The next day…
Max was the first to wake up at around 5am, he was always an early riser as it allowed him time to do the things nobody knew he was doing preparing his own plans.
He first used his newly acquired Paradiso to call the City Lord of Moon Blossom City to inform him that he had been transported into the labyrinth and they he could simply deposit the funds he received from city taxes into his bank account.
He then called the Manager of his resturaunt telling that they would be responsible for his workload while he was away, he also decided to give 35% of his normal earnings to the manager as payment to increase his favor and loyalty with the manager. The manager excitedly agreed to these terms as he took notes on his new responsibilities.
At around 6am the rest of the group started making their way out of their rooms while the two house keepers took the liberty to make the group breakfast seeing that they were all slowly waking up.
By 8am the entire group was awake and had eaten separately. They scheduled to meet in the training room at 9am so they could go over everyone's ability and talk about a plan for the upcoming battle royale. Truth be told Van and Max felt like they would be more comfortable by themselves or just the three including Erika.
However they kind of felt bad about the other kids from the orphanage being dragged here because of their actions so they were unwilling to kick them out of the group. As for Elise, her ability could be too crucial against them, Van and Max both played video games so they knew the highest level of warfare was information warfare. If you knew what your opener was and wasn't capable of the battle was as good as won the only thing needed from there was execution. And if Elise wanted to leave Max definitely didn't have any problem executing.
They all arrived in the training room which was on the first floor of the large lake house. The lake house was basically another mansion as the training room itself was approximately a 150 by 150 square room. To say the least it was massive and all of it was padded like that of an insane asylum.
"Wait where are you going?" Van asked James who was trying to make his way towards the elevator on the left side of the room.
"Aha I just wanted to see what the arcade looked like…" James replied. He was never big on studying or working hard he was a natural at basically everything he did so he figured he would be a natural using his ability as well.
"We can go play as soon as we figure out what everyone's ability is and how we can work together." Van said trying to enforce a bit of order.
"Alright I'll start, I have the super speed ability and an affinity with Lightning." Van said leading by example sharing his ability.
"I'll go next I have the hive mind ability, I can basically look into and take over other peoples consciousness after making physical contact." Erika said happily, hearing this Lucia, James, and Todd shivered abit knowing all of them had come into physical contact with her one way or another in the past.
"I have an affinity with space." Max said shortly causing the shock in Lucia, James, and Todd to grow even further.
"I have the ability all Seer, it's nice to meet all of you. By the way my ability allows me to see the abilities, strengths and weaknesses of anyone." Elise said while looking at Van as if he was a snack. She had exaggerated the 's' on abilities hinting that she knew something that Van hadn't shared.
Van brushed this action off as he looked to Lucia, James and Todd to say their abilities. They we're actually the only ones in the group that were unaware of the groups abilities as everyone else already knew everyone's ability one way or another.
James was the first to speak up saying, "I have the ability of beastification I can turn into a phantom and use telekinesis but I can only transform for a certain amount of time or I will become a real phantom."
After James Lucia spoke up, "My ability is abyssal flames." She said while creating a small black fire to show the group. Surprisingly the fire had no temperature whatsoever ever but it had a type of pulling force that didn't go unnoticed by anyone.
"I can create the things I'm able to learn the ins and outs about." Todd finished the only things he knew in and out right now was how to play some video games but that wasn't something tangible he could create.
