Chereads / Villain Turning Point Mission / Chapter 25 - Trickster

Chapter 25 - Trickster

It was a planet with a bluish-green colour in its sky. The sky covered the expanse of land and fresh and salt water.

Planet Lobeut was the first planet to replace planet Earth, which died thousands of years ago. Besides Lobeut, there were several planets that were also almost similar to Earth, but Lobeut was the most similar one with a slightly larger size.

The Immortal Volt's ship penetrated Lobeut's atmosphere to create sparks on the ship's round and wide muzzle.

Planet Lobeut was rarely targeted by villains because it only provided food, whereas all planets had their own food-making system with advanced technology.

So far, only Rohan had the idea of using scientists and inventors for his mission. His arrival would be the first disaster on the planet.

Getting off his ship which was parked in the sky, Rohan brought some of his crew down. His arrival got everyone's attention because he deliberately chose the most populous city to do his action.

"So many humans here," Rohan muttered with a faint smile.

He glanced back at his crew. "Don't harm anyone if none of them tries to attack us. We'd better not scare our prey to cause them to run away."

As Rohan had previously instructed the crew who came down with him, they had to find the biggest scientific centre on the planet.

Like the old Earth which was now frozen, Lobeut had islands floating on the sea. They may need a few days to find a scientist who fitted Rohan's criteria.

Rohan and his crew split up. Meanwhile, the remaining crew on the ship he assigned to move Immortal volts to a place that was not inhabited by humans. The arrowhead-shaped ship ended up floating in the middle of the wide sea.

"No sign of a superhero here. This planet is unattractive for Helomus indeed." Rohan murmured in his steps.

This was the first time he had walked around in a crowd without anyone watching him with a frightened look. It seemed that he really didn't popular on this peaceful planet.

"Excuse me, sir. Can I help you?"

Rohan stopped his steps when a man in a brown uniform intercepted him.

"A help?" Rohan repeated. He looked at the man and found the words 'Police' on his neat uniform. He also saw two weapons on either side of his waist.

"It happens that I'm looking for something," Rohan said. He wasn't stupid to not notice the policeman's suspicious gaze. "The biggest scientific centre. I have an appointment with someone there."

"Sorry, but are you a helomus? Did you come from another planet?" The police asked.

"You are right. I'm a helomus and I come from the planet Vaxer."

The policeman's brow furrowed. "Have you registered?"

"Register?" Rohan repeated. He knew nothing about this planet. After all, register? He had been programmed not to know what the term 'register' was from birth.

"Anyone coming from another planet must register, especially if you already have an appointment with someone in Lobeut. Your name should have been registered since at least yesterday." The police explained.

"Well, I think I've heard of those terms. I have to ask my man because he takes care of all the.. register and else. Should we talk in a rather quiet place? I have to call my subordinate."

"Sure," The policeman said.

Then, the two of them stepped away from the busy streets and ended up in a deserted shopping street. Sitting on a public bench, Rohan pretended to try to contact one of his men, while the policeman sat next to him.

"He's sending me his data right now," Rohan said.

"Oh, I didn't know sending the data needed to wait." The police said.

Rohan shrugged his shoulders. "I'm not sure, but it looks like the magnetic waves on this planet are too different from mine."

"Anyway, can you show me where the scientific centre is? I have to leave immediately because they are waiting for me." Rohan said.

"That huge ball-shaped building," The policeman pointed to a bluish-white building like crystal. "It is the largest scientific centre on this island and the most advanced on this planet."

Rohan smiled and nodded. "Thank you for the information."

Suddenly, the police communication device rang before he could answer Rohan's words. Then, he swiftly answered the call.

"Yes? A foreign spaceship?" He repeated. Then, he glanced at Rohan who put on an innocent face.

"All right. I understand." The policeman tapped the small device that was always pinned in one of his ears.

"I'm sorry, but I forgot something. What's your name, sir?" The policeman asked directly after.

"Stuard Vicolin is my name," Rohan replied. Then, he frowned as he lowered his gaze slightly. "Oh, sir, I think there's something under your chin,"

"Huh?" The policeman rubbed his chin. "What's that?"

"I'm not sure. Do you want me to get rid of it?" Rohan asked.

"If you don't mind," The policeman replied.

Rohan chuckled. "This may seem a bit strange. But, you know..."

Lifting his chin, the policeman let Rohan's hand touch the bottom of his chin.

But suddenly, an iron tube with a pointed tip emerged from Rohan's palm and quickly shot up from under the policeman's chin, and pierced through the top of his head.

Blood came out of the policeman's nostrils. His eyes were still open.

"I've gotten rid of that thing; your brain," Rohan muttered as he opened his other palm to catch the iron bullet that fell from the sky.

Rohan looked around. The street was empty enough that no one noticed that the policeman sitting on the bench had just been murdered.

Blood kept dripping from the police's hollowed bottom chin and nostrils. The liar man whose real name was Rohan Egoxar leaned the police's back against the bench backrest.

Clicking his tongue, Rohan grumbled "Dammit. It's a lot of blood. The humans will soon surround us."

Immediately, Rohan searched the police clothes. Each planet had a different type of technology. Some planets had very advanced technology, some had almost none.

After searching the items for the dead policeman, Rohan found a board-shaped gadget the size of half the palm of his hand.

From the screen of the object, Rohan believed that it was only owned by the police. He might be able to use it to enter the scientific centre building.

Rohan took off the police's black helmet and put it on the man's face. Then, he immediately left him.

From the brief conversation the police had on the call, it seemed that Rohan's ship location had been detected and informed to all the police. An attack might be coming at him soon, so he had to move quickly.

On his way, Rohan caught a random civilian man to steal his clothes because the clothes Rohan was wearing now would only put him under suspicion.

Finally, Rohan arrived at the door of the ball-shaped building. As expected, he was intercepted at the door by the guards.

"I'm a policeman," Rohan said while showing the gadget he had stolen.

One of the guards pointed his scan tool at the gadget's screen. Then, he looked at the small screen attached to the back of his scan tool that looked like a gun.

"Mr. Eric Sky? Why are you wearing normal clothes?" He asked.

Rohan smiled faintly and friendly. "That's my name. Well, this is a special task. I'm just going to be in for a while to get some data for police purposes." Then he put his mouth close to the policeman's ear. "This is a somewhat… secret operation. There seems to be a bit of trouble in your office here."

"Oh..." The guard exchanged glances with his friend. Then, he cleared his throat. "Then please come in,"
