Kaytrin walked with calm and authoritative steps, like a knight escorting someone very important. Meanwhile, Friks walked beside her, his eyes constantly marveling at the magnificence of the glass palace that was the Great Oracle's residence.
"Wow! This really is a great and wonderful residence! I wonder how much money it cost to build a glass palace like this?" asked Friks, who couldn't stop marveling at all the objects he saw as he walked down the hallway of the glass palace with Kaytrin.
"I don't think this glass palace was built by ordinary construction workers, Friks. Maybe it was built with the magic of the Great Oracle." Kaytrin explained.
Friks nodded, "If that's the case, then the magic power possessed by the Great Oracle is very great and powerful, isn't it?"
"That's right, but even though this glass palace is very beautiful and magnificent. Actually, this palace is not as grand and beautiful as the Aeros Royal Palace, where the king and the Aeros Guardian Knights reside," Kaytrin said in a half-whisper.
"What? Is that true? Then I have to see the Aeros Royal Palace," said Friks, who was interested and curious to see how big and beautiful the Aeros Royal Palace was.
"You will definitely see it later, because the Star Archer Knight must indeed receive the blessing of the King of Aeros to officially become the Protector of Aeros." Kaytrin explained again.
"Oh yes, you brought me to this glass palace to meet the Great Oracle. For what purpose?" asked Friks, who did not know the purpose of their coming to see the Great Oracle.
"I don't know either. Arthure and I have only got the task of explaining to you that you are the heir of The Star Archer Knight and bringing you to the Great Oracle once we have land in Aeros." said Kaytrin.
"Is Arthure okay?" Friks remembered and was curious about Arthure, who had told them to run when he was suddenly confronted with an enemy.
Kaytrin was stunned for a moment and turned to Friks, then smiled.
"You shouldn't worry, even though Arthure is only a mid-level knight, he has abilities that are on par with Aeros' high-level knights." Kaytrin tried to make Friks feel calm, even though she herself was very worried because this was the first time Arthure had told her to run away from a battle.
They then arrived at a very large and spacious room with a throne chair in the center. There was a woman sitting there dressed like a queen, with a dozen maids on her right and left. This room was also very beautiful and sparkling, a large carpet was spread out as a floor mat.
"Is she the Great Oracle?" asked Friks whispering to Kaytrin, from where they stood the face of the Great Oracle could not be seen clearly.
Kaytrin nodded, "That's right, she is the Great Oracle of Aeros."
Kaytrin and Friks then approached the Great Oracle. They walked on the large tapestry and as they got closer to the Great Oracle, Friks could see that the maids standing to the right and left of the Great Oracle had strange faces. After getting really close, Friks realized that all the maids were wearing masks.
Only the Great Oracle was not wearing a mask and when Friks looked at her face. Oh my! It turned out that the Great Oracle was really very beautiful and also looked very young, maybe the same age as him.
'Bughk!' Friks fell because her foot stepped on the outside of the rug, and because he was too engrossed in staring at the Great Oracle to watch his step.
"What a careless child!" Kaytrin turned to Friks, who was now sitting up, and clicked his tongue.
It was a faux pas that always happened when Friks lost his concentration.
The Great Oracle, seeing Friks fall, immediately got up from her throne and flew over to Friks.
"Are you all right?" the Great Oracle asked as she held out her hand to help Friks back up.
"The Great Oracle!" Kaytrin greeted respectfully, bowing slightly.
Friks accepted the Great Oracle's hand, which helped him standing again.
"Thank you," Friks said as he stood.
"It is I who thank you for coming here, Star Archer!" said the Great Oracle with a happy smile.
"My name is Friks, are you really the Great Oracle? You're so young, I thought the Great Oracle was very old," Friks said, looking at the beautiful face of the Great Oracle standing right in front of him.
"Huh!" Kaytrin cleared her throat, reminding Friks not to be rude.
The Great Oracle waved her hand at Kaytrin, signaling that what Friks was saying was not a form of rudeness, just curiosity.
"I may be called the Great Oracle, but my name is Ramala. If you see me as young, you are right. My body is young and the same age as yours, but my soul is very old and almost as old as Aeros," the Great Oracle's said, explaining a little about herself.
"So what shall I call you? Ramala or the Great Oracle?" asked Friks.
The Great Oracle's laughed, among all the people in Aeros, it seemed that only the Star Archer Knight dared to ask such a question and be so casual about it.
"You may call me Ramala," the Great Oracle said.
"So, Ramala. Why do you asked me to come to you?" Friks asked curiously.
"To teach you how to use this star bow! I'm sure you don't know how to use it yet, do you?" the Great Oracle said, pointing at the star bow Friks was wearing on his left arm.
Friks stared at the starbow he wore on his left arm, then looked back at the Great Oracle and nodded.
"Yes, I really don't know how to use it yet. Especially how to shoot with this crossbow," Friks said.
"That's why I'll teach you," the Great Oracle smiled.
"Great Oracle, can I go out for a moment? I want to go back to the place near the dimensional portal and see how Arthure is doing." Kaytrin pleaded.
The Great Oracle sighed and looked at Kaytrin intently.
"That is not necessary, Arthure will not return here or be found there," the Great Oracle said.
Suddenly, Kaytrin's face turned dark and sad, he understood what the Great Oracle meant. Her uncle had died, killed by the black-armored knight who had ambushed them earlier.
