Ebari was finally summoned, and he had to remember to keep his expression in check. He already knew he was being watched through the security system and didn't need to make this visit worse for himself. The elf-like alien took a deep breath and entered the room. It was even darker than the antechamber, and only candles lit up the extravagantly large space drowned in wine-colored furniture and textiles.
In the center was a large circular bed covered in wine-colored bedding and plush pillows of the same color. On either side of the bed were modern tables made of dark metal. All of the furniture was situated on top of what seemed to be the black and purple fur of an unidentifiable, large animal. The wine-colored curtains were closed to prevent even a single ray of sun from disturbing the emperor.
