Altering hearing Van's determination all of his group formed their will to do their best and to grow. They didn't know why but even though the situation was currently face to face with death, they felt free and excited about what was to come.
"Finally we've been looking all over for you. We asked around and nobody knew where the information about the orphanage came from so we thought it would be best to come to who we heard it from." A familiar voice sounded towards the group, surprisingly it was James with Todd in tow.
"I guess since we're not there anymore it doesn't matter, but we were planning to escape and thought starting some chaos would be a good way to get out of there." Van said nonchalantly, leaving James and Todd dumbfounded.
Did these guys casually expose a secret organization thinking the chaos would simplify an escape. They couldn't understand at all what their thinking pattern was like to think that was a good idea. But they couldn't argue it was a bad idea for them either since technically with their plan they were kicked out or freed depending on who was to tell the story.
After hearing about the trials and working for the labyrinth a lot of the orphans wished they could go back even though they had the chance of perishing at the orphanage at least life would be peaceful until then and there they would be allowed to go to school and have fun with their friends.
But due to a rumor on that scale all the orphans that were exposed to the rumor had to be executed or made to disappear because there was no telling the riots they'd see if the rumors reached the public. And because most of the orphans were registered in their schools through their parents or proxy parents, the schools wouldn't look to the orphanage for the disappearance of so many kids.
"Wow… so you guys knew the truth and wanted to escape so you used the truth to make everyone else scared while you saved yourselves…" Todd said in a solemn tone while James continued to remain silent.
"Well now that we know this is you fault you have to let us join your team, I know you guys are gonna have a plan for the trial and there's no way we're gonna just be servants for the rest of our lives and back down." James said having his thoughts reaffirmed but Todd's words.
Hearing the two making them sound like selfish devils Max and Erika looked down with awkward smiles on their face while Van who was directly being talked to awkwardly laughed.
"Erika this is James I don't think you two met before James this is Erika." Max said while awkwardly laughing him introducing Erika first was like his safety net, she was basically an espionage and anti espionage God.
"Nice to meet you welcome to the team." Erika said while pushing her hand out to greet James.
"Oh… N-nice to meet you too." James said while his face turned red and he shook Erika's hand.
'James has a beastification ability, while Todd can create any object he names if the picture in his mind of it is detailed enough.' Erika's voice sounded in Van's mind.
Van thought their abilities were underwhelming to say the least but he would have to wait and find out just how useful their abilities were.
"Welcome to the team boys!" Max said with an evil grin, Max knew James and Todd they had once gotten beat up by him because they tried to take his phone since they didn't have a way to get their own.
Seeing Max and hearing him the 2 boys said nothing and just nodded their head in a manner saying what's up.
They turned to max and asked about the rest of the group, "Who are the other 2 girls?" James and Todd asked in unison. Their perverted thoughts must have been in sync for this question.
Despite them not really acknowledging Max he didn't really care as he introduced the girls, "This is Lucia, and this is Elise once we get situated in our living quarters we will go over everyone's abilities and team training.
