Once they completed phase 1 and had walked considerably around the grounds it was time for phase 2 of their plan to begin.
Phase 2 was a little simpler but still somehow complex. They we're to continue to meet up for their meals as they had been doing the past few days but they also took this chance to spread a few rumors to disrupt the peace of the orphanage. They knew word spread fast especially about controversial topics within the orphanage as anytime there was controversial news it had reached the higher ups of the orphanage within hours.
They went separately to the cafeteria so as to spread the rumor to as many of the orphans that they could within the day hoping the sooner it got to the higher ups and more orphans heard it the sooner the orphanage would be thrown into total disarray.
Van walked towards the cafeteria where he saw a group of 5 guys that he went to school with, "Yo, Todd, and James have you guys heard the rumor going around?" Van spoke to the two guys he knew specifically because they were in the same home room class for the past 4 years.
The entire group of boys looked at Van with a questing expression as James the leader of their group spoke up, "Are you talking about Alexia praying on her knees every night to Luke Chamberlain or something else?" He asked.
When James asked this question the group of guys burst out laughing because Alexia had also prayed on her knees to them and it was a night they would never forget.
Van shook his head at the groups antics and walked closer while looking around to make sure no one heard him starting the rumor.
"No, no It's way more serious, I actually heard that the orphanage is actually just an institution made to covertly sell talented kids to the government for experiments." Van said this in an extremely serious tone and gave another glance over his shoulder to make his act seem like he actually believed this to fool the young men in front of him.
Three of the boys started laughing even harder than before after hearing what Van had said it sounded totally unbelievable to them. However for Todd and James, Van's words reached something inside of them. They we're much more mentally mature than their friends as before arriving at the orphanage they saw their country razed to the ground with fire and bloodshed.
James took on a serious expression as he had suspected that this place was odd without ever having any solid evidence to expose what was really going on he just held on to the feeling that this orphanage was off.
"Hmm I could imagine that being somewhere close to the truth, is there any evidence or is this just something you heard." James asked Van to see if he had more information.
"I just heard some other students saying they heard a staff member talking about the bonus they received for bringing a kid here who was sold for experiments, I don't really know anything or have any evidence sorry." Van said trying to make his lie sound as believable as possible.
"Oh well thanks for telling us it may seem far fetched but something is definitely off about this orphanage." James said before turning back to his group of friends and all of them heading to the cafeteria.
Like this Max and Erika had also picked a few marks they suspected to have reservations about the orphanage that were friends with more chatty Cathy's to spread the rumors to.
Within a single meal the rumor was like a wild fire as every orphan in the cafeteria was heard talking about the orphanage selling orphans and their organs and how they were actually prisoners with no hope.
Some of the orphans made plans to run away once they were let out to go to school again while other orphans with less self control immediately began their escape. Throwing the orphanage into a state of chaos it hadn't seen in all it's years of being established.
