Isabel had just returned home from studying with William when her phone rang. It was her friend, Maria.
"Hey, Isabel. How are you doing?" Maria asked.
"I'm doing well. Just finished studying with William," Isabel replied.
"That's great. Listen, I wanted to remind you that the final exam for our biology class is tomorrow," Maria said.
"What? Tomorrow? I thought it was next week!" Isabel exclaimed, feeling a sudden panic rising in her chest.
"I know, I know. I should have told you earlier, but I just found out myself. Are you ready for it?" Maria asked, concerned.
"I don't know. I've been so focused on studying with William that I haven't had much time to study for this exam," Isabel said, feeling overwhelmed.
"Okay, don't worry. We'll study together tonight and get you up to speed. I'll come over to your place in an hour, okay?" Maria said reassuringly.
"Thank you so much, Maria. I really appreciate it," Isabel said, feeling grateful for her friend's support.
Isabel hung up the phone and quickly gathered her biology notes and textbook. She knew that she had to focus and study hard if she wanted to do well on the exam.
An hour later, Maria arrived at Isabel's house, and they got straight to work.
They went over all the key concepts, reviewed important diagrams, and tested each other on their knowledge.
As the night wore on, Isabel began to feel more confident and prepared for the exam. She was grateful for Maria's help and support and knew that she wouldn't have been able to do it without her.
"Thank you so much, Maria. I don't know what I would have done without you," Isabel said, feeling grateful.
"No problem, girl. That's what friends are for," Maria replied with a smile.
As they said their goodbyes, Isabel felt a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that she had done everything she could to prepare for the exam, and now it was up to her to do her best. She went to bed feeling tired but hopeful, knowing that she had a good chance of succeeding thanks to her hard work and her friend's support.
