Synopsis
In this world, the concept of levels and profession exists. Other than those who live off defeating monsters, most people are only around Level 1 to 20. What's more, not just anyone can go out to hunt monsters; it's heavily influenced by one's profession. Everyone receives one at sixteen of age but at last, not everyone will be blessed with an extraordinary one. With the System and the Void Mall by his side, follow Heolstor Xel’Mourndor, a Void Marchant, on his trip to greatness, while spending his time in the Steelwall Academy with his friends, dueling his enemies and reaching his limits in dungeons. *** Please find the rest on amazone kindle ***

Chapter 1 - Chapter I: The Beginning.

"Heol" calls out a man. Always lost in your thoughts, I see? he says with a smile.

"Yeah" a young man replies with a smile in return.

Today, on the eve of my 16th birthday, I'm getting lost in my thoughts a little too much because tomorrow is the welcome day at Steelwall Academy. Every year, all 16-year-old children must present themselves there to take a profession test and continue their studies. The profession obtained mainly determines our future. Most receive a common profession and live an ordinarily difficult life. I hope it will be different for me. After the welcome ceremony, I will have to start my studies at the academy where I will study for the next three years. The first three years are considered general studies where everyone takes basic courses: Basic Knowledge, Basic Skills Control, Low-level Dungeon Exploration, Beginner Combat, and Monstrology. I was really looking forward to starting my future courses, but first, I had to take the test!

"Stop stressing out, son, there's nothing to it! You just have to discover your profession, and worst case scenario, you'll be a worker haha" exclaims my father, laughing loudly and warmly.

"Stevius, my mother yells" looking at my father with big eyes!

I can hear my father gulp from here! They're always like this, my father acting tough and my mother putting him in his place. Thinking back, my lips curved into a small smile.

"I'm joking, I'm joking, my father mutters, who, after my mother's disapproving look, became serious again. But seriously, son, what have you been thinking about since this morning? Do you have an idea of your profession, or are you just waiting for your result tomorrow" he asks to start the conversation again.

"I'm not too sure yet, I'm mainly waiting for my result, but I don't have any ideas about the profession I'd like. I do know, however, that it won't be Civil or Worker. Too weak" I say, shaking my head. "I would like to have a profession related to thunder or fire, it would be perfect for exploring dungeons, defeating monsters, but especially for restoring the ancient glory of our family" I replied with a wink. The restoration of our family was a frequent topic in our household. According to my father, we once had ancestors with exceptional powers, but unfortunately, that is no longer the case today.

"Well, don't worry, you should at least have a profession with fire or white magic since your mother and I have one! After all! I'm still one of the most famous Fire Mages" he says, puffing out his chest, hands on hips. Proud of himself.

"Famous, haha, famous for having the "self-burning" record" interrupts my mother, bursting out laughing!

"Ah, but if it weren't for that, I would have never met you at the infirmary! And we wouldn't have gotten here!" he responded to her.

Seeing them getting mushy, I snap my fingers to wake them up from their rose-colored moment! After all, I'm still here, and I'm not interested in seeing them cuddle in my presence.
