from her laptop towards the door of her assigned bedroom. It was more of a suite than a room.
"I'm coming." Bloom hopped down from her four poster King size bed and headed towards the door.
Grey's eyes scanned the appearance of Bloom. She was in a oversized t-shirt with the picture of minnie from mickey mouse boldly drawn on it.
She was wearing a pink pyjamas shot that had bows printed on it.
Her hair was packed in a messy ponytail and use had a baby blue hair band that had rabbit ears on both side that put few of the falling tandrils of hair at bay.
Her face was void of any makeup. Grey could not help but admire her natural beauty. Even when she's dressed up, her makeup was always natural and very little. Grey could not help but acknowledge and appreciate her obvious beauty in his mind.
"Good Evening, Can I help you with something?"
Bloom's voice pulled Grey out of his train of thoughts.
"I was going to escort you to dinner." Grey ended with a charming smile.
Bloom's brows shot up, confused about what he was saying.
"Dinner?"
"We are having a little dinner party. I guess you weren't told." Grey said the last sentence more to himself.
Bloom had no idea why her boss didn't tell her but she didn't care. It only means he didn't need her.
"I guess I'm not needed there."Bloom said to Grey.
"How much time will it take for you to get dressed?" Grey asks.
"Why?"
"Course you are going with me." Grey said with a charming smile that was enough to make any girl pants drop.
"Uh... I don't think so." Bloom refused.
"Come on Bloom. I'm going to wait here for you to get dressed." Grey said adamantly leaning against the door frame.
Bloom had a feeling that he wouldn't let it go and she wouldn't be able to get rid of him.
"Fine." Bloom let out a sigh in resignation.
"Great! Go get dressed." Grey said enthusiastically.
Bloom shot the door behind her and let out a sigh.
Now she would have to enjoy her dinner surrounded by people or rather supernaturals she wasn't comfortable with.
"Great " Bloom let out in sacarsm as she let out a heavy sigh.
