All this time, Rohan's fights that he had in the team could be counted with hand. He rarely partnered with anyone. He was a fighter who fought alone or a fighter who came as reinforcements when his family started having trouble facing the enemy.
Apart from the fact that his strength alone was enough to send him to win every battle, Rohan was not fit to fight in a team. He had a tough personality and did not like to be controlled. He was the type of man who led his own battles.
Rohan clearly realized that strength wasn't the only thing that gave him victorious in battle. When team-up was used to increase strength, it would be a boomerang that knocked you back if you did it wrong.
In team fights, good cooperation was needed for victory. However, bad teamwork would only destroy you before your enemies did.
Attacking and parrying were not something Rohan had always relied on. He was an observer. Before planning an attack, he studied his enemies to find their weaknesses first.
It didn't take long for Rohan to discover the weakness of the Aquarivan twins. Even though they were twins and looked to protect each other, he could see they didn't have good communication.
"He can generate heat from within his body. Isn't he an electric controller, not fire?" Elona asked.
"He is a helomus of a very high level. He might have upgraded his abilities to be able to do some of the things that a fire controller has." Hildan replied.
"We have to freeze his whole body and cover his head with ice so he can't breathe." he continued.
"Yes." Elona replied.
From the sky, Rohan watched the twins with his arms folded across his chest. Then, an ice shot came at him from Hildan. Nimbly, he dodged without attacking back. However, his eyes moved to Elona who was running in the opposite direction from Hildan.
Rohan chuckled. This was a classic technique in two-on-one combat. They deliberately split up to distract his focus.
"Not smart enough," Rohan muttered. "You guys are just looking down on me."
Then, he stretched out both hands in opposite directions. A surge of electricity gathered in his two hands, then started to shoot a large stream of electricity at Elona and Hildan simultaneously.
Rohan's shooting speed was great and he could deflect the shot. Hildan, who was trying to shoot, was unable to match the speed of Rohan's shot so he had to stop shooting to avoid it.
"He is so strong. We have to attack him from the front and behind." Elona said through their communication tool.
"No. He is difficult to reach because he flies. You have to drop the flying board." Hildan replied.
"But it is very difficult. His movement is very fast. Aren't your shots faster than mine?"
"Just do it. Do you want me to leave you to fight him alone?"
Elena fell silent.
"You hear me?" Hildan asked.
"Yes."
"Good. Quickly do as I command." Hildan said.
Then, Elona drew water from various directions and shot it at Rohan's feet. She tried to catch the board that the man stood on. She knew the board was powered by combustion. It wouldn't be able to burn if submerged in water.
Hildan continued to attack Rohan relentlessly. All the iron shields he created to ward off his ice shots froze, then fell and shattered the moment they hit the ground. That way, Rohan must continue to avoid the shots while continuing to attack. He knew that Elona was targeting his flying board.
However, during that attack, the water that Elona controlled was like a large rope floating in the air, eventually managing to touch Rohan's flying board.
As soon as the end of the water rope stuck on it, it seemed as if it had turned into a magnet that kept all the streams of water connected to Elona's hands. That way, wherever and however far the board moved, as long as Elona had enough water supplies, the water rope would not be cut off.
Rohan continued to move away only to learn how the water rope still attached to his board works. Taking a glance, he saw his feet to find that the water was starting to flood the surface of the board.
Then suddenly, the board engine shut down and gravity pulled Rohan down from a great height.
"Yes! I did it!" Elona exclaimed.
On the other hand, Hildan shot his cold air at the ground. Instantly, ice crystals appeared and formed large, pointed icicles that faced upwards. They spread ten meters wide to greet the fallen Rohan Egoxar. He couldn't wait to see the villain's body embedded in the icicles he had tightly made.
Keeping the board dead, Elona kept covering the board with water until she made sure that Rohan really fell and stuck in the icicle her brother made.
The wind blew Rohan's white hair. He knew the water had filled his flying board's combustion system so it wouldn't ignite no matter how hard he tried. When he looked down, he found an expanse of sharp and large icicles.
However, there was no look of panic on Rohan's face. He smiled faintly as he touched his arm cover. Just before his body hit the highest icicle, his board stopped falling and was now floating in mid-air.
Elona and Hildan lost their smiles. The face that was ready to celebrate, turned dumbfounded. At that very moment, Elona felt danger about to hit her in a moment.
"Don't let go of the rope! Hold him there!" Hildan exclaimed, knowing what his timid sister was thinking.
"But,"
"Don't argue!" Hildan exclaimed.
Then, he hardened his ice shot on the already frozen ground until all the icicles under Rohan rapidly grew upwards.
"Tsk!" Rohan rolled his eyes.
Rohan's flying board did use an electric combustion system to move. However, Rohan was not satisfied with that alone. He had been thinking about what would happen if one day he fell into the water.
Behind the flying board's combustion system was a backup system that used micro-battery power. When unable to use the combustion system, Rohan could replace the propulsion system using a magnetic boost. However, the system required a lot of power and the thrust was not as strong as that produced by the combustion system.
The replacement of the flying board system saved Rohan's body from the holes caused by the icicles. He also noticed that all the icicles were quickly rising to stab him.
"You think that popsicles can kill me?" Rohan muttered as he leaned forward to move his board away.
However, Rohan's brow furrowed when he barely felt his flying board move.
